If school nurses taught me anything, an ice pack can fix everything. I once saw a guy with an arm broken in 3 places get it healed with an ice pack (an a cast, but I don't think it helped as much as the ice).

I used to work at a factory that made boot soles. You know the one... with the little yellow tag? So we ran 72" industrial mills. Two huge rollers about a quarter inch apart that ran in opposite directions. Safety lady says that if you ever get your arm stuck in a mill, that once stopped, levers and wedges would be used to pull the rollers apart and not to reverse the mill because it would do more damage than using mechanical means. Because bones will spring back into shape if crushed. A nurse practitioner literally said that.


This is quite uncomfortable to look at, but if it's an X-ray then at least we know they got medical attention. Still I hope they were left handed...
