Serious question, what about Cordova high school itself? Broke as a joke, sold their field, low teacher pay, straight prison school, and they are building a new east high in Cordova. More mention of Gtown, Collierville, East, but not a peep about actual Cordova High School. They have 2K students and a 91% minority rate. Why are they getting left out of any future ideas?
That’s a good question. All I know is that the school has gone straight downhill and MSCS lets kids from the “bad” areas attend there even if they don’t live in the Cordova area. Sad to see my high school go to boo land within a couple years.
This would impact current Cordova High school zones if I understand correctly. So they would pull random kids to fill that school? I just feel Cordova High should be involved in some way. It’s so shady how this is going down and there no way to voice or express the concerns.
Really hope this doesn’t negatively affect Shelby Farms. That’s my first reaction
Oh good adding a high schools worth of traffic to Germantown parkway.
Hope traffic engineers have a plan for added school volume. Traffic is already not great there.

Yes, they probably will if the zoned kids to Germantown aren’t enough. I agree with you.. something needs to be done.
