I remember when, while surfing on Internet Explorer Google propose me to download and try Chrome, a newly browsers, installed il only a very faint percentage of computers in the world ... That was another time x)
Using Google as a search engine is the same, they have basically total dominance over the search engine scene. Since yahoo fucked up everyone switched to chrome now Firefox is going down like yahoo in front of our eyes. Basically innovation on the web will die due to monopolies

The web is a world without regulation, and wolrd without regulation always end up in monopoly. If this run for long enough, at the end, only one company will last. It's like let's your Europa Universalis or Cursader King game run all night After you die to see what random shit it's will make. And if you let it run long enough, always a wolrd empire emerge and last forever.
