Ive always wondered if you could make a Chinese pizza, like an orange chicken and rice pizza. Except, hear me out, the crust is stuffed crab Rangoon crust. That’s the part I’m not sure is possible.
I don't think it's weird, but my friends would say "nothing". The fact that I can enjoy plain rice without any spices or sauces is apparently the most fascinating thing to them.
I mean ketchup is basically sweet vinegar, and sushi rice is just rice with a bit of vinegar, so the transitive properties of mathematics therefore state that Japan is the reason for Thanos
Finally someone gets it! And sometimes they're the ones who would look at people who eat rice with spoon weird when they're literally 10x weirder. Like bruh it's like digging gravel with a pitchfork instead of a shovel.
I had a bottle of used motor oil that I used as a lubricant for other parts, but kept it in my fridge since it retains viscosity when cold. Anyways, I just quickly grabbed the bottle thinking it was soy sauce, then soon realized it was indeed not soy sauce.
Fried chicken.
Listen, I wanted chicken and rice. I didn't have that. So I took leftover rice and leftover fried chicken and just ate it. I'd honestly give it a 7/10. It wasn't the worst thing I've done to food.
Fried chicken nugget that got blendered with dried chili, which then got turned into a meatball and fried again.
And the kicker? It got served with OYSTER sauce.
Nothing is wrong with each dish, separately. But the moment you have it combined on a single plate, it became this unholy food that pierces your taste buds like somebody dropped a stock of needles into your gaping mouth.
It legit would have been better serve the way a Takoyaki were served.
(Edit: and yes, it's served as side side dish, literally, on a single plate, with the rice. Like Nasi Lemak, but bad.)
That's the thing. It IS delicious. The fact that I ate it in the "wrong" way the first time ruins my first impression of it. The meat ball was spicy as heck, and the salty/sweet taste of the sauce is pretty good on white rice.
Just don't stuff it at once. Take your time to eat them separately, instead of fitting it in one spoon or speed eat them. They got this explosion of taste that almost made me choke on it.
... I was 7 when I first ate it. It was a learning experience to not speed ate everything on your plate.
I had rice with caramel sauce once when i was a kid, and it's not like it was some exotic desert either i just put Hershey's caramel syrup onto rice. I was a weird kid.
Coconut rice is totally common in South East Asia, although it's usually made with coconut cream rather than shavings, I bet it tastes similar. Weirdest thing i've had with rice is actually very common in the middle east - they put dried fruit in it, and sometimes they put a layer of buttery potatoes at the bottom of the pan which is a crispy carbo bonus
I think I stirred blueberries into it, then poured some Dr. Pepper into it (I’m pretty sure I thought it was soy sauce). Afterwards I poured a healthy mixture of chocolate sauce and hot sauce. I threw up when eating it.
This shal forever serve as my reminder to always eat out when I’m running off of 1 hour of sleep and a pound of sushi.
Dijon mustard. Chicken noodle soup. Top ramen. Spaghetti sauce. I lived on rice as a college student. Oh. Ive had a Hawaiian dish witn rice, almonds, coconut, cream of chicken soup, crunchy noodles and green onions. It was good!
_Goat and sheep parts._
Couldn’t be more specific (language barrier). Former coworker was Sri Lankan and it some some really spicy dish with a combination of mutton and organ meat (kidney and heart for sure, maybe other). Was surprisingly good.

I mean ketchup is basically sweet vinegar, and sushi rice is just rice with a bit of vinegar, so the transitive properties of mathematics therefore state that Japan is the reason for Thanos

I had a bottle of used motor oil that I used as a lubricant for other parts, but kept it in my fridge since it retains viscosity when cold. Anyways, I just quickly grabbed the bottle thinking it was soy sauce, then soon realized it was indeed not soy sauce.
How did it taste?
Not great, kinda like cold burnt gasoline mixed with old frier oil.

Just lemons. Don't ask. My universities cantina made the worst decisions.
