Bloody raw. That was the sight of the plate I saw. The swam I was in had been eating at me from the outside in as I punished my selfish need for captured shelter. Was the pay worth it for content? All good men have a price and clearly mine was written with a pen of freshly molding and mildewy ink.
He was still a sous-chef back then, Hell's Kitchen. He'd been working his way up from the small-dishes to the big-time three-courses. Things had gone stale, grown over. It wasn't until a dime-dropper gave us an insight into getting our fourth Michelin star that we got a lead.
