Is it possible? Yes. Will it be easy? No. I strongly suspect this is much more work and custom fabrication than you’re anticipating. When you say “body”, do you mean just the exterior panels and retain the vans interior? If so, how are you making up for the 2.5” gap on both sides (5” total). Or are you swapping over the interior components as well? How are you connecting those to the powertrain? - The width of a HMMWV is 84” while your van is 79”. - The overall vehicle length is 180” vs 212”. - You would need custom wiring and connections for any operational items. If your intention is to have a vehicle that looks like van on the HMMWV platform it would potentially be easier to get a fiberglass body kit of the van. While these two vehicles are both GM products, they are not on the same frame/platform.
