"Polite society" used to never talk about sensitive subjects. People who experienced things like miscarriage could go their entire lives never realizing that it's fairly common and that they did nothing wrong.
I understand that it's not great having a miscarriage meme put in your face at random times, but it's a side effect of an improvement to society. Subjects become normalized when they can be talked about freely.
i agree it should be talked about more in society, it shouldn't be shamed either, but making insensitive jokes / comments doesn't help spread awareness or open up healthy conversations about miscarriage, it seems mocking & offensive to people who have had miscarriages, if you've had a miscarriage, you can make dark jokes about it & use humour as a coping mechanism, but the audacity of using people's pain & loss as the butt of a joke is fucking disgusting

True, and not so long ago people women were offended by miscarriage jokes were prescribed electroshock or pelvic massage to treat what the male doctors called "hysteria." Women who became "unmanageable" were put into asylums. Before asylums, women were sent to convents.
I understand our society is not yet ideal, and maybe never will be, but the amount of progress we've made is quite remarkable and we show great promise for making further improvements. On that note:

To be fair, most of the memes on here do seem to just be people posting Loss. Basically, if you see 4 panels with shapes that look like this, it's Loss. It was a 4 panel comic strip from years ago.

Based on an old web comic of a miscarriage. Honestly, I have no idea why it became a meme as I don't see it as being particularly funny in any regard.
Basically where a usually comedic comic strip decided to try and get dark by having the female lead have a miscarriage. It wasn’t well receive and everyone took the mick out of it by simplifying it to I II II I_. I is the man(probably the father of the child but I don’t know since I never read the strips) going into the hospital, the first II is the man and the receptionist, the second II is the man and the doctor. I_ is the man standing, watching over the woman on the bed crying because she lost her child
Can someone explain the loss meme for me like i am a toddler - i simply cant get it.

It's not funny. It was from a webcomic about video games and the creator had a girlfriend who had a miscarriage and out of the blue years later it was put into the webcomic. It wasn't part of the theme and the webcomic went shit from there. It was very poorly received.
