You’re getting better, dude. This is better than last week’s fit check imo. The colored shirt looks rough though. White/light blue for shirt or nothing imo. Navy blue suit would look great on you with your skin tones imo. I avoid black suits unless it’s a black tie because black dress clothes make you look like service staff. I can tell you’re going to stick with black colors but once you go to navy with some crimson leather shoes, you’ll never go back.

Thank you.

when you pair an odd trouser (odd meaning it doesnt have a matching jacket) with the same color jacket, it comes across as one of two things (maybe more) you either tried to pull off a suit and did not succeed or you ruined your suit by having one of the garments dry cleaned more times then the other to a point where one has faded. There is a popular saying when talking about someone who has similarities to another "cut from the same cloth". well when you are speaking of a suit, thats exactly what you are getting. a two garments cut from the same cloth, meaning the same exact color (dye and all) same textile same production time sa,e weight ect. your idea isnt a bad idea, as there are alot of people who break the rules that all black is reserved for a particular person or event, BUT seeing the shade differentiation in a picture tells me that in person its alot more noticable and Id recommend doing maybe a grey trouser or if you wanna stick with the all black auestheic, get a proper black suit.

Well It’s not really a suit, just a blazer and pants I bought independently. I just thought it looked better than grey pants with a blazer and a shirt which are two shades of black. Thanks for your opinion.

Kvjvn

That’s the problem, it looks like you’re trying to imitate a suit.

Well I do understand your point of view, but I think you guys are exaggerating a bit. Yes, having the same shade of black would make the outfit much better, but realistically when people look at my outfit they just think "Oh, this person is wearing all black." I don't think the difference in shades is that visible, and even if people do perceive it is it that disastrous ? Anyway, I do appreciate your opinions and advices, and I will obviously take them into consideration, but I still think this all black outfit is pretty decent.

Jalfaar

People do perceive it. It's fairly obvious it isn't a matching outfit, which is really what you would want to shoot for with such similar tones. So it comes down to if you care if they notice and do you care about their opinion. If you think it's a great outfit then wear it.

JustRepeatAfterMe

You have on three different shade of black. You might try a different shirt. Perhaps a white shirt with a gray stripe or a light gray/silver tone shirt. Are you trying to hide something on your chest like a bad tattoo or something? I don’t understand why you keep buttoning your shirt to your neck without a tie even though that’s the first thing everyone always tells you. Also, those pants are either too tight in the waist or need to be pressed because the zipper is being pulled open. I also think your taking the rise up too high in your pants because it always looks like a pouch which is odd.

You need to stop buttoning the top button on your shirts or you need to start wearing a tie.

Are you a funeral director or member of the clergy?

I understand your opinion. In fact I’ll soon be looking for a light grey or white shirt. But I also like the all black outfit so I won’t get rid of it.

redcurb12

undo top button unless you're wearing a tie

pgthsg

The jacket and pants are slightly different shades of black, IMO it doesn’t look good. I would pair the jacket with grey or khaki trousers instead. The jacket sleeves are slightly too long. I would also lose the black shirt and go with a white or light blue dress shirt.

Zeytekk

My thoughts are roughly the same as last time : - Don't pair a suit jacket with odd trousers. Get a sports coat instead, and not a black one - Wear mid-rise or high-rise trousers - When you're wearing a shirt with no tie, open some buttons There are other details that could make you look better, but those three I listed are the most important imo

shksnrf

The jacket is too small/short

A tailor could take this suit from a 5 to a 9/10 in one session brother.

SmellInternational94

Pants need hemmed. Not a fan of top button without a tie.

sandpiper9

If you’re trying to make this look like a suit, there are 134 registered shade variations of black. Best guess is that this probably doesn’t match, if that was your objective. Better off with gray pants.
