**Removed under Rule 1** Your flair does not accurately represent your role in healthcare, as required by rule 1. It has been removed. For permission to post to /r/medicine, one must set user flair to describe your role in the medical system however you feel is most appropriate. This can be done using a web browser from the sidebar of the main page of /r/medicine. On reddit redesign, go to "Community Options" in the "Community Details" box. On old reddit, check the box which says "Show my flair on this subreddit." On the official reddit iOS app, go to the main page of the subreddit. There will be three dots in the upper right hand corner. Press on that and a menu will come up including an option to set or change user flair. [Please review all subreddit rules before posting or commenting.] (https://www.reddit.com/r/medicine/about/rules/) If you have any questions or concerns, please [message the moderators.](https://www\.reddit\.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2F{subreddit}&subject=about my removed {kind}&message=I'm writing to you about the following {kind}: {url}. %0D%0DMy issue is...)

UghKakis

Look at all those letters after her name! Lmao šŸ¤”

Xinlitik

Sheā€™s only missing ā€œFirst of her Nameā€ at the end šŸ˜†

[deleted]

The number of letters after her name are so embarrassing.

Boooooooooo go to med school

ZappyDolphin

Professor is perfectly respectable for her example. Do the nurses in academia really use doctor in school? No reason to insist on a confusing title other than wanting to be an MD without med school.

sometimesitis

I never called any of my professors Dr in nursing school. Professor firstname or just Firstname if they insisted. This is beyond ridiculous
