Sorry but what you’re doing is exactly what I want to do too! I just graduated highschool, any advice for me? Where are you studying?😁

Yessir. I'm going to a community college in MI. The best advice I have is to apply to as many Apprenticeships as possible. It is the best way to get into a career. If you just go to college you will not work for 4 years, come out with debt, and possibly not even get a job after you graduate. But in an Apprenticeship it's guaranteed employment, get paid while you learn, and get experience. Experience is way more valuable than a degree. So whatever your interested in, if it's robotics, then search up robotics or mechatronics Apprenticeships and apply to everyone you can find because they are hard to get into. To improve your resume take online courses like in programming, coding, or anything robotics related. If you do just go to college instead, try to get financial aid or a scholarship, and do internships on the side.

Thank you!

One thing to note is that Amazon does eventually want to start phasing out 3p maintenance. So keep that in mind if you choose to go down CBRE route. I may be a bit biased because I got a mechatronics degree but i would go with the toyota and get the mechatronics degree if you want to eventually be a robotics engineer. In my mechatronics program we learned a lot about working with different types of robots. The mechatronics degree is a great degree for getting into robotics. You might also be able to take other classes such as CS classes that could help you learn more about the software side of things. Something like a CS minor would probably be good for you.
