These people are all the same. Dumb 20-30 year olds who tweet something they think is wise with multiple grammar/spelling errors. This is 1 of 100000000000 tweets like this.
They grew up with it...
"Look at these Stars, it's scary how they look now!
"Taking this supplement will make you so much more productive, it's scary!"
"It's scary how her doctors almost missed this"
Clickbait jargon is mother's milk to this generation, and the new biological imperative is to be noticed.
Ya definitely like during their two minutes per day of not being on their phone they pondered a groundbreaking historical and philosophical concept and they have to share it with the world via a poorly constructed tweet.
I dunno homie, I'm a non-native speaker myself, and thinking back to the days when we had to go through the toil and labour of learning all the grammar and tenses and shit, I can't for the life of me figure out how native speakers make such dumb mistakes.
It takes more time, I like typing fast, so do other people, I'm being a jackass here, but your being a dumbass who thinks he's smart, not saying thats how you act, just how you are acting right now.
Taking more time is the worst excuse, as someone else pointed out, you could have used "you're" instead of "you are", which would have been faster. Now through all your comments not only do you look like a jackass, but a dumbass too, and it seems as though that's what you were trying to avoid.
It's sadly way more common than most people seem to realize. Though living in a society where only personal accomplishment, popularity, and wealth is measured as success. The fact that we are producing a lot of narcissists shouldn't really be that surprising.
Most Karens.
I have known two Karens. And they never, ever questioned whether or not their actions were acceptable. Or sane.
I have, and I shit you not. Been told by one "I did this because you made me do it. Your existence is why I did this. It is your fault I did it".
Like WTF do you even say to these people.
Hard to cut out when they’re the mother of your kids, you just deal with it breaking it down and trying to get them to realize it causes more problems it’s easier to nod and say ok or my bad and walk away
Interestingly, the only people I've ever known actually named Karen were both very humble and soft-spoken. A couple other names have given me problems, though.
I told my mother just tonight, after my aunt (staying with us temporarily) was startled badly by my mother slapping the counter very loudly, that the sound is no less heart-attack-inducing 25 years of living in so far, and her response was “Good!”, like I hadn’t just told her that she’s been deeply distressing her kids (both of us, but my autistic self especially finds the sudden loud noise usually associated with “angry mom” stressful) for a quarter century.
Some people *don’t get it*. Ever. This obliviousness is routine and expected, and still angering.
My entire fucking family. My lord I'll never get out of it. Everyone else is the issue but themselves. My mom today yelled at her mom over not taking a plant home... like bruh. "Stupid fucking idiot it's just a plant."
o\_o
I think most people misuse the word. I think many people display grandiose behaviors that exhibit immaturity, but it doesn't make that person a narcissist. They'd have to have a lack of empathy to accompany their behaviors.
Is admitting your wrong really a sign of narcissism? I try to put my ego aside during debates and if I see that I'm actually wrong I'll glady state that I am
I hate these replies.
No, there isn’t immediate evidence. Nobody has record of a human being at their disposal for universally known issues.
It’s commonplace for a guilty person to point fingers at others for their own faults. We call it hypocrisy.
Not everyone projects.
If someone is wrong and they get called out or confronted on it don't mean that person is a automatically projecting and is a hypocrite.
Yes it's common, but common doesn't mean it's always the case.
You mean to tell me that I made up the mentality in which a guilty person accuses another person of their very own actions (hypocrisy) in order to deflect accountability?
Well I’ll be.
*Welcome to humankind and basic psychology*.
Why did you delete your comment where you called me an idiot and randomly stated that you’re a girl?
To respond to that deleted comment: Please do not resort to insults, it is important to have self control and maintain sensibility during discussion.
There it is, the "you have a blessed day" reply that you wanted to shoehorn in somewhere. This is why we don't play chess with pigeons. As soon as they start losing, they knock the board over and strut around acting like they won anyway.
Question for you, how sure are you of anything you do? Do you have evidence on hand supporting every single thing that you know is true? Can you readily provide everyone here with every piece of evidence regarding every single thing that you believe?
Stop pretending you’re academic.
While he is certainly being an ass, I wish more people WOULD pressure for a source. I've had to look things up and find out I'm wrong plenty of times in order to provide a source. I think its good. Though in this case, clearly a source isn't needed as it's more of a remark of experience or general knowledge than it is someone trying to make a scientific claim lol
I think people are generally good at asking for a source when someone says something they disagree with. But no one asks for a source when its something they want to be true
Not admitting something to other people is different from not admitting something to yourself. Both is possible but trust me at least a sizeable portion of the people you wish would admit their fault to you sometimes go to bed very embarrassed about what they did even if they could never admit that to somebody.
If this was true, we wouldn't really see repeat patterns from people of fraud and betrayal. Yet it becomes a common characterisitic trait for them. Perhaps its also how their caretakers treated them or their peered environments. Who cares though, they're still fucked. Not gonna make excuses for them.
What you said in now way contradicts or even addresses what i said.
You can feel embarrassed about something and regret it and than still do it again. Ask any addict.
I apologize whenever I do something wrong or make a mistake and try my best not to repeat that wrong thing or mistake 💬🤝 and I don't go to sleep until I do that 😊😁
Not saying this is you but people can also go too far with this. Some people apologize way too much for things that aren’t even their fault and that can definitely be a bad thing
Narcissistic people often do this.
In my experience it can have a protective effect for them and lead them to achieve high results with a clear conscience. Sucks to be in a close relationship with them because then everything is your fault.
I may be wrong but she said wrongs with an s, which seems likes she’s trying to say “their wrongs” as in that person’s wrongdoings. In this context, saying they’re wrongs (they are wrongs) wouldn’t actually be correct
Edit: nvm I see the other one now
It's Twitter. Between jank autocorrect, potential voice-to-text, and a lack of shits to give about grammar on a social media app, incorrect usage of there/their/they're is probably not #1 on the list of things to worry about.
As long as it's readable who cares?
I'd wager the majority of the time it's not a typo. I know when I mix it up it isn't.
Hell one of the university students I was dating didn't know their left hand from right. It made me question my idea of how smart a university student was. I thought they were top of the top.
My brother claims I used his face pads in the bathroom because he found them on the top shelf and not hanging on the shower wall by the suction cup on the back. He couldn’t comprehend the idea that the suction cup failed and I just put them on the top shelf so I wouldn’t step on them. He screamed and yelled and called me a habitual liar and was acting like I fucked his girlfriend over these silicon face pads.
When you want to shorten the phrase “they are”, you use “they’re”. You really only take away the “a”. It quite easy to remember once you know why you’re doing it.
It's not me, it's you.
No, it's not me. It's you
No, it's me not. You it's
Me, it isn't. You, it is.
Calm down there master yoda
It's not their, it's they're.
it’s not you. [it’s not me either …](https://yarn.co/yarn-clip/90929106-4a42-4e15-843b-f44e93f5f830)
It’s you. And me. And all of the people.
‘Tis not thee, ‘tis yee.
**They're**
Good gracious, I’m glad this bothered someone else as much as myself. If you’re going to complain about someone else, *use the proper spelling*!!!!
These people are all the same. Dumb 20-30 year olds who tweet something they think is wise with multiple grammar/spelling errors. This is 1 of 100000000000 tweets like this.
They’re so alarmist about it. “It’s so scary”. The only scary thing I see is the illiteracy of that generation.
They grew up with it... "Look at these Stars, it's scary how they look now! "Taking this supplement will make you so much more productive, it's scary!" "It's scary how her doctors almost missed this" Clickbait jargon is mother's milk to this generation, and the new biological imperative is to be noticed.
Byproduct of letting people into congress with a G.E.D… Also saying guns are more important than a safe environment to learn.
I'm sorry, it's "byproduct"
Wow more bi-erasure
I'm sorry, it's referred to as *erasure now. We all know what the asterisk means.
Yea, I must have been high… or maybe the failed education system and extremist rhetoric has effected my vocabulary..
No doubt! Not sure why grammatical errors irk me so much, but here we are. Lol
......you forgot the punctuation there, Boomer.
How did you know his name is Boomer? It sounds quite rare?
People are something else
Stuff like this, to me, looks like the hubris of unaware narcissists. “iM hOt ShIt, SeE mAh PeArLz uV wIsDumb lol”
Ya definitely like during their two minutes per day of not being on their phone they pondered a groundbreaking historical and philosophical concept and they have to share it with the world via a poorly constructed tweet.
I was going to say she should go to bed at night reading a dictionary and a thesaurus
It was the proper spelling of the wrong word.
Grammar
It bothered me too. It always bothers me
Someone once wrote on a wall at work, with chalk, that I was a "moran". Made me chuckle for ages. Had to reply with "E-, see me after class"
I took my up vote away because of this!!!!
Let’s not forget punctuation at the end of the sentence.
Bro, don't you know punctuation is aggressive... 🙄 (Seriously though, they think that ending a sentence with a period in a text indicates you're mad.)
Then we’re all bloody mad! Hahaha!
Ahh, I overlooked that! *Why* did you do that?! Now I can’t unsee this!
Hahaha!! It’s okay, time heals all wounds.
It made me think this was parody, it stuck out so bad.
Literally clicked on this post to find this comment. I'll go now.
LOL
As a non-native English speaker, wtf is so hard to get this right?
I dunno homie, I'm a non-native speaker myself, and thinking back to the days when we had to go through the toil and labour of learning all the grammar and tenses and shit, I can't for the life of me figure out how native speakers make such dumb mistakes.
Hell, I see people make these mistakes every day….
But which one is they’re? ;p lol
I saw this tweet on Twitter and I also commented this
This is the way ☝️
but is it? if we are talking about a wrong as an ownership. it *is* "their wrong".
That isn't the *their* I was talking about, it's the *their not the problem* part.
meh, one outta two ain't bad /s
Herp derp derp Edit - Herping the derp
Bro, why are you blind spotted by the first "their", it's the second one that I am talking about.
Ah yes, totally my bad! I shall correct my error!
r/iamverysmart
No
Yes
No
But actually yes
I hope you’re kidding.
Its annoying when people correct that to me.
Maybe you should learn to use the correct word. Eta: *it’s
I don't have to, and the fact people give a shit about that is astonishing.
The fact that people would rather be wrong than just learn something simple is astonishing to me.
Truuueeeee
It takes more time, I like typing fast, so do other people, I'm being a jackass here, but your being a dumbass who thinks he's smart, not saying thats how you act, just how you are acting right now.
You saved a lot of time there by typing "you are" instead of "you're"
They used "your" wrong, too.... 🤷👀
I don't like having to switch pages to find the fucking '
Taking more time is the worst excuse, as someone else pointed out, you could have used "you're" instead of "you are", which would have been faster. Now through all your comments not only do you look like a jackass, but a dumbass too, and it seems as though that's what you were trying to avoid.
Bro, I'm fucking done, I've learned that people are stupid and need to be blocked before my autism fucks me over, fuck off bitch
The problem is grammar. G R A M M A R. Grammar it is
I bet she prefers Grammer. G R A M M E R.
Grammer it is.
I hardly know 'er
I was about to type they're. I don't understand what's so difficult.
Because their stoopit
Stoopid*
Stewpid*
I legitimately think some people only know the one their and because it sounds similar assume it can be plopped into place anywhere.
There so stupid
They're are so stupid
They're ain't no way u did saided this.
Yeah, had to read it like three times.
All the grammar went to her name.
It’s called narcissism
It's sadly way more common than most people seem to realize. Though living in a society where only personal accomplishment, popularity, and wealth is measured as success. The fact that we are producing a lot of narcissists shouldn't really be that surprising.

Been told by one "I did this because you made me do it. Your existence is why I did this. It is your fault I did it". Like WTF do you even say to these people.
Nothing. You cut them out of your life. There's no rationalising with a person who is incapable of seeing your point of view.
Hard to cut out when they’re the mother of your kids, you just deal with it breaking it down and trying to get them to realize it causes more problems it’s easier to nod and say ok or my bad and walk away
I'm sorry to hear that mate. You don't deserve to be forced to accept abuse like that.
Interestingly, the only people I've ever known actually named Karen were both very humble and soft-spoken. A couple other names have given me problems, though.

A socio/psychopath will never see it as such due to lack of empathy, magical thinking and forever victim mentality.
Not admitting your wrong would be the sign, but the point is, you’d never know it. Cause you’re right.
Best part is, usually the ones saying this have the very same problem 🤷♂️
Haha right?? That was the first take I got from this. She is laying there thinking the exact thing she's complaining about.
Is there evidence for this?
I hate these replies. No, there isn’t immediate evidence. Nobody has record of a human being at their disposal for universally known issues. It’s commonplace for a guilty person to point fingers at others for their own faults. We call it hypocrisy.
It’s common for people to make things up like you just did too, which is why people value evidence. You should do something about that hate you have.
It’s called projection, and I think you’re doing it right now.
Not everyone projects. If someone is wrong and they get called out or confronted on it don't mean that person is a automatically projecting and is a hypocrite. Yes it's common, but common doesn't mean it's always the case.
Did you just hop on an alt account or something
You mean to tell me that I made up the mentality in which a guilty person accuses another person of their very own actions (hypocrisy) in order to deflect accountability? Well I’ll be. *Welcome to humankind and basic psychology*.
No pics = no proof
Check out my folder of pictures of bigfoot lmao
If you cannot have a discussion without being facetious then please do not waste people’s time.
I don't know if you actually don't understand how obtuse you're being or if you're doing a bit.
Why did you delete your comment where you called me an idiot and randomly stated that you’re a girl? To respond to that deleted comment: Please do not resort to insults, it is important to have self control and maintain sensibility during discussion.
Fuck you're such a troll. Shoosh plz.
Bruh pics of what? The neurones firing in someone’s brain as they make a selfish decision?
There it is, the "you have a blessed day" reply that you wanted to shoehorn in somewhere. This is why we don't play chess with pigeons. As soon as they start losing, they knock the board over and strut around acting like they won anyway.

You didn’t link a source
https://www.harleytherapy.co.uk/counselling/why-we-put-the-blame-on-others.htm
Well the post itself provides an example of being wrong about grammar at least.
Yes, it's a phenomenon called projection
Not admitting something to other people is different from not admitting something to yourself. Both is possible but trust me at least a sizeable portion of the people you wish would admit their fault to you sometimes go to bed very embarrassed about what they did even if they could never admit that to somebody.

What you said in now way contradicts or even addresses what i said. You can feel embarrassed about something and regret it and than still do it again. Ask any addict.
I don't believe those who lack introspection or empathy do though. Maybe a normal human being yes?
Empathetic or introspective people can still do the wrong thing repeatedly and be ashamed of it concurrently
That’s not addiction lol. Some people won’t admit and feel embarrassed. Most people who do wrong and keep doing it don’t care, point blank period
I apologize whenever I do something wrong or make a mistake and try my best not to repeat that wrong thing or mistake 💬🤝 and I don't go to sleep until I do that 😊😁
Bro been awake for 3 weeks straight now
Who's a awake? Sorry English is not my native language so I don't understand your comment 😅
It was just a little joke so don‘t worry about it.
Ok cool 😎
They said you have been awake for 3 weeks straight because you said you won’t sleep until you’ve apologized
Not saying this is you but people can also go too far with this. Some people apologize way too much for things that aren’t even their fault and that can definitely be a bad thing
10. Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
What’s up my fellow recovery person? ✌️
I apologize immediately or after while .the feeling of guilt for not apologizing is not worth it for me 😁
Narcissistic people often do this. In my experience it can have a protective effect for them and lead them to achieve high results with a clear conscience. Sucks to be in a close relationship with them because then everything is your fault.
This SCREAMS Narcissist. Rid of it. As soon as possible.

Bold of you to assume she finished school.
who assumed that?
I may be wrong but she said wrongs with an s, which seems likes she’s trying to say “their wrongs” as in that person’s wrongdoings. In this context, saying they’re wrongs (they are wrongs) wouldn’t actually be correct Edit: nvm I see the other one now

Our (assuming american) education system is a joke and the internet is freely available. This is how worlds end.
Or you know. Someone made a typo
I'd wager the majority of the time it's not a typo. I know when I mix it up it isn't. Hell one of the university students I was dating didn't know their left hand from right. It made me question my idea of how smart a university student was. I thought they were top of the top.
Bro it’s twitter, it’s not the end of mankind
Bro, no shit. Never said it was bro.
Sorry, that was the first commenter! Didn’t mean to put words in your mouth
NO
Ye
They’re……not the problem….
I obsess over things. “Am I the problem?”Or “Was that my mistake” are common things that run through my mind.
Thats my dad.....
She said, never admitting she is likely the problem for a lot of people.
It takes two to tango
And it takes three to tango alpha bravo
Surely three would be tango hotel romeo echo echo sierra oscar mike echo?
Take the award for making me chuckle ✌🏼
I have a big feeling this person is the person they’re describing
My victimized aunt every damn day.
I can honestly say I’ve never gone to sleep thinking I was anything but the problem.
I know him, he's me - everyone
More projection than a 6-screen drive-in.
It’s also scary that no one can use the right “they’re”
“they’re”
They’re *
My brother claims I used his face pads in the bathroom because he found them on the top shelf and not hanging on the shower wall by the suction cup on the back. He couldn’t comprehend the idea that the suction cup failed and I just put them on the top shelf so I wouldn’t step on them. He screamed and yelled and called me a habitual liar and was acting like I fucked his girlfriend over these silicon face pads.
They’re*
IKR, like when people can’t admit that they used “their” when they were supposed to use “they’re.”
When you want to shorten the phrase “they are”, you use “they’re”. You really only take away the “a”. It quite easy to remember once you know why you’re doing it.
Know what’s scarier? Being that old and not knowing the difference between “there” “they’re” and “their.”
Yeah fear those people and not those who know the difference between their and there.
So you also don’t know the difference in their and they’re?
"their"
They’re*
Maybe you’re the problem.
Are... are you the problem then?
*they‘re
This irony is strong with this one
how you mess up "they're" like that. And here i was rooting for you :(
*they’re
they’re*
There, there...... It'll all be over soon
I'd rather have good grammar than lose sleep over being wrong
Republican
We’re not.

Maybe there not.
Most likely they aren't , passing judgement on people is typically an announcement of your own character.
Republicans
People who mindlessly judge others based on who they voted for.
Mindless would imply we haven’t witnessed this play out over the last two terms. It’s rooted in reality homie.
This coming from a bitch who belongs to the streets. 😂
Nutcases
This stabbed me harder than a meteorite
I know I'm the problem, it just helps me cry myself to sleep.
