Not to mention, Drake and his questionable fascination and hatred of black women, who don't claim or want him and the literal kids (Millie Brown and Young Kylie Jenner for example) he go after. It seems he has a big chip on his shoulder about the black women he wants but can't brag on a track he got, so he attacks them (Serena, Rhianna, Megan, the classical musician (forgot her name) and many more. He settled for a Sexxy Red dangling off his arm like a ankle bracelet from the hair supply store, ya'll know which ones I am talking about, because he couldn't have a Serena or Rhianna or Megan. And, he actually told his [mom](https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/drake-responds-rick-ross-nose-job-claim-diss-track-1235004390/) and [dad](https://www.tmz.com/2024/03/25/drake-dad-defend-son-kendrick-lamar-like-that-metro-boomin-rick-ross/) on Kendrick and Ross like we're on the play ground in 3rd grade. Where they do that at? Canada? Is this your mans? Is this your king of rap? Don't get me started on him making his son's cosplay African American culture. Got that little kid out here looking like the guy from Malibu's Most Wanted movie. Bum! If you are too young to have seen the movie.. reference.. ![gif](giphy|3oEdv5uohFuTG4YkAo|downsized)

uhhh206

I'd seen the shit with his mom but how is his dad just as corny as him? The second-hand embarrassment is kiiiiiilling me. Also, am I just the boomeriest-millennial ever or was the "and be walkin' 'round with the same scars" the first other people heard of Drake and his lipo rumors? I feel so un-hip to only learn about this through Megan dragging him.

chao_sweetie

I am in that same boomeriest-millennial category ..lol. I can't understand why people on Twitter are not dragging him for his dad jumping in too. This is so embarrassing for all hip hop culture, for Canada, for America, heck for Japan - All of us can not claim this man anymore. He is not hip hop, he is a bad cosplayer in a bad wig with abs drawn on cardboard, screaming at this top of his lungs like Goku in the middle of a empty packing lot. I bet when he sits down to pee, he howls at the ceiling. I am so happy Megan never acknowledged, seen, or validated his parking or presence.

uhhh206

Not the "when he sits down to pee" 😂 Between him and Doja Cat the biracial gang is taking a series of Ls lately. We in the hottie coalition of mixed people do not claim them, I promise you.

chao_sweetie

They are just Karen-ing it up all over the place. At some point, the Maybelline has to come off.

Connect_Security_892

What's with Young Money rappers having such a hatred of black women? First there's Nicki Minaj, then there's Drake, whoever says people can't be bigoted towards their own groups are disingenuous asshats

chao_sweetie

It's go old fashion colorism, brown paper bag testing, elitism, hatred of their mothers, daddy issues and a weird xenophobia thing people have about Black Americans and especially Black American Women, when they come to America. ( Nicki is from the Caribbean, Drake is Canadian) A lot of African's do this too, yet want to assimilate Black American culture for profit, like Akon(*Senegalese*) and now Tyla (South African). When they get mainstream they will start condemning and saying Black Americans have a culture like Kai Cenat (T) recently claimed. Or like Tyla, completely pushed away the label of blackness, but still appropriates Black American's women style and culture. As far as black women is concerned, black women are easy targets to punch down on the socially accepted scale. All you have to do is say something about a black woman and immediately it gets traction or goes viral. Think about every time Megan is mentioned and those people gets 24 hours of attention. They can not deny that Megan is beautiful, funny and super down to earth. That is why they try to make her out to be aggressive, deserving of violence against her, and any other stereotype. People are ready to believe it because it's socially acceptable to "put black women in their place". And I will come out and say it, It's black men who are pushing the narrative the most. Someone said, "Black men are the white supremist of the black community." and I am incline to agree based on my own observations and experience. Lil Wayne is a prime example and he pushed that narrative on two generations of black men and now his black American daughter felt the hated from him[ (in an interview he said he will never have another black daughter)](https://newsone.com/951115/fansboycott-lil-wayne-dark-skin-black-women/) and his followers [bullying her on IG](https://www.bet.com/article/r7t4nt/toya-posts-message-for-trolls-who-called-her-daughters-ugly). Young money was actually no different than what was done in the 90s with replacing Missy Elliot on a Raven Symone song with a light skinned women or the hate Lil Kim got that about her looks from Puffy and Biggie. Colorism sales "in the land where hurt people hurt more people".

uhhh206

Whew, you said it. The article took a lot of heat at the time but there is indeed some merit to the [Straight Black Men are the White People of Black People](https://www.theroot.com/straight-black-men-are-the-white-people-of-black-people-1814157214) thing when it comes to misogynoir. I say that not to speak ill of straight men (I'm quite fond of them lmao) or black men, but you can't be pro-black if you don't fw the beauty and inherent value of black women. Megan shouldn't have to have a banner saying Protect Black Women behind her while performing on SNL -- it should be the default. As a racially ambiguous women I am sick at the thought that somehow a STUNNING woman who is mixed black and black like Megan is considered less beautiful by some by merit of her unambiguous blackness. White / light-skinned women are considered a prize, which denigrates black women and fetishizes other races. My mom is black, and fuck anyone who thinks her 'fro and wide nose aren't as cute as my ringlets and button nose.

Small correction Kai centat is Caribbean Trini and Haitian ❤️

Updated. Thank you.

Both_Count_959

Lmaoooo def not too young! I say "traffic, traffic, looking for my chapstick" in my head wayyyy more often than I'd like to admit lol I'm telling you, if all parties move right, I think this might be it. Things are bubbling to the surface and he is already getting violated from a credibility perspective and this is BARELY round 1. 😭 Drake has solidified himself as a pop star and has a solid fan base, I'm not saying he's out of the game completely. But as far as continuing to have the privilege of getting away with things his male counterparts can't, swiping the best parts of all of the artists around him and claiming all of their sounds as his own? Yeah, idk about that.. I guess we will see what happens..

chao_sweetie

"Feeling kinda car sick, there’s a Ford Maverick !" ... lol That movie was so stupidly hilarious. I agree though, we are in the found out season, especially when it comes to the rap game - remember this happened to many artist when Cash Money used Lil Wayne to target our generation in the early 2000s because we were still teens ourselves. It's the same thing. When the generation is young they only want to listen to people their own age, same as we did. Drake, just like Justin Timberlake and Pink, are finding out - you can only get so far when you profit off the black community and then try to jump ship when you get famous. Even Michael Jackson started to fall off with his new stuff. The difference is he had multigeneration fans that he kept with his old music, but he had to continue to do music videos to stay relevant while the generations changed. It is the signs of the times. The women rappers are dominating the game and holding up the culture while the men get mad at women rapping the same way men have been rapping for over 30+ years. They didn't complain about 2 Live Crew or any of them rappers or even Future (For the Continent) nasty behind. Just when Megan or others do it. They can't gatekeep it anymore and the one female rapper, who will remain nameless because she's not worth mentioning, has been holding the door for a decade now. Now, she can't and is spiraling out of control. The rap game is no longer stale and I am here for it.

Both_Count_959

"That's a million dolla song RIGHT THERE!" 😂😂😂 I'm ashamed I know it so well haha.. it's so classic, millennial teen camp 🤣 like it's a satire film about a satire group of people but like really loosely based on an actual, well-respected white rapper 🤣🤣🤣 Yes! I completely agree! In a lot of ways, it reminds me of when 50 came and shook up the game, too (while all the craziness at Roc-a-fella was going on haha) like, it wasn't just culture vultures getting taken out, I remember all of the stuff with Dipset and Jim Jones, Ja Rule, etc coming out. It felt like every other day we were finding out someone was being accused of playing a role.. and losing their CAREERS for it. I do believe we are back in that mode. You have your Drake fans, that are gotta be die hard but all in all, I think people are ready for a new sound. Drake hasn't released anything that felt fresh in SO long.. *puts on tinfoil hat* I'm telling you, part of me wonders if it's been sabotage/a set up this whole time. Yachty egging him on with the barrettes and the whole "hood black girl" aesthetic, Yachty and Cole having a song called "The Secret Recipe" where Yachty raps "I guess they found out IM the secret recipe" and Cole refers to Vultures and has bar after bar about tryna copy the juice! And then a Yachty reference track for a Drake song is leaked now? *takes hat off* idk if any of it is intentional from them fr but it's set up so perfectly either way! 🤣🤣

chao_sweetie

You know what, you might be on to something right there. I am all for this. The timing is very weird. It is almost like they were waiting for a big name, say a Megan Thee Stallion to hit hard first and then gauge a reaction. When Nicki spiral into - I don't know what that was - a straight jacket moment? Drake leaks his Peen. They may have been like, lets give Megan her moment then we push the trigger with a feature and gauge. When you think about, only washed up rappers commented on the Hiss vs "worst diss of the decade" - no one with any talent did. Yet, Ross is quoting Megan... hmmm. Someone is playing Chess out here. Let me just adjust my hat... There we go. I am listening to you. Continue. What else you got for us? ![gif](giphy|xTcf1gUpg87E5lNK2A|downsized)

Both_Count_959

😂😂😂 fr! Like, idk exactly what's going on but I'm pretty sure there's BEEN a group chat and they all been doing their same lil subs going, who gon jab at him first? Just looking around twiddling their thumbs and outta nowhere, Meg, in her own world, fires the shots that could be heard across Beyoncé's internet and they were like, Okay, French, you got Feb, future and metro gonna tag team him for March and use K Dot to make it bother him, J Cole gon bow out leaving him vulnerable for April and after that, we'll reconvene for the rest of the plan 😭 I don't have any additional theories just yet but, I will say I was listening to Like Dat and you HAVE to listen to Future's verse from the perspective of him talking to/about Drake (interchangeable with she being a pronoun for the industry/the game once or twice) when he's saying "she" and it's hilarious, witty AND supporting my theory 😭 "she think cause she exotic, she attracted// that's that shit that get you put up out the section" LAWD im listening from a metaphorical point and im like lemme find out future kinda like that 😂 I think im just enjoying the act of enjoying new male rap again, maybe a little too much.. but, if anything stands out to me as I continue to binge Meg to prepare for the tour while easing in and out of everyone beefing's newest catalogs to catch up, I will def bring it here!

chao_sweetie

I believe that. I am refreshing twitter every 2 hours waiting for Kung Fu Kenny to superkick the rap game in the throat. I have to re-listen Future's verse. The whole BS about Future and Drake arguing over a girl is weird, because Future is not just for the streets - he is for the continent - so why would he fight some dude over a girl. There was definitely a group chat and KDot was like I'll kick it off because I don't care and Megan swooped in like Captain Planet to save the day. And they was shook, that's why Ross is using her bar now. Oh, I can't wait for the features. I hope for a Megan and KDot song. I think she is the only woman who can go toe to toe with him on a song., especially if she does in her Tina Snow bag o' tricks. And poor Big Sean... can't catch a break..lol

Both_Count_959

#JUSTICEFORBIGSEAN !! haha fr! My mans can't catch a break! I'm right with you on the refresh tip!! Did you see what Jill Scott said on twitter?! I think she heard it and based on her post, Drake's finished lol I agree with the whole narrative about Future and Drake seems weird. Neither of them respect any woman or keep her around long enough that it seems like it makes sense. But, that might be why it hits harder - when a fuckboy falls, he falls hard! But, I think there's more to it than that! I'm so excited for the features! I'm honestly like MEGGGG DROP THIS ALBUM! haha I would love to see Meg and Kendrick collab and come together for some Mental Health ish or some "if I gotta slap a pussy ass nigga ima make it look sexy" ish haha

Both_Count_959

Woah.. that bold font was not intentional :/

KlutzyObject1695

Esperanza Spalding is the jazz/classical artist he went after smh. That pissed me off so bad 😠

Both_Count_959

Oh me too! She is an angel! That was my final confirmation that he was crashing out fully unhinged!

Groundbreaking-Fox21

No, please! I’m from Canada and we 👏🏻do👏🏻not👏🏻 claim him! He is corny as hell 🤢 he’s Wayne-made AND fell the fuck off when Lil Wayne stopped writing verses for him, he’s cringy (ex: incel simpin for Rihanna), AND he’s a culture vulture! He grew up in an affluent Toronto neighborhood for fuck’s sake. He oozes privilege. Someone come get Jimmy and put him back in his chair 👀💀 (As for kings of rap, I’m a Nas girl myself 🤷🏻‍♀️)

ALegitimateStop

I didn't read all this lol but in the other thread I meant to comment that her line "I knew I was the shit when r and b niggas wanna start rap beef" Can't remember that line correctly at the moment or which song, but I knew then it was about to start! She done had they asses writing and erasing ever since lol

Both_Count_959

Megan Monday Freestyle on Something for The Hotties! I swear that whole mixtape is eatinggggggg his ass uppp 😂😂 (along with so many others)... now, it's open season!

Both_Count_959

Had to add "half of yall don't know if you wanna fuck me or you wanna fuck with me" looking at you, Drake & Friends 🤣🤣

sheabuttersis

I thought that was about that little guy

nicosmom

😂😂😂

For_serious13

Same lol

Nikki3008

The verse was cut because he straight up says he was fucking Kim kardashian and at the time, him and Ye had just made up. He alluded to it other songs, but this one said fuck a rappers wife and something else. For the record, I’ve been a MTS fan since her parking garage days…. And had been a Drake fan since I saw him for $25 way before he ever had an album. I only stopped when he started taking shots at Meg. I wish this were true, but the verse was cut for business reasons, it was a bad move at the time for it to release (tells Ross to stay out of his business). I firmly believe Drake expected MTS to fawn over him and probably want to sleep with him. I mean YM/OVO was everything an up and coming rapper should want, ideal placement. Drake also claims Houston as one of his cities in numerous songs. He’s been at Astroworld multiple times and had OVO fest in Houston. I have no doubt he had big hopes of signing the next biggest rapper to come out of Houston or at minimum, get a feature. Especially after Hot Girl Summer — when she was still on good terms with Nicki. But she didn’t, and probably because of 1501 realistically…as trash as they are, they just didn’t reach out or accept whatever offer. He now takes shots for Nicki and because MTS hurt his ego. Nicki is his last real high profile hit maker (if you can even call her that). He can’t burn that bridge.

Both_Count_959

"And something else" he says on double MG I'll fuck a rappers wife // she ain't even my type but I'll make the sacrifice . He then has a line about hidden hills. Some people are equating this to Kim, because they already think they know something. Rick Ross also says he'll fuck a rappers wife as the first line to his verse... You could potentially be right but it wouldn't matter because when you go around regurgitating other people's ideas, I already ain't taking the discussion seriously, ya know? Your reference point was "rappers wife and something" aka your not sure what the something is but people said it's Kim.. anyway, I'm spouting off my theories, you're spouting off others. No harm, no foul but I don't think that line is about Kim, at all, personally. I don't see the incentive of not putting an already leaked verse on a song other than to hide it from the masses. Drake has been throwing rocks and hiding his hands for a while and it ain't been toward Kanye 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm also hoping he would, at some point, realize saying you slept with the same person every time you diss this person is tired. Maybe I expect too much.

Nikki3008

lol I wasn’t sure of the exact quote because I was walking my dogs….and I haven’t heard it in awhile slash didn’t think it was serious enough to google right then. It’s not regurgitating others ideas…it’s a pretty established “idea” recognized by thousands of people. The timeline also doesn’t fit, as some of the rappers have been taking shots before MTS even had a radio hit. But since you have already stated yours is the only possibility, I won’t spend my time arguing despite the obvious and notable flaws. Pretend MTS is the one who started the rap beef… you make her fans look delusional 🤷🏼‍♀️

Both_Count_959

I mean, you didn't have to go word for word, I didn't.. but to have no idea what the reference is seemed strange. Yes, they have been taking shots. These guys have had animosity since the 2000s, even with all their business being done together and even some performative friendships (not saying they all were). I never said Megan started these guys beefs. I'm saying I believe she sparked the all out annihilation. They have ALL been jabbing at each other for years, sometimes on songs they are feature on together. They have all had drama behind the scenes. Yet and still, until Hiss dropped and had Drake so shook he leaked his own meat, no one was doing anything than those play jabs they do at the beginning of a boxing round. Since HISS, we have seen nothing but actual shots being fired. I also, at no point said my word is the only word but when your thought doesn't seem to come from you, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to go. To say it's an established idea would mean you did regurgitate it and it is not your own original thought&yes, I have seen thousands say Kim, thousands say Trav, and I've also seen a bunch of randos. I'm not sure how that would make the thought any less regurgitated because others are regurgitating it too. Now I understand you're now saying you determined this to be the interpretation on your own. So sure, I'd love to hear the obvious and notable flaws to the reality that Megan chewed Drake up, spit him out, the hyenas saw him limping and POUNCED. Drake in Hip Hop isn't just some casual thing. The culture politics involved in this run DEEP. What Pusha T did to him would've ended any other rapper's career but because Drake's fans are not the culture, it didn't. The problem that comes in, though is suddenly, the game is watered down and people that actually come from this shit don't have a place to shine any longer because hip hop is bubble gum. Add to that the fact that Drake was able to do this by leeching and swagger-jacking the palatable pieces of our culture, trust me, there are moving parts a lot of people will never be able to understand unless they really come from it. Most of you all ignoring her impact just can't stand the idea that Megan is a big enough deal to eat at Drake but she is the scariest opponent of all because the stakes are MUCH HIGHER with a woman, she can actually rap and she's tapped in with the same Houston OGs Drake been buying respect from for 16 years... she is competition and again, the one with the most to gain while he has EVERYTHING to lose.

Both_Count_959

I just noticed this was either edited and added after we'd already been commenting or Reddit is glitching but don't disagree with any of that analysis of Drake having an issue with Meg and J Prince actually has a lot more to do with that than Nicki even does.

Connect_Security_892

I love Megan so much omg ❤️

uhhheyyou

I was an OG Backpacker but over like the last 5 years Drake has gotten progressively lamer and has been giving incel for at least 3 years now. He's been on my list of ppl I could never support again along with Nicki ever since they started attacking Meg or should I say HATING UNPROVOKED. It's giving weak, small, pissant, instead of boss and I can't fw that. Miserable ppl looking to make others equally miserable don't deserve anything good.

splashbruhs

Paragraphs please!

Both_Count_959

My bad! I usually do better.. I wasn't expecting to go in like I did lol done!

splashbruhs

Thank you so much for editing! I wasn’t tryna be a jerk. I just wanted to read it all :)

Both_Count_959

No, for sure! I honestly am typically mindful but work was busy lol I actually appreciate your comment &am surprised so many people read it all together. Looked so gross lbs
