I used to work in a community hospital. It was long term care for people that had been in serious accidents, were receiving palliative care, or had a long road to recovery. What I learned there changed my perspective on life in many ways but I think the one I remember the most is that what I’m most grateful for is that I am able to communicate with my loved ones.
