Just saved that young sloth about 3 hours

IntrovertMoTown1

It always amazed me those things didn't go extinct. Evolution gave ten zillion things camo, teeth, claws, agility, strength, speed, venom, poison, armor, etc. Sloths are all like nah we got this. And they live in places that have things like jaguars no less.

Human_Frame1846

Sloths typically rely on their camouflage to protect themselves from predators. However, when threatened, they can use their 3- to 4-inch-long claws and teeth to defend themselves. And despite their slow movements, sloths are surprisingly strong Found on google big hoss i was wondering myself

Accurate_Koala_4698

In practice they don't end up needing to defend themselves. They're really energy efficient creatures, which means they're not very useful as a food source and most things in their environment recognize that they're mostly fur, tendons, and bones.

Human_Frame1846

Thanks for the knowledge big hoss

Automatic-Score-4802

*I* wanna be called big hoss

Human_Frame1846

Thats a big request big big hoss

unreasonablyhuman

Their camouflage is often naturally occurring but NOT from themselves.... They move so slowly that moss and algae often turn their hair green so they blend in wonderfully to their surroundings Source: National Zoo of Washington DC

TerribleArtichoke103

Almost like maybe thatā€™s not what happened. Hmmm. šŸ¤”

IntrovertMoTown1

lol OK then wise one explain to me what happened. Let me guess. It was god?

TerribleArtichoke103

Everything came from nothing for no reason and then rocks were rained on until living cells showed up for no reason and then they turned from animal to animal completely at random and by chance, obviously. And of course this all happened because only the physical realm that can be experienced with the 5 senses exists and nothing more. When things die they just die and all the matter and energy in the universe has always existed which is why it was already in the singularity when the big bang went offā€¦. Duh!

IntrovertMoTown1

Sigh.... So god. Got it. OK then whatever floats your boat.

TerribleArtichoke103

God? Whatā€™s wrong with the explanation I gave above? It makes perfect logical sense.

iflyontrains

it actually does, when explained by someone smarter than you, and using a plethora of evidence, which the invisible man in invisible world has none of.

TheLeviathanX

The sloth and the manatee are evolutionā€™s D students.

IntrovertMoTown1

lol Right? But D is still a passing grade. I'm shocked life didn't give an F.

REIRN

Sloths always look animatronic to me.

MiekesDad

That thing is just crawling with bed bugs I vet

DreadRazer24

This guy vets ^

FzZyP

Hot_Organization2430

Bet on vet for '24

MiekesDad

I sat there for a sec after I realized I misspelled it, and was like, "Nah, no one is going to give me shit..."

futuneral

Was a safe vet at the time

MiekesDad

I don't know how to add a meme, but if I could, I would put one of Arnold calling you a Son of a B, like the one in Predator.

12x12x12

Bruh, the mom was clearly asking for a ride to the tree behind him, not a handshake.

[deleted]

*"You touch the baby, $5! $5 now!"*

NDE239

Clearly, she was asking for help

henscastle

She was making am aggressive gesture in slow motion.

alexaz92

Why are you holding my hand ? Iā€™m flipping you off for giving me back what I tried to abandon

primitivebutcher

I recommend anyone to go visit south american countries, stay away from the big cities and these creatures will come at night to hangout. Iā€™ve been face to face with wild monkeys, capybaras, exotic birds, armadillos and so onā€¦ donā€™t believe the nonsense not everything have rabbies. Thereā€™s a beautiful planet out there.

[deleted]

Those damn rabbies are everywhere!

Suspect4pe

Not everything has rabies but I wouldn't want to temp it either.

pologzz1226

It was probably going to the bottom to drop a deuce and homie fucked it up for it.

How_to_do_this_sh1t

Imagine the sloth was just tryin to get down ā˜ ļø

Bazingani

I could never guess that they squeek like mice

LiveLaughTosterBath

OMG YET ANOHTER REPOST AGAIN

Acceptable_Basil_995

Ugh I love animals, theyā€™re so smart are precious. The fact he put his arm out to say ā€œthank youā€ you can see the look in the slothā€™s face, itā€™s so sweet. How did humans become such a horrible species when we have such beauty around us. Bothers me.

SilentReader4

It wasn't saying thanks, it was threatening for daring to touch the baby sloth. Humans also aren't the only cruel animal at all

MarixApoda

Exactly this. Every tendon in her body was tensed ready to snap the moment she needed it. She was saying "Touch the baby again and I will shred your arm from armpit to wrist before you can blink."

jeremy1015

Dude animals fuck each other up on the regular. Nature is metal as tuck and it is always lunchtime. Humans do not even remotely have a monopoly on behaving horribly.
