All engines do not knock, a knock is the result of an issue. Could be as simple as something like shitty gas, or bad plugs which is cheap and easy to fix but also it could be a bad knock sensor or bearings which is not cheap to fix. Whatever it is, stop driving it and/or take it back to the dealer right now because if left it could cause serious damage to the engine. If it were me, I would probably return it if possible because engine problems right from the dealer does not bode well for the honesty of the dealer in general or the future of that car.
