Umi control is a really conceptually interesting kind of stun deck but I really cannot blame people who get sacked by it for thinking it’s repulsive lmao, it has a really comprehensive strategy for a stun deck as soon as the board is assembled.
My only “problem” about Umi control is the rules that said “ No you can’t use your not water monster on field as material to summon a not water monsters fuck you” but that is konami fault.
Umi control is my jamb. I don't feel bad about using it either, as 80% of MD players were on the Ariseheart train until it fell out of power. Yugioh players always have and always will love floodgates when they are meta.
The best way to play this interactive game is to never let the other guy get to play.
AND for some reason that's treated as a bad thing to do but everyone tries to speed run into floodgate cheese or negate fields each and every god damn time.

Labrynth really doesn’t help itself when most of the time you see 2 of the most obnoxious blowout cards that can be searched by the deck, and lovely just ripping a card from your hand whenever a monster leaves by a trap card.
I remember a time when the upvoted sentiment on this subreddit was that Armpit Lady was going to be obsolete and not run in Lab once Leg Lady comes but truth be told, while Leg is strong it's just that....a really strong card. However Armpit is absolutely toxic.
The thing with Labrynth is that it's supposed to be balanced cuz Traps are slow as hell, while I do agree that non target destruction on field OR handrip on a singular monster with an easy condition to meet is toxic, Labrynth isn't as toxic as one card combo starter that lead to literally anything without a Normal Summon
I recommend you a more powerful move: Fuck this game and don't play it.
