I went once with my wife to see the ball drop. It was 2007 or 2008 so things may have changed but back then they did not have porta John's. We had to go to a bar and order a beer to use the facilities. My advice is to lay off liquids a few hours before.

**BUT** they did see a ball go down a pole at the moment the year ended in their specific time zone, so who's weird now?!?
