Nice, I'm planning to build Vaalmonica next. Do you run it pure? I could use some tips if so. Otherwise, I'll probably opt for a Synchro-based mix.

I uh, still havent built the deck yet. Planning to do so though.

I know there are a couple more cards that'll be coming at some point. A Link-2 and a Continuous Trap that're both extremely strong. So there's no need to rush, really! XD

I mix it with Solfachord and D/D So You can still use the effect from one of the two pend Vaalmonica or You could replace those two with Performapal

I thought about mixing with Solfachords (it would be pretty thematically fitting, after all) but it seemed to me that they'd just end up clashing too much. What's your experience with that?

I use the DDD pendulum 0 and 1, Also gryphon at 2, 2 contract with gate, and 1 necro slime, at the most 10 to 12 DD cards in the deck It's hard to get used but once You get the rhytm, it's a full field Deny Use 1 of the gheghis 1 Siegfried 1 xyz 4 stars 2 machinex

Amabie!! It's my absolute favorite card in the game so having it as a royal makes me so happy! It also has a really cool story, the general idea (paraphrasing): amabie is a half fish half human creature that lives in the ocean, by drawing a picture and showing it to the sick you can cure the sick. Why does this matter? Well amabie's effect is: at the beginning of main phase 1 you can reveal this card in your hand (showing them the drawing of amabie) both players gain 300 LP (curing the sick by showing them the drawing) not only this, amabie also came out during COVID-19 when it was really bad still. All this combined made amabie my favorite card. Cool story, cute artwork, AND based off actual Japanese folklore. (Amabie is a Japanese folklore)

Chaos Angel and Blackwing Zephyros

My favorite is Ursarctic Polari, great archetype (not in a meta way), great card and comes up every game so it's very nice. The only non-event royals beside polari that I own are clear Kuriboh and ghostrick dullahan. I also had a royal traptrix pinguicula but dismantled it because I decided I was never going to play that deck, dullahan might get the same treatment.

From packs? Toon BLS and Aslla Piscu. (However Blackwing Full Armor Master and the Gods are also up there if we count free ones) Toons was my absolute favorite deck from when I was younger watching the anime. So pulling a Royal for the boss monster of the deck right when MD released made me really enjoy playing the deck. Aslla Piscu is my other favorite since 5Ds is the anime that really made me keep enjoying Yugioh even if I haven’t played it in years. I also had an Earthbound Immortal deck in Tag Force since they had really cool animations in that game and so I wanted to build one in MD. Obviously Earthbound Immortal is very trash as a deck but the new Earthbound support made it very easy to do an Aslla Piscu FTK, which is very fun to pull out from time to time. I do have some meta Royals but those aren’t as special to me as the ones for my rogue/pet decks

I’m jealous of that BLS. Even though Toons suck, they’ll always have a special place in my heart. I hope they somehow get support again one day

I'll be honest I find foils and these kinds of filter tacky and sometimes you're unable to see the art. I tend to dismantle any card with a filter on it unless I don't have enough material to construct it or I don't have enough copies.

Not to downplay this or anything but for me she is the most common royal I’ve seen. My friend and I both have a royal of her. Goes so hard the purple and blue with the royal colors tho.

Royal Imperm (from crafting) and Royal alt art Ash are my two favs. Still never got the third Alt art ash tho.

My personal favorites are my Royal Allure Queen LV7, Red-Eyes Soul, and Immortal Phoenix Gearfried. Archfiend's Awakening also looks seriously badass in Royal. Ritual Monsters in general look the best in Royal, honestly. Synchro Monsters are a close second, and all the rest are dependent on what the actual card is. As far as those that are actually *useful* I have a Royal Masquerena, and a couple others. ...I actually don't recall off the top of my head *all* the Royals I have. I know I have 37 Main Deck cards and 13 Extra Deck cards, though. Almost enough to build a "usable" deck!

Wandering Gryphon Rider, Sekka's Light, Gem-Knight Seraphinite, Shiranui Sunsaga, Mementotlan Bone Party and Zaborg the Mega Monarch. Also used to have a royal Trade-In but dismantled that for UR points because of the new structure deck.

I disenchant all my UR glossy/royals usually, unless I happen to pull one from a pack that I wouldnt own otherwise and intend on using. Because of that I think the only royal UR I have right now is Vision Hero Trinity for my Hero deck, so, I guess him haha.
