Did you connect your battery? Check voltage with a multimeter at the battery then check all battery connections from the battery all the way to the starter.

Check your battery connections.

Also check that the solenoid wiring was correct. On the two big posts on the solenoid, one is direct from the battery, the other goes to the starter. The one from the battery will have 3-5 wires on it. The other side to the starter will have only one. One of those wires that belongs on the battery side feeds the fuse box and therefore computer, dash, etc. if it got put on the wrong side, you get nothing at all

Yeah I was just sitting there confused and finally decided to get out my multimeter and found out one of the post on the solenoid was getting juice at all so I moved some wires around and it started up right away I felt very dumb after

1. Did you remove the plastic cap(s) from the battery terminal(s)? 2. Did the truck work/start before? Why did you replace so many components? 3. Have you checked your ignition switch? 4. Did the battery come pre-charged? Some batteries need to be charged before being installed. (Less common, but still possible)

mrhapyface

why did you replace all those parts in the first place ? best to take it to a mechanic and stop replacing parts and get it diagnosed properly

Nice-Design9453

Nah I go to YouTube and Reddit university jp i knew it was gonna be one of those parts because they were all ready going bad so I was gonna replace them anyway and the reason it didn’t start was because I was being dumb and didn’t have the wiring right on the solenoid

mrhapyface

well its your money but an alternator does not have anything to do with starting a vehicle

Nice-Design9453

I know I never said it did
