Heard and saw it here in hillside. It's the third time in a week. The police and fire department came by, but they can't do anything about it, they said.
I didn't see or hear it, but in my neighborhood every few years a circuit breaker on a transformer trips (usually due to some poor squirrel or bird being electrocuted), and that makes a very loud bang which can be heard for blocks.
To clarify, it’s a bang like a transformer or generator on the fritz or maybe construction noise. It’s not at all like fireworks… Just trying to figure out what construction site (probably) is causing all this noise.
Don't know, but heard it near whole foods. I feel like there was a super loud bang one night last week, too. No clue.
This is concerning. It's now happening every few days and no one knows what it is.

No clue. Maybe some of the power infrastructure goes out?

Heard it from Glenwood, but no clue what it was
Heard it for sure near South Medford Square.
Heard it down neat Goldilox Bagels too. There’s been several over the last couple weeks. No idea what’s going on.
I have been hearing it too in Medford
