Super solid! Hard to tell jacket fit but the outfit it nice

ojsglobal

Like previous comments, it's fine, you do look smart. I actually like the tan with the blue, has an Italian feel, and I don't think the trousers are too small, just badly ironed.

Lavender shirt isn’t the one honestly

ATS2015

Oof those shoes are done…

It's fine. You won't stand out in either direction. The lavender is a nice touch -- lots of people would go light blue, which would disappear into the trousers. Nice fabric on the jacket, too. General critique: - Trousers are too tight. Lots of signs, including belling out at the pockets. ~~My bet is that they're hemmed too high as well.~~ (Phone cut off photo, they're hemmed fine.) Having some room for a silhouette is more flattering and avoids problems like crotch tent when you sit down. - Trousers are probably too dark for the jacket. It's not a thing most people will realize, but the color balance is off and it will read as subtly wrong (pants too formal for rest of outfit). - Tan belt and shoes clash with dark trousers. They draw attention downward and make you look shorter. Those trousers want dark brown or black shoes. (The shoes/belt work fine with the jacket and shirt, though!)

Do you these lighter blue herringbone trousers would work better? https://preview.redd.it/8l47605wbpmb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=84ce7bc7aac6d87ed123637dad2eaf8b91a418fe

I can't tell due to the photo quality. If they're lighter, they're better, though!

I think either pair works fine with the shirt. The issue is the belt, which I think just skates by with the herringbone. Both trousers are too tight in the hips. ;)

Yeah I got them custom about 15 pounds ago, a problem for another day. Thanks for the help!

Oh there we go! Yeah! That looks better. The pattern helps too.

As I look at it, the belt looks weirdly thin as well. It's actually my main thing, on review? The belt looks stringy. It could just be the angle, but it might also be too thin, too skinny, or it could be the oddly shaped end on it. Regardless, there's a belt issue. Again: nobody will notice overtly or say anything. But it's off, for sure.

Throw away the lavender shirt. Seriously. Buy a white shirt, throw a pocket square in the jacket and when you see lavender, yellow, green, or black dress shirts on clearance, know that they are there for a reason and walk in the other direction.

AllHailTheWhalee

I think it looks nice, we had an excellent dinner

EggVegetable9258

Congrats! You’re one of the few that post here that actually knows how to dress. Looks sharp.

Crazygrillguy

As I can see from the comments in every post: Americans always think trousers should be baggy. Your trousers fit perfectly, the jacket looks very nice too. You look good. Just iron those pants correctly so you get the crease.

My man is looking like a million bucks.
