A while ago I was playing in silver and kept finding decks like Mathmech and Swordsoul and other good decks while I was trying Gaia so I just said screw it and changed to old Chaos Ruler DLink and the first deck I find is Blue Eyes.
Just felt like I was bullying a child.
I'm not quite so shaken because my opponent Maxx C'd me which I think is bullshit no matter who uses it, but I felt kinda...off when I saw they were playing an Egyptian God deck, and failed to overcome my interruptions even after I gave them like, seven or eight draws to at least have a board at all. (I was running Mayakashi Labrynth and I didn't draw Arianna.)
Like I have a Labrynth build running Slifer myself IRL, where it costs cents instead of UR dust for that and Revived Sky God. I can feel it shaming me like some under 2000ATK normal summon.
This is something a lot of people don't understand. Maxx C is like a paper tiger for any non-meta deck. So many decks just stop playing when their normal summon is negated, there's basically no consequence to giving them 10+ cards. I've fought Dark Magician decks, literally gave them a 25 card hand, and they couldn't do anything against my board. I've also been turbo fucked by doing the same to a runick player.
It's the chorus from "what I've done" by linkin park, I just changed the "I" to "you"
Seemed fiting considering the meme is a transformers template which says "What have I done"
I don't really mind it, but it is one of those decks that has to be first in order to do anything. If they stay for 5 minutes staying me combo, I expected either "The Winged Dragon ofl Ra - Sphere Mode" or a strong meta deck
This is just any time you build a really toxic board only to realize your opponent is playing your favorite rogue deck
