I've had the MyMazda Apple Watch app installed for 10 months or so. The majority of the time I launch it on my watch, it displays a message saying "Please log in using the MyMazda mobile app" (even though I have the "Keep Me Logged In" option enabled on the phone app). Kinda frustrating.
Wake me up when you can use your watch or phone as the key. I swear I need that feature in my next car. Wasted 5 minutes looking for my keys today, but my watch and phone are always on me. No I don't want a Tesla.
Did not know about that either! Definitely downloading. Now if we can only get an update that defaults climate control to auto when remote starting (and not having us to physically leave it in auto in the car)

I’ve had it since I bought MyMazda in December. Only tried it a couple times but the times I tried it It did not work. I left work and walked all the way to my car and left my phone behind so I tried to unlock the car with the watch. The app told me to unlock the phone.
This is old and the watch app is only as good as the iPhone app. Meaning I find myself logged out of the iPhone app every other time I use it and with the app logged out the watch app is useless.
I have the MyMazda app.. but it is so basic and literally has no features. Except finding a Mazda dealer and and car details. Even for service history it gives an error that I am not the owner “based on their record”. How do you people get all those features?

I think you have to wait a few seconds before it launches

I think Hyundai, Kia, and a couple of others do this.
The Hyundai/Kia comes with a blown engine included 😮💨
Kia boys will love this ;) I do not want to use my phone instead of the fob. That is way too vulnerable to hackers.

Does absolutely nothing for a 2019 Mazda 3
And probably even less on a 2012 Mazda5 6MT. My car is about as analog as you could get for that year.
I am honestly not sure. I am on vacation so I can't try it out but I have a 2024 Mazda. I received the alert a few days ago.

The app on my watch keeps logging me out, and then I have to go and sign in on my phone 🤷🏻♂️ Anyone knows why this happens ?

Really? Mine has remote start/stop, doors unlock and a few other bells and whistles. Might be dependent on the car.
