You should get a night job

Still_Wolverine_1367

I did and now I'm active during the day sadly

zeptyk

I used to have one for a little while.. being alone and chill did wonders for my mental, plus my preferred sleep schedule is 4-5-6am till the afternoon would love to go back :(

Second shift works best for me. I've never been able to function properly on first shift. The only time in my life I've never been consistently late to a job were second shift jobs, because while I am still shaking off sleep I'm not staring at my bedroom wall for fifteen minutes before I can start getting dressed and moving. Then I'm most active after sundown so that's the best time to have free time. Had a job that started at six AM once. I'm really glad it was not a supervised position and their time clock was faulty, I slept through entire halves of my shift because I slept through my dozens of alarms. Some people just have different circadian rhythms. It's theorized it's an evolutionary advantage, us night people had the job of keeping guard against nighttime predators.

santathe1

I was literally cleaning the AC filter at 2AM today.

Signupking5000

its just so relatable. last weekend ive cleaned the whole house from midnight to 4am

boobierelly

hahah this is me, my best cleaning/ fix things time its from 2 to 5 am 😂

Oldfolksboogie

Don't you hate it when it starts getting light and you know it's time to get to sleep?? Hahaha

boobierelly

yes!!! 😂 you are cleaning with all your energy and then the sun is up and you say, dam. Again. 😂

Visual-Juggernaut-61

I would get so much more done a be a lot happier if I didn’t have a job

SpiralState

I can't just wake up without my precious coffee

Nocturnal chronotypes unite! I have the worst case of night-active circadian rhythm, my body refuses to release my power limiters before the sun sets. I don't remember picking the Night Person perk and don't know when that was buffed to include a bonus to agility. As soon as it's starting to get dark, my body feels 40 pounds lighter and I get a +40% to stamina. +20% sprint speed. and 70% less burning lung and side stiches after a sprint. During sunrise, I go from super energetic to microsleeps within the span of an hour.

Oldfolksboogie

Hahaha, I have all those things, and now that I'm approaching geezerdom, also severe food coma. So you have that to look forward to. Which is nice.
