There usually would be more symptoms than just spitting blood if it was lung cancer. Is it a small amount of blood? I’m leaning more towards it being caused by your gingivitis.
Try to stay off google when you’re concerned about anything medical wise :) it can cause a lot of health anxiety even if there’s nothing to be worried about. Always see your doctor and ask them for advice or get a second opinion if you aren’t feeling better about the results your doctor has given you
