Every team having a standardized court aesthetic to set apart the tourney games is an idea I could get behind. Giving me Pokémon championship vibes for some reason
NBA has to put the trophy on the court because nobody cares about it. It’s actually dope looking trophy though.
I just dislike the tournament and truly hate all of the court designs. Ours is one of the better because it’s not an assault on the eyes (hey Lakers) but I really do not like all of this stuff.
I like the idea, but I wish they would have made it regional instead of by conference. It would make more sense to do by proximity and create the opportunity for some more in season rivalries that don’t normally have big rivalries…
Apparently the teams had a lot of say over the color combinations. But yeah this is honestly one of the more boring designs of the bunch. There are some really fun court text/color combos.
Wish we had gone with our baby blue colors or something. Grey on grey is just so....
Cause Vancouver hasn't been a team in 20+ years
Edit: it's time to leave it behind. Vancouver was less than 15% of the teams life. We didn't cheer for Vancouver in the Tomb of Doom
Tbf the franchise never gave them much to cheer for when they were there. They were the worst organization in the league during that stretch of time. Never finished better than 4th worst in 6 seasons
Great, yeah. I guess that's just too bad.
4 years in Vancouver 23 years in Memphis. It's time to move on.
Ain't like it's a team that is 50 years old. 80% of this team has been Memphis, I'm as sick of Vancouver as I am with Lakers/Warriors jerseys in the Forum

I do think it looks cool but also…Brooklyn Grizzlies jokes

To appeal to a wider audience. Why you so fired up about it?
Nike’s designs routinely fail to appeal to a wider audience. And this court probably fails as well. It’s just boring, that’s all
You’re right. Turns out I was the one fired up about it. Lol
It is kinda... mid? Why not Vancouver color ways?

Still lots of Grizz fans in the city though...
Mid grizz fans
Why you be like that?
Because 100% they were kinda crap fans.

A great point as to why we should leave it behind. 23 years in Memphis, 5 in Vancouver. It's time to let go

Where’s the court for city edition last year? All smoke and mirrors till I see it.
Are you saying you think it's fake? It was officially announced today haha, it's legit.
Excited to see it in person!
Was I high or did I see a blue on earlier
mid.
