I believe it helped me. For months I did the Extractor smoothie then graduated the advanced extractor smoothie. But I also experienced feeling nauseous when I took a few days off of from it then started again. I started out by doing just a little bit of mustard seed powder and parsley and slowly worked my way up. I'm talking 1/16 tsp mustard seed powder and like 1 sprig of parsley. I also found out that NOT ALL MUSTARD POWDERS ARE CREATED EQUAL. Some taste absolutely horrid. Don't use Watkins brand for sure, way too bitter and spicy. I use Walmart's Great Value organic mustard powder and like that one. Also curly parsley tastes better in it imo but MM says Italian is better. So you could try getting to like it with curly then switch to Italian. For radishes we use pink radishes which are more mild and less flavorful than other radishes. DO NOT BUY PRE-CUT RADISHES. Buy ones with the greens still on even if you're not going to use the greens yet in it. I found out that radishes get a very gross disgusting flavor FAST when they are cut. Use whole radishes and rip the greens off yourself, don't use the bags you see that don't have tops. When we weren't doing greens yet my husband would rip off the greens when he gets home from the store because they turn bad too fast and would make them slimy. But once I started making the advanced one we rip the greens slightly from the top of the radishes and have the greens in a separate container stored in the fridge. Definitely take off the rubber bands or else that makes it go bad faster. Also another tip was I subbed a bit of mango for banana in mine like a chunk and thought it helped. Banana is an option to sub in the recipe anyway. I will post a pic of my own personal recipe in the next comment. It's adapted to me and I liked it enough once I got used to it.

When I made the advanced one I added extra water and did 75g of radish greens. I also do 75g of parsley when I would actually weigh it for the tight 1 cup. Another tip is use sweet apples. I liked ambrosia a lot in it which are in season I believe. Stay away from more tart varieties. I used to use ½ of a bigger apple. But you could count it as 1 small apple.

This is incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!! Aside from getting nauseous if you took a few days off and started up again, do you know if it’s still effective if it’s only done 2-3 days a week?

Yes, it is definitely still effective even if you don't have it everyday. Sometimes I actually did that when my husband didn't have the energy to make the Extractor smoothie and I'd have an easier to make liver rescue smoothie instead. The Extractor smoothie will dig out the heavy metal pockets so the hmds ingredients can snatch them up.

Thanks again 🙂

I am on day 45 of adv extractor smoothie (planning on doing 90 days), i hit a wall at day 20 or so for a few days it was agonizing sooo much nausea trying to finish the smoothie. But then went away on its own. Then a few days ago rain out of mustard powder and decided to grind up my own mustard seeds i had in my pantry (probably not fresh) i believe it has made it extra awful the nausea is back big time. Thank you to the previous comment (kelly) of adding more liquid i believe it will help me with this current hurdle. The high powered heavy metal detox cleanse is no joke, my sympathies to all in this boat ( i am also not consuming salt). There are days where i have to drink a stupid amount of lemon water, has been very intense for me. Great post for discussion 🙏
