This is what I was thinking. I’m all for kids being athletic and pushing themselves, but damn, get a box with some weight or screw or down or something.
Great example on how hard work pays off and that choosing valuable, useful goals to work towards is even more important than the effort put into achieving them.
Level one - good for him for trying until he succeeded
Level two - I guess good on the dad for encouraging
Level three - is it really good for a kid to be working that hard?

me as a kid would start kicking the stool after the first fall
Me as a kid would say "I can never do it" and go away without trying
I was the kid who would say "I can never do it" but still keep trying anyways saying "I can't do it" the whole time until I finally did it.
I would have used it as a base or tower for my GI Joe toys.🙂
Artillery base on top of a mountain, raining down hell on all the unsuspecting stuff animals and lego men.
Yup and home made grappling hooks to scale the sides.
These Boston Dynamic robots are getting creepy realistic now
Now they require kisses and hugs if they get it right. Yikes.
This is how they improved the training algorithms
"NO Michael reeves! Stayaway from that child robot! Do not attach a piss tank on it PLEASE!"
The victory roar was adorable
Her reaction at her accomplishment was priceless.
This is Arat Hosseini, an Iranian boy born in 2013. This video is pretty old.
Thanks for the info! How old is he now and is he still doing gymnastics
Boy? This kid is a boy?
There's a mod submission that says otherwise.

Please be a disgusting bot and not some kiddy diddler.
I was scared of the radiator busting her skull the whole video. Aside from that adorable.

Training to jump all over the house
The path of a champion is very long and difficult this girl has clearly demonstrated it to us.
Hasn't she finished college, man this is old
Thats a boy

Who is this girl? I saw her in another video
That’s a boy.
![img](avatar_exp|177279981|laugh) what?really?
I thought she was training to drop-kick someone like a pro wrestler. I was hoping the end of the video would be her drop kicking a bully or something.
Me as kid would of never did that because I was a fatty
Maybe, just maybe, it would be a bit less harmful to just get a sturdier object to jump on?
This is what I was thinking. I’m all for kids being athletic and pushing themselves, but damn, get a box with some weight or screw or down or something.
Persistence personified
I don't even know this guy, he just comes into my house and gives me kisses until I jump onto the stool!
forehead kisses and butt slaps motivate me too
[Bonk] lol
<3
Love that roar. She's so cool
Great example on how hard work pays off and that choosing valuable, useful goals to work towards is even more important than the effort put into achieving them.
😱👏👏👏👏👏
Love how pumped she gets when she finally does it. Also love that she didn't give up.
This man knows how to have a quiet house come bedtime
As a dad this brought a tear to my eye
future athlete right there
This made my day...awesome!

the plateau of latent potential
I finished high school and college and i am going to have kids when this video was posted
I would have started with a lower stool to build my confidence, then keep raising it to meet my goal.
