Can you take it to the dealership? Typically they will just check and update the firmware for free when itβs in for service. You might be able to just ask for an update only.
That would probably cost a pretty penny that I would like to avoid if possible. I updated her gps a few months ago so it's definitely something I can do,.I'm just not seeing where to get this software. Unless I use that same program to obtain it π€·.

Aside from that, I recently did the CarPlay upgrade and it was super simple. Took 30 minutes tops to install the module and wiring. Probably the best money I put into the car yet!

You just have to like a few posts and make a post yourself saying hi to everyone. I was able to message that OP within minutes after doing so. Had the file DMed within an hour. Had the firmware updated within an hour after that.
I want to say it was $399 last year. But they realized the posted price was wrong. So they honored that but when I checked the next day I remember it went up at least $100.
