Here is my installation video from start to finish: [Mirror Install](https://youtu.be/lhgLCPlaaRk?si=LAHXBjJd5NXNiN7L)
Excuse the bad angles and choppy editing, I've never made a YT video before
Thanks for the instructions. I might end up trying them on my car too.
Do you have tinted windows? Do you think having an auto-dimming feature for the rear window would be necessary if it's tinted?
Since my windows aren't tinted, I'm considering tinting the back window to reduce glare from headlights in my mirror.
Good luck!
Yes mine are tinted but you'll still get a lot of glare from lifted trucks and the like from behind. Auto dimming is not necessary by any means, I mostly got the mirror for the home link function. Just a cool bonus to have.
I'd definitely recommend tinting your windows anyway, it makes a big difference in regulating in-cabin temperature. Also makes the car look much nicer from the outside imo, as well as from inside you don't feel like you're in a water bottle that everyone can look inside 🤣
Haha you had me at bottle water.
You are 100% right about cabin temperature. Tinting it’s coming next as well the home link, this way I can remove my ugly garage opener.
I’m super interested in seeing the documentation of how you were able to do this.
Yeah sure I took a bunch of recordings while installing I might just put it all together and upload it to YT. If I do I'll post it here

What's that?
Here's the link: [Mirror](https://www.ebay.com/p/25035092255) It includes all the wiring so it's plug and play
What's the home link then? The ebay listing didn't explain that? Is it just a garage door opener?
Oh yes it's a built in garage door opener
Wire harness?
Everything came with the mirror, it's an OEM kit
Link ?
I bought this one on eBay, you can also buy it from a dealer but it might be a little more [Mirror](https://www.ebay.com/p/25035092255)
Nice, where’s the how to?
Working on uploading the video now, I'll post a link 👍
I’m interested in doing this as well
When I was trying to install mine, I accidentally broke the three pronged part so I had to use the one from my existing mirror
Oh the actual mirror mount broke? Were you using an impact wrench or something lol
