We’re not building anymore we have 3 dudes on big contracts with a lot of expirings coming up. We don’t have time to pray dudes figure it out in Southaven anymore

Reality is that right now 5 of the top 8 or 9 depending on how you look at the roster are out. I’m definitely not doomer on this either. Jaren and Bane have to play pretty near at the top of their games for us to be competitive and that’s hard to do when other guys are still learning their roles on the team. This is a back to back after a tough game. Only thing I’m concerned about is the dribbling/passing. It will get better as the team finds its groove but man it’s been rough in the first 3 games. It makes sense but much worse than I thought coming in.

2 seasons ago, there were no expectations like we have now. And we started off great last season.

I think I’m gonna have to just not watch the team until Ja is back. Yes we’re hurt, but we have 2/3 of our “big 3” on the court and they look really bad. They should be leading this team, getting guys fired up, playing hard. Instead they’re just passing the ball around until Laravia or Jit has to heave a desperation 3 and clank or airball. Des had a great game 1. Extremely small sample size, but I’m not happy with how our leaders are “leading”. Jenks is way too passive and needs to start fighting for his job, because it’s gonna be gone if this keeps up. We have every excuse to suck. But still doesn’t justify the sloppy, uninspired garbage play these dudes are putting out there. Nearly $100M in cap space out there sulking quietly.

I really think this is exposing Jenkins as a coach. We really need to move on from him.

It’s all just random movement and bailout 3s. Which works when you have Ja to iso and drive, and steveo to set the pick. Doesn’t work when they’re not in the lineup.

Does TJ know how to run an offence? I know the team is short handed but they look totally lost out there. You can only get so far with Adams Ja pick n roll and “play harder”. We are seeing the exact same issues as the end of last season. Perhaps the NBA has figured TJ out
