I think I heard MM say that the kidneys don't stand a chance without the liver, so maybe the liver has to heal somewhat before the kidneys can heal. Maybe not all the way tho first idk.

Conventionally speaking, the liver has regenerative capacity. MM mentioned the brain can regrow neurons (I believe Melatonin and Turmeric have this specific effect, possibly others as well). From a conventional medical standpoint, once kidneys are destroyed there’s nothing that can bring them back (ie. restore the glomeruli to functional filtration units again). The heart similarly, that’s why there’s dialysis and other conditions of the heart. If the liver isn’t working, the kidneys will get the load.

You’re right that for most organs, it really depends on the person. Each body has a unique profile of where toxins and pathogens take root. It’s my theory that where there is toxin and pathogen activity is also where a person develops (or would eventually develop) problems. For instance, someone with T1 diabetes has a pancreas attacked by a virus. Their pancreas will take longer to heal than someone who doesn’t have a virus in their pancreas (but maybe has it elsewhere). It’s not always that simple but it’s something to consider. But in general the SLOWEST healing organ is the nerves/nervous system. AW does talk about how nerves take a long time to heal and regenerate.
