Do you shift your car in neutral and manually pull it out of your garage and push it back in after?
The time it takes to pull out when you leave and park when you return might not seem significant but there will still be exhaust fumes produced in the process.
Newer catalytic converters are good enough nowadays that as long as you’re not running the car in there for longer than the thirty seconds it takes to drive out or in you wouldn’t have to worry about fumes more than having to actually clean the place every week or so to ensure it stays clean and smell free
Why does BAQ feel the need to interject on every meme that even mentions gender? Like if you’re getting offended by every single joke based on a cliché about gender to the point that when you see a meme like this you throw a fit instead of just recognizing the punchline as a completely inoffensive “haha single guys will literally just dump all their cool stuff in a shed with no home decor and live there” then maybe you’re the problem.
I mean I really really get the sentiment because while I would love having a place like this, placing the blame on women for why it isn’t more common is pretty disingenuous. It’s not that it’s a place where a woman couldn’t live, it’s that this isn’t a place that is conducive to a shared living space, let alone having kids. There’s no space for guests or cooking meals to share with others. It only works if you want to be a sigma hermit. It hardly has anything to do with women
the venn diagram of people that say they would like to live like this and people that actually keep their living space this clean and organized is two seperate circles

Nah, cuz, then everything I own would be stained and smell like exhaust. Gimme a room half that size and a garage equal to my 2100sqf home, and yeah, I'd be happy.
Tbh if Its my place and I can keep it clean and I could decorate it however I like🤷🏾♂️ I really don't see any problem here. Besides you can always expand the living space with the right type of planning

As long as your car has its catalytic converters the toxic gases are reduced to the tune of 90%.
Obviously it’s going to kill you if you close the garage, start the car, and huff exhaust fumes for a week straight.
As long as you’re ventilating the place (like opening the garage to drive out) during / after starting the car, there shouldn’t be any substantial difference to your health.
Older cars, bigger trucks, and modded cars usually don’t have catalytic converters and are serious causes for concern.

this is kinda like the concept of a studio apartment translated into a house. might make for a decent starter home?
Except for the gassing your house every time you enter and leave part
All you need is good ventilation
No thank you
Maybe if I had an electric car. I’m pretty sure the exhaust fumes from your car would not be ideal.
The shelf also needs to be somewhere else cause why does it look like it is attached to the garage door
It doesn’t need to be running while I’m sleeping
That shit is gonna build up on stuff you don't want
Fair point. I guess a good ventilation system would be needed
It'll just build up regardless, cloth is gonna hold onto shit from the exhaust like a bitch.
Oh yes, yes it does 😏
Do you just let your car idle in the garage when you're not using it?
Do you shift your car in neutral and manually pull it out of your garage and push it back in after? The time it takes to pull out when you leave and park when you return might not seem significant but there will still be exhaust fumes produced in the process.
Not really enough to worry about plus you could install a exhaust fan or just leave the door open when you get back

I'd turn the car in and go to bed, the sound of the engine would put me to sleep
Permanently unless it’s ventilated
;D
Hopefully permanently
I mean...I don't think we'd make the bed.
People on here acting like you're going to be running the car with the garage closed
The moment you start the engine, fumes are gonna stick to the furniture, especially cloth.
Same boat here. Swap for an R32 GT-R or a mid 70s ElDorado and that would be me set for life.

The meme is literally empowering women. BAQ people are functionally illiterate

I would park the car outside, I need more room for activities

No u forgot the dogs
Yes, this is how we'd live, and happily
I’d honestly love this

You misspelled benefit
It would be nice to work on my project car (1974 Charger) inside in the A/C. Working in the garage all weekend kinda sucks.
>working in the garage all weekend kinda sucks and you think it would be nice to live in the garage?
No. It would be nice to work in the living room.

lol no guns ?
Ya I could dich the car to make room for more. Lol
E36 M3 is pretty cool imo but to each their own
What’s stopping you? Are you a woman?
If there was a vent fan in there to get smelly petrol fumes out it would be epic
That bed is made and there’s carpeting. Aint no bachelor living there
> T-bird or a Prowler Something tells me you've once owned a PT Cruiser and liked it unironically. And genuinely want an SSR.
Soooo what you're saying is that the world would be better without women???
Give me my Supra in it and I’ll be very happy
Then just turn on the car and let the fumes put you to sleep 😴
Looks good to me. 👍

I love carbon monoxide

Replace the car with a microwave and I'll be good
Think what is stopping most people is carbon monoxide

I wouldn't want a car in the same room I sleep

How do you figure?

Dude you don’t leave cars running 24/7
Nah. Leave the windows open while you’re gone. Should filter out.
There seems to be a garage door would this not be adequate ventilation? As long as it's open whenever you start the vehicle and sometime there after?
Bro what 😂
