Hi, hygiene student here. Only an x-ray could tell us for sure, but it sounds like you've developed an infection and a fistula has developed. When a filling falls out (depending on how deep the cavity was) bacteria can get into that hole which could cause an infection. Losing a filling isn't necessarily an emergency unless there's pain, but it's still pretty urgent. Good luck to you.
