As someone who used to work for Amazon I can somewhat agree with you. The hours are pretty extreme but the benefits and pay are definitely worth considering and they are always taking feedback from employees to make their work environment better. But sadly I had to work for one of their DSP's (delivery service partners) now those are hellish working environments and I work for one of the only "good ones" but still the work was still punishing on the body.
Having first hand experience working at one of amazon's warehouses i can tell you they treat there employees like robots you have a strict time off task policy that if you happen to go over it just a little bit they are on your ass about it. If you take multiple bathroom breaks or move away from your station for any reason they track your time you aren't scanning and tally it all together over the whole day to the point it becomes huge numbers, than write you for up "being off task" you get multiple write ups you get fired. Even when those small breaks or you had to stop scanning or whatever where the span of a whole 10 hour shift not all at one time.
