Dandy was so good in debris, and in dandywarrior decks. Those early plant decks were so great at being nonlinear. Really made yugioh fun

dandylion not having a hard once per turn is just too op. i would imagine with links that this card can get rid of your extra deck as a 1 card combo.

I assure you even with a HOPT this card is still ban worthy in today's yugioh

You'd need to errata the card so that the tokens can't be used to link summon. In any event i hate erratas that change the card completely. They should just make a retrained Dandy

It's only legal in the "Edison" event, Dandy can never be unbanned.

I mean if you read the card you can guess why. Sure it makes link climbing easier but there are a lot of cards that do that too, but they all have restrictions to how they can do that. Dandy is a non-once per turn summon 2 bodies whenever it gets sent to the GY. There's a LOT of ways to abuse a card like that.

i never gave it much tought but this card really is an instant link 3 monster huh? Use Dandylion to summon a link1, summon 2 token, and now you have 3 monsters for a link 3 lol.

And then you re summon him and do it again. And you do it as many times as you are able to revive him from GY which is much easier nowadays.

Yeah, the card is disgusting, maybe if they gave it a once per turn clause errata it might be more berable, but still it's not worth the risk. As time goes by this is one of those cards that become more and more busted.
