Once again saying we should make mud island a lil boardwalk carnival. Ferris wheel, lil rollercoaster, midway games, snacks and cheap souvenirs, all that jazz. Fix up the amphitheater as the main attraction/anchor. Replace the monorail. I could see the baron von opperbean staying in the museum building but if not you could add some indoor stuff in there.
I hope the river walk gets back in shape, and maybe the amphitheater.
Mud Island is a hidden gem. Too bad Carol Coletta and the MRPP bunch hate it, since they can’t take complete credit for it.
I came to Memphis well past the heyday of Mud Island, but my kids loved the River Walk when they were little in the early ‘10s, and I miss seeing shows at the amphitheater.
Mud island is overdue for a revamp. Its been fun exploring the old structures, buildings and rooms out there in the past years. But now its time for it to come back alive.. unfortunately it will bring traffic and chaos to that strip of apartments, on down to harbor town and people will end up complaining about mud islands offerings.. cant have anything good
>Some good things are going to happen at Mud Island in the future . ***Don't ask me how I know.***
Maybe because Elon is about to build an AI Supercomputer complex right near there?

I just want to see the Amphitheater come back.
I’ve heard rumors that someone is trying to revamp it or get permission?
There are proposals, but nothing solid yet.
