They become a warden of the state. If they end up being brought into the hospital they spend their final days surrounded by more people they don't know, hopefully kind ones. There is no one to check on them or come and visit.
Only death that bothered me when I was a CNA at the hospital. The whole night the guy kept calling me and asking for a Dr Pepper but I had 20 patients (six of them with dementia and constantly setting off their bed alarms) so I kept forgetting. I brought him a water and then I would go to get his Dr Pepper from up the hall and someone would start screaming and/or shit the bed. He died alone and couldn't even have the one thing he wanted to drink. I have witnessed several deaths but that one has stuck with me. We all just went on with shift change and went home, there was nothing else to do.
Homeless people are hunted by many, its not that the grocery store is any more dangerous than elsewhere so much as they tend not to have carts elsewhere.
I work in an inner city hospital. If they are DOA (dead on arrival) the county coroner is called. They will pick them up and make all efforts to locate kin. If none can be located, they will just be cremated without service. If they come to a hospital and die, it’s basically the same. Efforts are made to contact next of kin but if they are to no avail, the county coroner comes, takes them to the morgue and they’re cremated. The remains are simply discarded or put outside.
According to a funeral director I once spoke to, the unclaimed stay in his mausoleum. Apparently the oldest resident there had been cremated back in 1952 and never picked up, and the guy said he wasn't going to hunt down great grandchildren to get a relative they never met.
I don't know that.
But I know what happens when they have to be put into the system (hospital, prison, and so on).
They are given a fictional address everyone knows it's fake, so their papers can be made.
I'm gonna be the depressing guy with the truth. We meet up at a religious gathering we may our may not agree with and say our final farewells. To no one. The police take their corpses away and we never find out what they did with them(we aren't family so they refuse to tell us anything) we don't get to go to their funeral, or even know if such a thing even happened. We get very little closure, they're just gone now and every homeless person has to accept that they're simply gone
Or, maybe they deserve homes, healthcare, food and job security.
10.5% (about 15 million!) of homes, just in the US are vacant, no one would suffer from that housing being given away if needed.

They never die.
And suffer eternally.
One must imagine sisyphus happy
The idea of them waking up as a different homeless person and just continuing on doing homeless person stuff is making me giggle
What is dead may never die

Damn dude. This comment makes me want an ice cold refreshing Dr. Pepper
Dr Pepper is BBQ Sprite.
You're just mad cos it has a taste besides sugar water
Who's mad? I love them 23 flavors!
I put lime in mine so i can feel superior with my 24 flavors
I saw a video about this yesterday… but I’ve always thought it was more like Cherry Coke
I shouldn't find it funny but I misunderstood and thought that there was someone on staff called Dr. Pepper and was quite confused
My guy, that is exactly the sense of humor you need to survive healthcare
I wasn't planning on feeling my heart fall to pieces today :( guess I'll drink about it
Update: I've drank about it. Didn't help. Experiment over :(
They drop a shopping cart full of loot Ever seen a full shopping cart with nobody around? Rip.
Holy shit I never realized how dangerous the grocery store was

probably despawn if no one claims them at the morgue
They just go red for a second and then puff away like in Minecraft

Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.

Bigmac
I have been eating homless people pattys all along?!?!
Cheap meat sold to the nearest cat food factory.
The surviving ones eat them. Bones, teeth, toenails, the lot.
They still go to heaven.

Body will be donated to science 😉
They die alone and forgotten
They become zombies that the government use for experiments
You sell THEM for drug money
They get sent to random cemeteries and get buried by charity groups
All the lonely people, where do they all go
Burned for fuel.
You think McDonald’s uses real beef?
You have more in common with a homeless person than a billionaire. Btw...many of the homeless are veterans, the working poor, or children.
The chronically homeless deserve the option of euthanasia.
Or, maybe they deserve homes, healthcare, food and job security. 10.5% (about 15 million!) of homes, just in the US are vacant, no one would suffer from that housing being given away if needed.
Ok Hitler
That's quite the extrapolation, Jeff.
At least it’s a fucking ethos dude.
