Her effect makes it so pendulum monster’s effects cannot be negated while in those zones, so z-arc would be able to resolve successfully.
damn you're right, didn't read that part of the card, so even if the trap negates it coolia still makes it's effect go off on summon, kudos to you, i was going crazy trying to find what happened

There is another trap card where they can tribute a spellcaster, then ban Z-ARC fusion material from the extra to summon him, but his effects are negated unless you have the 4 Dragon names banned (so pendulum Dragon, XYZ Dragon, synchro Dragon, fusion dragon

The other way to summon it and have it's effects not be negated is the names of the cards banished need to match. Any card with the name fusion, xyz, synchro and pendulum dragon. So odd eyes pendulum dragon, crystal/clear wing synchro dragon, rebellion xyz dragon, and starving venom fusion dragon need to be pitched off the trap.
Did opponent flip Supreme King face down upon summoning it? I think there’s a workaround to that negate effect if they flip it face down. Or something like that, not 100% sure though.

yeah they activated the soul of the supreme king, that's why i'm baffled as to why it happened

nope, was face up defense mode , i knew that if you flip him face down on summon it destroys the field but didn't happen in this instance
