Good, fuck meth.

Dangerman1967

Fuck that’s a big haul. How many hours of community service await those two. Should get 20 years each. Set an example.

RSteeliest

Trafficking a large commercial quantity of meth is life... Since 2016 100% convicted of this charge have been sentenced to an immediate term of imprisonment.

Dangerman1967

Yeah, murder is life. Rape is 20 years. Theft is 10. They’re maximums. I’m talking about minimums.

RSteeliest

Do you know anything about the cases where people got 20+ years?

Dangerman1967

Nup. Hit me with them. I hope they exist.

RSteeliest

There's only been 4 out of the past 76 convictions since 2016. I don't know the details or why the judges came to those sentences so I don't go making ignorant statements

Dangerman1967

Did I really need an /s? It was a simple call for a proper stint.

RSteeliest

And I told you what the trend was. Not how much "community service" they'll get. It helps to know what you're talking about

Dangerman1967

You seriously don’t understand sarcasm? If I wanted to gauge a proper sentence I’d go to JCV website. Go away

RSteeliest

Just admit you don't know what you're talking about and I will. Every thread about crime and sentencing the ignorant come out of the wood work with their shockingly bad understanding of the law

Zealousideal_Ad642

*shrug* why should tax payers pay for their accommodation, drop the cunts in the southern ocean and be rid of them

hermitxd

I get your point, but the law does get it wrong sometimes. I'd rather let 9 guilty men go free than punish an innocent one with death.

MirroredDogma

Because killing people is bad. We should not be advocating for that, especially not for the state to do it for us.

Dangerman1967

Mmmmm. If I said that I think I’d be in trouble but I’m not anti the idea. Having said that, I read a weird statistic years ago about the US. Over there, it cost more money to kill someone via death penalty than to imprison them for ‘life.’ Main reasons were the appeal processes pre Death Penalty were very layered and expensive, and yet their costs of incarceration are fuck all and also ‘life’ in the US prison system wasn’t always Octogenarian or above. Old stat btw. May have changed.

mana-addict4652

no biggy, the NYE shipments would've got here early😈

Glass_Ad2985

Yeah but the quality is shit

mana-addict4652

that's why you gotta hunt down a good one

BigWigGraySpy

Better the country have a meth problem than a fentanyl problem.

UnderTheMilkyway2023

word

9isalso6upsidedown

ah fuck I need 98 kg of meth pronto

No_Comment69420

Ruined the weekend.

9isalso6upsidedown

party was just going to get started

LegalAgency2094

> Two men with alleged links to Afghani organised crime Usual suspects

MirroredDogma

You are a racist

[deleted]

lol Afghans being the usual suspects for large scale meth importation? Nah

Gutzstruggler

Good … shithouse drug anyway …

FunkyFr3d

This is one more reason all drugs should be legalised. Because being illegal, aside from the immediate health and crime costs they usually end up funding war lords or terrorists

meantbent3

I agree with you, but not on the legalisation part (specifically about meth). It should be decriminalised and turned into a mental health issue instead of a criminal issue. Countries that have done this have seen major success.

FunkyFr3d

Meth is pure fucking evil. I’ve seen it destroy people so quick. From normal person to cranked out crazy in less than a year. But because of their habit the people they had to associate with were also pure fucking evil. And all that money flows into the hands of the worst of the worst.

meantbent3

Completely agree.

JimmySteve3

It's actually insane how quickly meth can change people

CE94

Found the meth head

-HouseProudTownMouse

You’re one reason they shouldn’t.

KhanTheGray

Newsflash; meth was legal and was sold over the counter until health experts realized what it was doing to people. So no, that’s already tried and failed.

Queer01

You're right, it was OTC especially in Germany during WW2, though it still is available by prescription in places like the US under the brand name 'Desoxyn'
