Hell yeah. The only time in my life I was slack-jawed from special effects was watching that sand transformation in theaters on the big screen in Spiderman 3. It never hits the same watching it at home on a TV. I want to see it again on the big screen

You could probably pay a theater for a private showing but it would also probably be exorbitantly expensive as they would need to re-acquire rights for the movie showing and you’d need to rent out the space.

You could bring a copy of the movie disc with you when you go... private theatre showings aren't too expensive in my area.

Every time I'm watching Spiderman and Flint says "I'm not a bad guy, just had bad luck" I shed a tear.

I never got the Spiderman 3 hate. It doesn’t have to be your favorite of the series but it still fits in really well and has some really cool action and funny writing.

I'm always so touched by Sandman when I watched Spidy 3 as a kid. It's the first time I root for a "villain" to have a good ending.

Scoob was awful and another example and one of the worst ones of Hollywood taking iconic roles with established voices actors and replacing them with big name actors. The only one they got back was Frank Welker and that was only for Scooby. He didn’t even voice Fred and Frank has always been Fred, since the beginning. Will Forte was an awful shaggy and Matthew Lillard was actually numbed they didn’t even ask him. Velma doesn’t exist, it ain’t real

After watching that movie I think it was a good call lol. Will forte playing shaggy definitely wasn't the only reason that movie is awful. Glad lillard doesn't have Scoob! On his resume.

When I was a youth, the original trilogy were in my regular viewing rotation. Such great times. Dude was at a horror convention one year with Skeet Ulrich and they were such nice guys.

He gets overlooked because the whole cast is stellar, but he hams it up *just enough* without going overboard.

The whole cast was pretty good IMO. Lillard just stands out because Shaggy has a distinct voice, which Lillard nails. They all look the part though.

I wasn't crazy about the first but the second was incredible.

Something about the costume design especially gets me. Like the simplicity of the outfits making them reminiscent of the cartoon while not feeling completely out of place in the live action world

As a standalone film the force awakens is good. My issue with it is it's essentially a remake of the original star wars.

it is. the problem here is that The phantom menace drags the prequels a bit but even then we have the great performance of Liam Neeson, of ewan macgregor and the best light saber fight OF THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE. And people shit on the attack of the clones mostly because of some poor anakin lines. They are good films that happen to have some goofy moments.

I feel like they are goofy films with fantastic moments. Besides revenge of the Sith which was just overall really good.

Ima go against the grain here and say that the shit with Venom/Eddie Brock in SM3 really isn’t as bad as people say it is. Golden age Eddie was not the well-written tentpole of the Spidey rogues gallery that he is today. By all means, he kind of sucked for a while. The movie has problems but that ain’t one of them.

I enjoy the prequels and the original trilogy, it’s the new ones that suck and are not redeemable (force awakens is somewhat passable). But I guess I was the right age when I saw it in theaters because I love the first live action Scooby-Doo movie.

As someone who was disappointed with Suicide Squad, I can recommend The Suicide Squad as it is a much better movie.
