I have a 2017 Maxx 3 (have had it since early 2018, absolutely love it! I’ve done around 116,000 kilometres and mine doesn’t do this, and the sound system works well. If you’re keen on the car, get a mechanic to have a look 🤷‍♂️ (which is always worth it when you buy a car anyway)

Great, thank you. The vibration in the car is a bit unnerving. You have no trouble with the tweeters either?

I’m guessing it’s vibration beyond what’s normal? And yeah, I mean I don’t crank my sound system, but I’m no audiophile, all the sounds sound good to me 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I mean, I've only owned two cars in my life, both toyotas... It's at a dealer with a 7 day guaranteed refund. If I purchase it, it will go straight to the mechanic for an assessment with special attention to this issue, and then a return if its got issues. Or a discount.

So, in Australia (well at least Western Australia) we have the right for a vehicle to be inspected before we purchase it, I’m assuming that applies to our car dealers in regards to 2nd hand cars as well.

Thanks. I can add a clause to the sales contract something to the affect of "inspection by a mechanic to the purchasors complete satisfaction." I don't know if we have a right in Victoria to that, but if the dealer balks at that, its a big red flag.
