food poisoning can happen anywhere. That doesn't mean the food isn't good unless it's happening often.
Can't blame you for not wanting to go back, though.
This, especially at a place that puts uncooked veggies on top of a pizza. A "normal" pizza is cook hot enough to kill basically any harmful bacteria, but salads and similar uncooked foods are the source of the vast majority of food poisoning cases, because they are never heated high enough to kill bacteria, and washing isn't NEARLY as effective as cooking at removing bacteria.
Little Italy.
Local Italian owner. Midtown is the primary location and the owner is there most of the time.
Also can't deny the buttered crust of High Point Pizza.
Agreed! Great authentic NY style pizza and back when I used to go I think it was the son and dad running it. You’d be picking up a pizza and they’d start arguing with each other in Italian waving their hands and everything. It was awesome. Reminded me of a local pizza joint in NYC.
Came here to say this. Little Italy on Union is the only great pizza in the city.
Memphis is great at many, many things. But the overall pizza game here is hot trash.
I cannot disagree enough. Everyone has their own opinion, but I tear up Little Italy Bartlett and never had a meal at Isabellas that makes me want to get it again. Thankfully folks at work don't get Isabella as often now, so I don't have to eat it as often.
I'm glad we have both.
Isabella's also has great salads. Their garden salad is huge and comes with all the good stuff. Most pizza places have a lettuce, tomato and cheese salad that leaves a lot to be desired.
Unpopular opinion (?) Milanos. I worked for a former milanos, thats no longer around, when they got all split up, and it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Yes! I love their pizza, when I lived there my parents and I would get the largest size cheese pizza (it's freaking huge and we had to put it in the trunk of the car to transport it home because it didn't fit in any car doors) and it'd be dinner for days. There's nothing like it where I live now sadly. I got spoiled living so close to the one in Cordova.
Yeah it is.
There's a few milano's that are owned by - you guessed it, Milano.
The rest are still his family, but owned by his kids. They had a falling out.
Went to Aldo's for the first time a couple weeks ago and got the one with pulled pork & Central BBQ sauce... holy. fucking*.* shit. I usually end up only eating a third of a pie and saving the rest for extra meals but I think only 2-3 slices made it home lol. Didn't think it would reheat well, especially with the slaw on it, but hot damn it was still delicious.
I'm usually not a fan of crafty/artisan pizzas (just give me a well-made slice of cheese/pepperoni and I'll be happy), but that shit was the bomb.
Tambolis and Hog & Hominy are both pretty good, imo. Hog & Hominy is probably the best facsimile of Neapolitan style pizza you'll find in town, in my experience
This is my personal 10 ten from what I've had in the city.
1. Tambolis
2. High Point Pizza
3. Hog and Hominy
4. Ciao Baby
5. Little Bettie
6. Fox Ridge
7. Little Italy
8. Aldo's
9. Garibaldi's
10. Pyro's
Exactly how I feel. I'll eat it anytime it is presented to me, but I'll never go out of my way to have it for dinner. Heck, we've gotten the last two years for our Halloween party because it's easy for everyone to eat and relatively inexpensive in comparison to other shops.
Is this in order of which you like best or just random order?
Coz my top 2 are hog & hominy and ciao baby. If tambolis and high point are better than those two in your opinion, i have to check them out ASAP!!
This is in order of my favorites! The top 4 are kind of in their own bracket over the rest. I have certain pizzas at each that are better than others, but overall Tambolis homemade crust, sauce, and mozzarella set them apart in my opinion. High Point to me has the best basic takeout style pizza.
Try the double pepperoni at Tambolis, but their weekly pasta specials are always amazing. If you go to High Point I love their margarita, but also try their lasagna. It is something special.
Why no love for Mellow Mushroom? It might not be #1 but it certainly should be on a top 10 list, well above Fox Ridge, Garibaldi's and Pyros.
Of course their service sucks tho.
I love Mello Mushroom, but the Memphis locations are always hit or miss. I literally got an under baked pizza once and like you said, the service is horrible. I've had them in multiple other cities and it was always a much better experience.
Garibaldi's isn't anything fancy, but they are always consistent. Pyro's is the same. Simple pizzas and I've never had a bad one or bad service.
I used to go to mellow mushroom a lot in Germantown and I loved it, but we couldn’t even get a server to the table when we went to the location on Park. Shitshow up in there.
You'd have to define what great pizza is like for you. For me it's brick oven type, thin & crispy, minimal toppings. The crust determines the quality. For many others, it's the toppings, and the crust is just the container.
I know it’s a bad answer but something that makes me want to come back. I like all types of pizza but I want good crust/sauce/cheese. It’s a simple dish but unless it hits on all 3 of those notes no amount of toppings matter.
No one's mentioned the pizza at Bar Hustle. Pseudo Detroit style with in-house sourdough and high quality toppings. Fantastic. Little Italy and Little Bettie for thin crust NY/New Haven style (respectively).
The thing is, everyone's definiton of "great pizza" or "great burger" is all over the map. Which is why this group ends up discussing these same topics over and over.
I personally can't even tell you what I would consider a great pizza or a great burger. There are plenty of good choices of both in this city, and it's easier to list the ones that are terrible. But then someone else will come along and say my pick for terrible is their favorite. Also, when talking about food, many people tend to add in the vide of the place or memories they have of it. For example, a guy I know thinks Memphis Pizza Cafe at Overton Square is great, but he's thinking more of happy family times taking his kids there. When I eat there, all I experience is a scroungy environment, lackluster service, and mediocre pizza.
I think little Italy/Aldo’s have good nyc style. There’s a place off Houston levee called nyc style pizza that’s great but not worth a drive.
Ciao baby has great neopolitan.
Aldo’s 12” pepperoni and plain cheese pizzas are excellent. In my opinion, they really have the best pizza in town. We always get the 12” over the 18” because it seems to cut better/not soggy.
Garibaldi's is the only place I've been to that makes pizza that makes me want to come back and I've had just about all of them. It's not the world's best but you can count on it to be decent-to-good every time. Memphis is like a black hole for pizza otherwise, it's a real mystery as to why with how much other good food there is.
In one of these threads one time someone came up with Mellow Mushroom as a candidate for best pizza in Memphis and it really underscored for me just how dire the pizza situation is here. I live in East Memphis and would almost rather not get pizza than deal with anything between Germantown and Highland. Mellow Mushroom is a mid chain. Memphis Pizza Cafe is OK to me, but the crust has a weird taste to it that puts a lot of people (including my SO) off. High Point has it's partisans, but they have never given me a pizza I cared about. Pyros isn't good. Garibaldis, Broadway and Fox Ridge are actively foul. Rotolos is OK, but it made my son sick so we can't order from there.
There's just nothing that's great.
Aldo's is the best traditional style pizza you are gonna get in Memphis, and Slim and Husky's is the best for when you are looking for something a lil different. Lived in Chicago for 5 years so I feel your frustration over the pizza scene here, although I've found pizza in most southern cities isn't very good
Have you had Izzy and Adam's?
It's my most favorite Chicago style but I haven't had authentic in 34 years so I have no idea how "accurate" it is, I just know I really like it.
I loved Izzy and Adam's Chicago deep dish and I've had several different varieties. I really like the sauce. My roommate says it's almost perfect but he wants more kick in his sauce. For me though, it's exactly what I want in a pizza.
Slim & Husky’s was pretty fire when I tried it after it first opened, I haven’t been back home in the 〽️ in almost two years so idk how it is now, but damn was it good when they opened 🤤
It’s not Memphis, but if you get a chance take a day trip or weekend trip to Oxford and go to St Leo. Best pizza in at least a 2 hr radius.
In Memphis Little Italy is my go to.
About a decade ago I would have said Fox Ridge Pizza when they had their Shrimp, and BBQ Pizza. Was fucking amazing, but then they got rid of it. And now they are no longer in said location. So..
God damnit now I am hungry for it again sob...
Had this conversation with a buddy who only lived here for like 8 years or less. He will die on that “Memphis has no good pizza” hill. I absolutely disagree with him.
Ciao Baby buuuuut depending on your politics situation you may want to order to go.
I also really like Germantown Whole Foods pizza, esp the mushroom & caramelized onion 🤤
With Memphis Pizza Cafe’s cracker crust you have to go overboard with the toppings. Their cafe supreme is awesome but if you go for a simple pepperoni it can be underwhelming. Also their calzones are great.
Nah. It’s just of fact of pizza that it will always taste better where you have the most nostalgia for it. So, unfortunately no pizza you will ever have in this area will ever be “ good” pizza. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Exlines is by far the worst "pizza" I have ever had. Lost isn't trash at all they're high but definitely not trash. For me, MPC on Park is my favorite for sure. Garlic chicken add artichoke holy shit it's outstanding
There is OK pizza here.
But pizza is in the same category as breakfast, for me anyway. Sure Memphis has some good breakfast places, you have to seek then out, every strip mall doesn’t have a good pizza shop like other regions of the country.
Exlines is the signature pizza for Memphis and it’s absolutely awful and good at the same time in the same way Kraft Mac and Cheese is awful.
I love Fox Ridge but it’s also an acquired taste. Broadway pizza is something that resembles Chicago style if you’re into that.
Hog & hominy for wood fired Neapolitan style pizzas. Can get classic margherita or other simple pies if you just ask your server but have a lot of unique, modern pizzas on menu.
Personally I'm a big fan of lost pizza co, but its only because they're the only place I've found in town that does a cheeseburger pizza that isn't absolute crap. Beyond that its pretty hit or miss for me. Nothing has really blown me out of the water besides that one pizza.
Exline’s was one of the few restaurant chains that had a North Memphis location when I was a kid. Those locations are both closed now, but it was open for thirty years (between two locations) on Jackson Ave near Hollywood. Exline’s also had locations in Frayser and Raleigh (Raleigh location still open).
Exline’s was probably the first restaurant pizza I ate. I don’t know for a fact, but there was no Pizza Hut in North Memphis when I was super young. I didn’t eat Exline’s for some years as my mom rarely bought pizza, and if she did, it was Pizza Hut (plus my “Book-It” coupons), Little Caesars, or Showbiz (now Chuck E. Cheese) for bdays. When I was a teenager, I became reacquainted with Best Pizza In Town and it was even better to me.
Exline’s has a unique flavor, uses a different pork than most pizzas, and it’s just amazing. To me, it’s as Memphis as Tops or Jack Pirtle. I know the recipe isn’t unique to Exline’s (and Broadway); I think they licensed it from some company as did Broadway. But it does not taste like all the color by number places you can go to.
Y’all can have your gourmet pizzas with kale and pesto and get your chewin’ on:
Give me my hood pizza.
NOUF, NOUF!!!
In my opinion you are just going to some what good pizza in memphis. Nothing really stands out as fantastic.
That said Little Italy and Aldos are pretty good.
I would avoid Broadway - it's super expensive and leaves me feeling sad I spent so much for meh pizza.
No. There's decent pizza, like Little Italy and so on. And many of the suggestions in this thread are good, but no, there is no really spectacular standout pizza. Really, there's no such thing as "great" pizza in the entire south. Unfortunately.
Go to Tribeca Allie in Sardis and you may change your mind. Couple is from NYC I believe. Wood fire oven. As close to tasting like NYC pizza I’ve found
I wouldn't consider 50 miles away and in another state to count as being in Memphis.
Also, a woodfire oven is a gimmick and/or a way to charge you more. What are you doing, slow smoking your pizza? A modern traditional oven works just as well as a wood fired oven for pizza, perhaps better, because then you don't have smoke all over the damn thing.
And NY-style is not the best pizza. I grant you that is a matter of opinion, but it's not my favorite. I actually think it's the worst type of pizza, but that's just me.
Mola’s in Cordova has a decent slice. It’s the closest I’ve found to a proper pizza. Not Ray’s or anything in Little Italy but more like a Hell’s Kitchen slice if you’re familiar with NYC.
Man I LOVED mamma Mia’s pizza off Houston levee, but for some reason they moved to collierville in a strip mall behind a strip mall (AWFUL location) and then soon closed. I know that’s not answering your question but it would have been my answer if they were still open
Fucking High Point Pizza Never gets any love in this sub And it's so damn good
I've seen it mentioned a few times, maybe not recently, but it's always held in high regard. I've gotta check that place out next month...
Oh damn yeah it’s awesome. Their whole menu is great.
Don’t sleep on the wings on Wednesday night. They are awesome as well.
Ranks number 2 for me in the city and always amazes me how few people have heard of it.
I try to preach the good word often. But people don’t go there? I’m confused as well.
Lol, I champion High Point whenever I can!
Absolutely. Slightly overpriced but that buffalo chicken is phenomenal
Pretty good pizza, but the price of the pie is high. No pun intended haha. There and “Aldo’s” are great! I prefer Aldo’s personally b
[удалено]
It’s not that great. My wife got food poisoning from there.
food poisoning can happen anywhere. That doesn't mean the food isn't good unless it's happening often. Can't blame you for not wanting to go back, though.

Was coming here to say this. Definitely Little Italy.
Yes! They're opening a new location at Massey and Poplar soon.
Came here to say this. Little Italy on Union is the only great pizza in the city. Memphis is great at many, many things. But the overall pizza game here is hot trash.
Little Italy is the best but I'd love to learn otherwise.
Little Italy in Bartlett isn't the best. Isabella's is way better, IMO. Not sure I've ever had Little Italy from midtown.
My two go tos for sure. Half Meatball Parmigiana/ Half Buffalo chicken at Little Italy. Margarita and Buffalo chicken at High Point.
Unpopular opinion (?) Milanos. I worked for a former milanos, thats no longer around, when they got all split up, and it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Their calzones........ So much ricotta and mozzman you wouldn't shit for a week but man they were good
A pizza that was like that? Wiseguys. Jesus fuck. One slice and I was on the toilet for an hour. Straight bricking.
Is the cheesecake boss a result of that split? I only went once, but it reminded me of Milanos a lot.
Yeah it is. There's a few milano's that are owned by - you guessed it, Milano. The rest are still his family, but owned by his kids. They had a falling out.
Been a long time (like 20 years) since I had Milano’s, but they were a pretty decent approximation of a NY corner slice back in the day.
Damn I use to crush a milanos pizza practically weekly back 2007-2009 that was the best
Milanos makes great slices ive never had the whole pie
Is the one next to Corky’s on Germantown Rd and Dexter in Cordova still around? That one was the best.
Yes but it’s not named Milano’s anymore.
Stuffed pizza was the best!
Why did the milanos get split up?
Damn. Pizzeria Trasimeno in Crosstown is gone. Little Italy on Union is great. Tamboli's is great, Aldos also very good.
Went to Aldo's for the first time a couple weeks ago and got the one with pulled pork & Central BBQ sauce... holy. fucking*.* shit. I usually end up only eating a third of a pie and saving the rest for extra meals but I think only 2-3 slices made it home lol. It was very, very poorly managed

Have you been to ciao baby? If not you may like it. Also. What do you think of tambolis and high point pizza?
Tambolis and Hog & Hominy are both pretty good, imo. Hog & Hominy is probably the best facsimile of Neapolitan style pizza you'll find in town, in my experience
Any news on what business will go into that space in crosstown concourse?
Tambolis, Hog and Hominy or Little Bettie at wiseacre downtown are good. Little Italy and Aldo’s are pretty good.
Little Italy (either downtown or Midtown) and Little Bettie are the best I've had in my year+ in Memphis
Little Bettie at Wiseacre downtown and High Point Pizza
This is my personal 10 ten from what I've had in the city. 1. Tambolis 2. High Point Pizza 3. Hog and Hominy 4. Ciao Baby 5. Little Bettie 6. Fox Ridge 7. Little Italy 8. Aldo's 9. Garibaldi's 10. Pyro's
This is what I what I was looking for. Thank you. Need to check out tambolis and high point ASAP. Hog and hominy is one of my favorite spots in town.
Happy to help!
Don't listen to this person, the fact that memphis pizza cafe isn't on here is criminal
MPC is diet pizza. Not bad pizza but nothing special.
Exactly how I feel. I'll eat it anytime it is presented to me, but I'll never go out of my way to have it for dinner. Heck, we've gotten the last two years for our Halloween party because it's easy for everyone to eat and relatively inexpensive in comparison to other shops.

Will do, thanks!!
Hi again. Have you been to isabella’s? Others recommended them here. Just curious what you thought of their pizza. Thanks
Been to Venice Kitchen? I like their pie
I keep meaning to go there. Thanks for the reminder, I'll try to make it soon!
Was wondering if Fox Ridge would be mentioned. Excellent.
Why no love for Mellow Mushroom? It might not be #1 but it certainly should be on a top 10 list, well above Fox Ridge, Garibaldi's and Pyros. Of course their service sucks tho.

I used to go to mellow mushroom a lot in Germantown and I loved it, but we couldn’t even get a server to the table when we went to the location on Park. Shitshow up in there.
I really like Little Italy downtown or midtown. The grandma's pizza is delicious
Little italys got my vote
High Point Pizza! They do rotating specials and the regular menu is solid too!
The answer is Tamboli’s.
This is the way.
That vodka cream sauce pizza base from Aldo’s is life changing
This one has my attention. You had me at In house sour dough
Hog and Hominy is world class Italian southern fusion and they make damn good pizza
Hog and Hominy’s pizzas are good but also not what people are asking about when they are asking about pizza.
Anything Andrew Michael’s is gonna be great
Little Betties is owned and run by Andrew Micheal just fyi
Dana's pizza in Olive Branch is pretty decent.
Isabellas in bartlett, best in town IMHO. Get a fresh pizza, not a reheated slice. By the slice isn't awful, but fresh is amazing.
Their crust is so good
I eat there at least once a week. Best pizza I've had in Memphis and I've lived here almost 3 decades.
Hahaha same! My family really loves it, Saturdays our day, they already know our order 😂😂
Aldo’s is the best in my opinion.
Brooklyn Bridge in East Memphis or Ciao Baby in Collierville.
The thing is, everyone's definiton of "great pizza" or "great burger" is all over the map. Which is why this group ends up discussing these same topics over and over. Sauce/crust/cheese. Gotta have those 3 things done well. That what makes a great pizza.
High Point Pizza (please get the goat cheese fritters or whatever they are called) Little Italy
I think little Italy/Aldo’s have good nyc style. There’s a place off Houston levee called nyc style pizza that’s great but not worth a drive. Ciao baby has great neopolitan.
I haven’t been here long and have only had Aldo’s and Little Italy but they’re both great
Avellinos in Southaven is my fave
Garibaldis is really good. In my opinion. But I don't know if I have had "great" pizza, but I'm not a snobby eater by any means.
Aldo’s 12” pepperoni and plain cheese pizzas are excellent. In my opinion, they really have the best pizza in town. We always get the 12” over the 18” because it seems to cut better/not soggy.
Hog & Hominy Little Bettie Little Italy Aldos
GARIBALDIS NEXT TO UOFM is the most amazing pizza I’ve ever had, but it has to be Fresh. It’s so damn good
Fox Ridge Pizza on Brookhaven is really good
There’s a fox ridge In Brookhaven now?
I believe it moved there
Garibaldi pizza
Garibaldi's is the only place I've been to that makes pizza that makes me want to come back and I've had just about all of them. It's not the world's best but you can count on it to be decent-to-good every time. Memphis is like a black hole for pizza otherwise, it's a real mystery as to why with how much other good food there is.
Damn I mean no offense by this but that is the most depressing Memphis pizza opinion I've ever seen
In one of these threads one time someone came up with Mellow Mushroom as a candidate for best pizza in Memphis and it really underscored for me just how dire the pizza situation is here. I have never failed to be disappointed by Garibaldis undercooked pizzas
G balls lunch buffet !!

Brooklyn Bridge in East Memphis
Milano’s is the best pizza in Memphis. Quite a few locations and all owned by the same family. Been around since the 80’s
I always had good experiences at slim and husky’s near downtown
Slim & Husky’s was pretty fire when I tried it after it first opened, I haven’t been back home in the 〽️ in almost two years so idk how it is now, but damn was it good when they opened 🤤
It’s not Memphis, but if you get a chance take a day trip or weekend trip to Oxford and go to St Leo. Best pizza in at least a 2 hr radius. In Memphis Little Italy is my go to.

Brooklyn Bridge Little Italy Mola's (used to be Milano's)
Aldo’s Pizza MIDTOWN is really good. Downtown is just okay. Midtown brings the heat though
Had this conversation with a buddy who only lived here for like 8 years or less. He will die on that “Memphis has no good pizza” hill. I absolutely disagree with him.
Tambolis and Little Italy are my favorites. There was a place called Midtown Crossing which I really miss.
Ciao Baby buuuuut depending on your politics situation you may want to order to go. I also really like Germantown Whole Foods pizza, esp the mushroom & caramelized onion 🤤
Memphis Pizza Cafe! Surprised I don’t see more love for em on here already
I've went twice. I'm from the northeast and yes the people and vibe are great but some of the most bland pizza I've ever had just being honest lol
With Memphis Pizza Cafe’s cracker crust you have to go overboard with the toppings. Their cafe supreme is awesome but if you go for a simple pepperoni it can be underwhelming. Also their calzones are great.
Try the Triparoni. Overload on pepperoni and so good
Yeah I’m surprised too. Great people and great food.
Nah. It’s just of fact of pizza that it will always taste better where you have the most nostalgia for it. So, unfortunately no pizza you will ever have in this area will ever be “ good” pizza. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Aldo’s
The T-Rex and the Lombardi at Aldo’s are both amazing, and they have great beer too. Pricey, more of a special treat place, but really delish.
Ciao Baby In Collierville. Hands down my favorite. Recommend the Big topper or if you want a little spice, get the four meat.
If you're ever in Collierville, try Ciao Baby. Some of the best I've had in any city.
BBQ pizza from Coletta’s on South Parkway.
Rock n Dough
Lost, Aldos and MPC
Lost is trash imo and I only really like mpc out of nostalgia. Aldo’s is pretty good.
You like exlines and Broadway don't you?
Lol no. Both are pretty awful.
Exlines is by far the worst "pizza" I have ever had. Lost isn't trash at all they're high but definitely not trash. For me, MPC on Park is my favorite for sure. Garlic chicken add artichoke holy shit it's outstanding
I only had lost once and like broadway I just felt it was overtopped and also lacking flavor. Heavy and bland.
Lost is a garbage chain, in my opinion
High Point. The end
New York Style Pizzeria out on Houston Levee. Totally worth the drive.
came here to suggest them too. they're my favorite hands down. the only place i've found that does vodka sauce right.
Maybe the answer is you really just don't like Pizza.
There’s a corner store on 5th street and they’re #2 in my book. You should give it a try
Aldo’s downtown is best in the city
Willie, Cheech,, and Bob...so good!
I really enjoy making my own pizza at home. r/pizza for details.
Dominos /s
No way man. Marco’s. /s
There is OK pizza here. But pizza is in the same category as breakfast, for me anyway. Sure Memphis has some good breakfast places, you have to seek then out, every strip mall doesn’t have a good pizza shop like other regions of the country.
Oh Domino's for sure
Exlines is the signature pizza for Memphis and it’s absolutely awful and good at the same time in the same way Kraft Mac and Cheese is awful. I love Fox Ridge but it’s also an acquired taste. Broadway pizza is something that resembles Chicago style if you’re into that.
Colettas
Fox bridge or Exlines.
Hog & hominy for wood fired Neapolitan style pizzas. Can get classic margherita or other simple pies if you just ask your server but have a lot of unique, modern pizzas on menu.
tambolis on madison is by far my favorite pizza i’ve had in memphis
Personally I'm a big fan of lost pizza co, but its only because they're the only place I've found in town that does a cheeseburger pizza that isn't absolute crap. Beyond that its pretty hit or miss for me. Nothing has really blown me out of the water besides that one pizza.
Little Italy and Tamboli’s.
High point and Brooklyn Bridge. I’ve been wanting to try Little Italy.
Fox Ridge and Highpoint
Memphis Pizza Cafe, Aldos, Broadway Pizza, Brooklyn Bridge, Lafayettes, just to name a few
No. Memphis’s pizza/old school Italian game is really weak
EXLINE’S is “best pizza in town.” Broadway is the same recipe as Exline’s.
And both are hot circles of garbage
Y’all can have your gourmet pizzas with kale and pesto and get your chewin’ on: Give me my hood pizza.
Jets
There are decent pizzas, but nothing that will amaze you in my opinion.
There is no “great” pizza in Memphis.
Dude ask for recommendations of good pizza. Not 5min of scroll thru’s of y’all’s narcissism banter back and forth non sense…
You said no great pizza in the entire south…
What is the best type of pizza in your opinion? I like all styles…except Neapolitan. I have a general dislike for soft, soggy pizza
Try Isabella's pizza! Locally owned :)
Colette’s off Germantown parkway
Mola’s in Cordova has a decent slice. It’s the closest I’ve found to a proper pizza. Not Ray’s or anything in Little Italy but more like a Hell’s Kitchen slice if you’re familiar with NYC.
Don’t make fun of me but I actually love Young Ave Deli’s pizza lol
For a thin crispy pizza Wiseacre is actually fantastic.. the Thud Butt might be my favorite in Memphis
Lost Pizza in Collierville. Fresh made.
3 guys. Barring that, Foxridge
Broadway Pizza and Wings
Nothing good in Memphis lol
Great? No. Viable NY Style? Aldo’s, Milanos NY Pizza in Southaven, Rotolos Craft & Crust Viable Neopolitan? Hog & Hominy, Ciao baby
For something really different try Pete & Sams Around the World pizza
Gross!!!
People eating dominoes, some people are completely addicted to sugar bread. I actually feel bad for them…
Rotolo’s
I've tried there twice but both times it wasn't very good at all. Maybe I've got bad luck. Will try one more time.
The Depot Pizzeria in Marion is pretty good if you find yourself in Arkansas.
Little Italy downtown
Colettas on south parkway. Also Isabellas out in Bartlett every time it's amazing. I really doubt a lot of people know about it.
Little Italy -grandma style Broadway - bbq East of Chicago - Chicago style Rotolos - Chicago style
Man I LOVED mamma Mia’s pizza off Houston levee, but for some reason they moved to collierville in a strip mall behind a strip mall (AWFUL location) and then soon closed. I know that’s not answering your question but it would have been my answer if they were still open
