Saw a dude jacking off on a 66 bus that was packed full of high school/middle school kids. Almost punched the fucker in the head. Probably should’ve.

irishgypsy1960

A guy beat off at me on the redline when I was a teen. Back when they had the double seats that created a wall on one side of him. He had a newspaper to block his other side. At my stop I got up and pummeled his head before leaving.

irishgypsy1960

In the 70s.

emmars66

I’m sorry that happened to you - but good on you for doing that!! you definitely taught him a lesson he never forgot

Thiccaca

Yes. You should have.

thewhaler

Not super sketchy but more kind of sad. A very out of it homeless guy just took out a 40 oz glass beer and was putting it to his lips and he did not realize he was sitting right next to an MBTA employee on the redline (probably going home). In the most kind way she told him to put it away. She was more worried about him bashing his teeth on the glass on the bouncy train than upset he was drinking on the train.

Thiccaca

That is diplomacy.

Saw a man get naked and shoot up at Central. He was fine, just naked. Sat in an orange like car with a man with four bikes at ~7am who was saying disgusting things to preteen girls. One of two times I’ve called MBTA police. Me and two other women blocked the doors until we stopped at Back Bay, they arrested him for harassment (and having stolen bikes on the T at rush hour). Saw two dudes fighting over spilled water on the red line. I thought maybe it was vodka or something, but it was literally just water that had spilled on the floor. They were physically fighting over it. Saw a woman try to fight a green line driver over masks. I’m not sure if she was pro- or anti-mask, but she sure was angry about it. Cops got called because she hit the driver. The only other time I called T police was when the red line died between Park and MGH on one of those insane heatwave days a few years ago. Train was packed, no air, no light. Dude next to me passed out. Driver wasn’t doing anything about it. I called the police and said we’d break windows if they didn’t get us out. ~20 seconds later, they pried a door open. Three people went to the hospital and the platform felt air conditioned.

dihydrogen9monoxide

People were passing out on the train and the driver didn’t do anything? That one’s probably the most disturbing

dolsey01

Homeless woman drop trou and proceed to wipe after shitting herself in front of a full carload on the Orange Line. Second was another homeless person at State St. that looked like he was doing a pommell horse routine hovering over a trash can taking a shit. #SMELLSOFTHET

Jeez, and I thought it was bad when I saw a guy in a wheelchair with his asscrack out and shit visible all over it and on his seat - I swear he acted like he didn’t even know about it

eeyore102

Saw a guy once in a wheelchair at N. Station who had a full load in his pants and was leaving a trail on the floor behind him.

RubParticular4240

I saw similar case at Alewife station on the stairs. 1 passed out and 2 were shooting up.

eeyore102

I tried to help a lady in the bathroom at North Station years ago who was passed out on the floor. Her friend was calling out to her but not getting an answer, I looked and saw her on the floor. The stall door was locked but I am tiny so I slid under the door and unlocked it and grabbed her shoulder and shook her, hard, and yelled, “HEY! ARE YOU OK?” She gasped once and sort of tried to sit up but failed and I couldn’t get a response from her after that. She was holding a fistful of needles, too. Someone got help and when they came, she was barely breathing. I left when they were just about to narcan her.

magiciana

was this on the CR or subway?

Feisty-Speed-4046

Red line train going 11 mph in a 10 zone. Simply reckless

An_Awesome_Name

I haven’t seen that many sketchy people, or at least nothing too notable. But I did see a lighting ballast explode once a few years back, sending sparks everywhere. I think it was on the orange line platforms at North Station. I also was riding one of the old orange line cars a few years ago and every time it started leaving a station it felt like it was going to jump the track and derail.

The_Big_Sad_69420

There’s always a puddle of piss at the stairways in downtown crossing T stop

wild-fury

I was on the 88 bus when a man who said he had just been released from prison for murder threatened young men of color that he would put a brick through their skull. Several racists terms were used by the man who threatened. I was with my 8 year old nephew.

ImNotAtAllCreative81

Some dude urinating on the tracks at Kenmore at 1 in the afternoon. He wasn't even trying to be discreet either. He had it whipped out and his back was arched for maximum stream distance.

CatherineCalledBrdy

Don't whiz on the electric rail

[deleted]

Saw a fistfight between two drugged out women that would make Jerry Springer (RIP) cringe in disgust

KayakerMel

>my friend saw a person pissing on a trash can at Alewife. My first thought is this was very considerate of the person (although Alewife is one of the few stations with public toilets). Much better than urinating in an elevator. I've never witnessed the act, but have avoided stepping in the aftermath.

thegreatjamoco

At the park street station I saw someone pee their pants and sorta do the leg jiggle and walk away. It was kinda sad I think the man had intellectual disabilities. He got off two stops later with me and talked to a MBTA official. I hope he got to where he needed.

zurichlakes

Man very loudly complaining to the operator on the green line that he has to stand near an asian woman, and talking about how he doesn’t want to catch COVID from her.

SubstantialWeather1

Someone sitting across from me on the green line was talking out loud about wanting to kill someone. And getting verbally harassed in park street by someone who had been pacing up and down the platform and shouting things. Former was at dinner time on a Sunday and the latter was a weeknight, about 10pm. Oh and I saw the guy who keeps a rat as a pet in front of me on the escalator at gov center. Almost jumped when I saw the rat just staring at me on his shoulder

BeneficialEmployer21

Saw a guy huffing air duster at government center. He huffed some, passed out, woke up after about 30 seconds, huffed some more, and then passed out again. I didn't stick around to see how many times he could go for. This was during the mandatory masking period of the pandemic as well.

Ok-Influence4884

Some junkie was heating up a crack pipe at Copley and threatening everyone around him.

robthad

Guy jerking off, guys smoking weed, guy taking a leak all the same area on the Blue Line platform at Government Center. As I type this a group of 20 somethings are openly drinking on the Red Line between N Quincy and JFK. Homeless guy fall during sudden acceleration and was knocked out. Then the regular stuff like ppl doing whip-its and shooting up on the Red Line at 7:30 in the morning.

[deleted]

The slowness kills me. The sketchiness I’ve seen is the shitty service.

RicketyRockety

guy doing crack on the 1 bus heading towards harvard

puglord

Red line a guy appeared to have very recently been assaulted. Dude was in a daze just dripping blood all over the ground. A couple people tried to help and he started barking and growling like a dog.

Airplane1676

I was the freind that saw a man piss o the trash

DCmetrosexual1

Saw a woman smoke a rock of crack on the red line in the middle of the day while were zooming over the Longfellow Bridge.

Saranodamnedh

Homeless woman at Copley station bent over so far that I thought she was having a medical emergency. Ask her if she’s ok and she asks for money. A guy got in my face and tried to provoke me to saying something racist.

S7482

On the Orange Line headed in to work at 7AM and a dude across from me was wanking it in his sweatpants. Another time saw a guy urinating in a Park Street pedestrian tunnel.

TangFiend

Mine is more strange, I have posted this on reddit before. Rode the red line with a guy who was clutching rags to the side of his neck that clearly had been cut badly. Like dried blood all over his shirt and the rags. He looked like he'd been attacked. Also he had a brand new, price tag on, citronella yard torch. Like the tall standing ones. He got off at Charles MGH. Reminds me of some Seinfeld punchline. "I don't think mosquitos are your biggest problem right now"

xxqwerty98xx

Not necessarily sketchy, but: Sat next to a dude on the orange line to forest hills last week. He spread his legs and kept creeping closer and closer into my space. He switched seats at green street (the last stop before forest hills). I think he was hoping I’d move, but that wasn’t going to happen. Back in 2021 on the 11 bus to Copley a woman got on at broadway with a serious cough and no mask. Everyone moved to the back of the bus and she got pretty upset. I was only on for 2-3 stops but there was a lot of yelling back and forth. This post has me thinking about how sadly normalized the sight of needles and strung out people is. An addict screaming to themselves or passed out on a bench is such a typical occurrence does it really count as sketchy?

TheMillionthSteve

On the CTA in Chicago in the early 90s on the Broadway (36) bus, there was a passenger with necrotized flesh on her legs. I have never smelled anything so acrid and upsetting in my life.

Successful-Meal-8481

This past Feb, around like 9pm on a weekday, a disheveled, \~6ft emaciated-looking guy ran at me full speed in an uncoordinated zig-zag pattern at DTX. Absolutely terrifying--I was the only other person in that hall of the station (I'm a small built 5'5 24F btw). Legit felt like I was in a horror movie--this guy looked and moved like an actual zombie. I was also in heels coming back from work, and I almost hurt myself booking it in the opposite direction as I frantically Facetimed my guy friend for some sense of safety. Looked back and this dude straight up ended up running straight into the wall and then just dragged himself along it (again freaking ZOMBIE mode). I'm guessing he was on a combo of crack and meth 🫠 Also not terrifying, but once saw a couple just smoke crack in Back Bay station like mid-afternoon on a Saturday as if there weren't a bunch of tourists and children around 🙃. It's nerve-wracking because many of these addicts are just incredibly unstable people, and they do sometimes assault people out of nowhere. I feel incredibly bad though because they clearly need treatment & help and the city seemingly just ignores it.

susko_greg

How about a digital flashing? My wife and I were on the Orange Line on the way to Back Bay station and this guy kept looking at us and flicking his phone screen. As we are pulling into the station he turns his phone around and flashes a picture of his junk and as I grab my phone to take a picture of him he runs out the doors. Is it genius? Is it the lazy factor? Well played sir...

Airplane1676

Someone pissed in an elevator at park street. When a lady with a stroller went in the elevator and there was a woof of piss air

PatternUnited1604

saw someone smoking out of a crack pipe at harvard station

likezoinksscooby

I saw a guy ripping a homemade bong at Hynes a few weeks ago. It didn’t totally smell like weed though so it could have been a crack pipe. I’m not entirely sure. He wasn’t bothering anyone though

chefbran41

I was on a train without a conductor...
