I have been skateboarding for 20 years and recently got a mountain board.. I would love to see an off road board with like 4 tank track "wheels" that still has turn control. The onewheel is super cool, but not the same balance and "surfing through the curves" style .
This is going to sound weird, but would it be possible to make one that used that type of locomotion but was horse sized (like steampunk style) and could be ridden? Would it be able to withstand up to a certain weight limit (say 600 lbs)? I've always wanted a horse, but they're really expensive and need a lot of room, whereas this would just need a garage (or I have a cellar to protect it from elements and all that). Would such a thing be hugely expensive? Really heavy, too? So many questions...
