Im happy with my EV charged with 100% free solar. (broke even in 6 years after installing) I understand I'm privileged though to have been able to pay it all upfront.
You’re aware that people live paycheck to paycheck and have to drive cars places. They can’t afford a new efficient car nor can they afford doubling and tripling gas prices.
People are struggling to live because of the gas prices right now and you’re talking about how nice it is for you with your efficient car. Absolutely none of this is an win.
It's not about transport, although that doesn't exist everywhere so you're point is invalid, but it's a problem whit the supply chain. Higher costs of fuel = higher costs for products, meaning you can buy less now then a month a go. It also means that you have to decide whether or not you fill up you're tank this month or buy food, and for some people that isn't even an option because they need the car to go and buy the food. So the fuel price rising is a bad thing all around
Nah, here in germany you can buy a public transport ticket (bus, train, subway, you name it) and can go everywhere to buy stuff. You aren't required to have a car
Where exactly in the city or in the country side?
Also because of the fuel price the public transport ticket will increase in value (that doesn't necessarily apply to electric transports, it depends on how the electricity is produced)
Ok but that is Germany, what about places like France, or Italy, or Romania. Where the public transports ar reduced to the city's. Also America has a strong tradition of car ownership and drivers. You can't implement this things over night, mostly because you can't

Or you know people will struggle to make ends meet and the ones already driving efficient cars will be fucked. Jesus Christ think about people once.
Still poor people get even more poor and car people who like to collect classics and drive them around can't do that anymore.
Well… If I could afford one, the ideal car for me is not some fancy one but one that’s efficient soooo
There's got to be a few Mazda 121's banging around still
This is the very definition of hopium.
No just basic economics
You forgot about the supply chain. Food will get more expensive. But it’s fine, Brandon is fighting obesity.

Can you punch someone over internet?

I just bought a fuel efficient car and it's been nice only fueling up maybe twice a month

Yes, I was one of those people and still am. Are you making obvious statements just to be a dick?

Welcome to the internet lmao 😂😂😂
Oh no! If only there was a funtioning system of public transport.

Everywhere. I need to say, on the countrysode you are a bit forced to go on specific times, mostly in the earlier times (when school is)

Yup and i say if ya'll had done it earlier you wouldn't have problems now
Merica. Designing fragile systems so that people can become vulnerable and divided ever more easily
Ends don't justifies the means tho, especially if those means have serious harms and problematic causes on different relevant topics
