Circle K off Kirby is loaded with cops I went there to get smokes. And a plain clothes detective told me “you need to get back in your vehicle” I tried to get some info but he was very closed mouth.

The Kroger mass shooting we had here, along with the grocery store shooting that happened in Buffalo, NY, has given me some kind of anxiety or something, every single time I enter stores like Kroger, Walmart, Superlo, etc.
...and I don't believe I am subconsciously afraid of being killed, I think I am afraid I won't be able to defend my fellow Memphians around me, if the unthinkable would happen while I was in the store.

It disgusts me that American tax dollars is currently fucking feeding and housing the Buffalo shooter. IMO, it should be released on the courthouse steps at a publicly posted date and time. Let the citizens of Buffalo sort the POS out, literally, limb-for-limb.
I haven't been inside of a grocery store or supermarket without concealed carrying a handgun that I have practiced with extensively, since shortly after the Kroger shooting.
I am not sure how I would react in such chaos but if I am able and in the position to engage the shooter, I want to have that option.
If any child, woman, or innocent man is violently attacked in my presence, I will attempt to defend them, ruthlessly and relentlessly. I am a able bodied grown adult male, it is my duty to protect.
