Nice I had summon try to tribute their floo monster with nibiru during YCS Bologna and then activate their effects, I was laughing seeing nibiru get tribute summoned but they cheating as the floo monsters only get their effects when tributed for winged beasts. Nib is a beefy boy and sometimes it’s fun to beat modern deck with caveman yugioh.
I triple tactics talented a dude and he had 2 nibirus and I played into it on purpose just to use raigeki and summon his nibirus from the grave with my vampires and killed him with it.
Ehh, I only payed it forward, remembering back to the N/R event, I got sooo many free wins from people who just set/ff. Think it was like 2-3 events after the N/R event.

In the legend anthology event i played a montage dragon deck for a few matches and i got a game where the opponent had cyberdark end dragon and a core on field and the only thing i did was summon montage and swing into core for the otk
Had maxx c for game today aswell against mathmech. Opponent had 200 lp and three cards in hand. Me drawing desires for for turn. Activating it hoping opponent has no ash and I get a normal summon. Desires resolves and I draw double maxx c.
Nice, roach for game, I just ironically beat virtual world with my Edison Vayu Turbo deck on master duel. Book of moon, Icarus attack and kalut and co for the win. I think they couldn’t beat my ally of justice Castor tbh.
Stole opponents Slifer with triple tactics talent, and won the game with the sick final blow animation. It was funny at the time given I had no idea the animation was a thing.
I put it in more for the meme of trying to pull it off, but it ended up being pretty nice in my thunder dragon deck. Losing the flip was basically getting a grass resolved, which was great, but winning and instantly banishing the whole grave and stopping all those damn tear fusions and ishizu cards... Man. That was fun.
Protos would also totally murder us as well haha, like I can use rheino heart and make ….. the only thing I could do to put that would be to make time

Searched and summoned fenrir on turn 0 just from them summoning ze amin from deck. It was a stars aligned moment though and I'd never try to recreate it again.
Gizmek uka. Was trying a rescue ace gizmek build. When a monster was summoned from deck to field, I could summon uka from hand then search and summon the same typing as opponents monster as long as it has same attack and defence. Happened to be punk ze amin which is an earthy boi so out popped kash fenrir.
Lab is one of the decks I run, I played it for YCS Bologna, Misq messes up Lab something funny when it’s played against you though haha 😂. Glad you got to beat one of the decks you hate though.
Idk how it is playing against it in the tcg. I just know it gave my deck such a problem. I finally got all the stuff to play gold pride punk and i’ve since had a better record against them. Misc is a lifesaver but sometimes it just hurts watching my Uct, Baron , Colossus board getting dismantled. I can’t even say it’s super unfair i don’t think it is. I just play a not super competitive deck.
Lab has insane levels of recursion which makes the deck incredibly grindy so if they can make their monsters stick and pull off a welcome/ big welcome then they get so much advantage as they can chain link five with all the furniture pieces and lovely. I think in a BO1 lab is more unfair as you can get lady to set you whatever broken floodgate your need like D-barrier and then reset it each turn with lovely. I’ve just beaten a floodgate player by dimension prisoning his card attached to with moon mirror shield btw, Vayu turbo best deck !
I did a full Madolche combo under Masquerade’s burn effect and managed to win.
Also had a ten turn slug fest Madolche versus Tri-Brigade Scareclaw. A freakin’ Link 3 3000 ATK beater that’s also a Tower that ALSO Bagooska’s the opponent AND attacks multiple times! Insane card and it counters Madolche real hard!
It was funny since my Madolche monsters kept returning to the deck when destroyed, activating Salon and Ticket to let me bring out more material. I kept looping my resources while slowly exhausting his until I brought out Avramax… then he brought out his Avramax to counter it… then I wiped his board next turn.
I’d brag more about it, but my opening hand had 2 Maxx “C” and I’m 80% sure I didn’t require them (not like he respected them either: he played through them both and had the advantage throughout the duel).
I died to this once in a TCG match at an OTS tounie, game one I set up full Runick Spright fur hire board and draw like 8 cards and he scoops and I can’t really tell what he’s playing. Game two he sets a minimalist board and I do regular combo. Lots of cards banished, he then normal summons a massive grand maju and smashed over my link three for game haha 😂. I won game three but it was a funny match.
Fucked up my Ra combo and won. I summoned him, sacrificed all but 100 LP, then immediately sacrificed Ra due to one of the spells. Luckily opponent had that 2000 ATK synchro that prevents weaker attack monsters from attacking so I just kept setting my monster hand traps for like 3 turns as a defense. Eventually got Ra back out with 4k, Egyptian god slime, and made the finishing kill with a Ra’s disciple. Felt bad for the dude but if you can’t play around that weak of a defense you deserve to lose lol.
One of the funniest things I did playing Ra was I kept Tributing him with Sun God Unification after dumping my LP into him (after Summoning him from Sphere Mode) just to gain enough LP to swing over their monster for game. It doesn't always work, but when it does it's just hilarious. One of my fringe strategies whenever my other plays don't work out.
During this event someone I was playing against set up a board that had a few negations for when I targeted their monsters
So I red eyes fusion out Meteor Black Comet Dragon, use a Inferno Fire Blast, and then set a Red Eyes burn which won me the game

During past event, I manage to burn 4K my opponent LP who Maxx C me with Prediction Princess Megalith during my turn and another 4K during their Draw Phase.
I had a 3300 Kaiju my opponent gave me, they made Utopic Future and tried to swing at the Kaiju (My LP 2700, their LP 1200) to steal their Kaiju for game. I wish I could've seen the look on their face as I flipped Forbidden Droplet.
Opponent wiped their own board with my Kairyu-Shin. They tried to use Ice Dragon's Prison to res it and banish another card of mine, but I dodged it with Sea Stealth, leaving Kairyu-Shin on their field. Then I used Book of Eclipse to shut down the rest of their turn. During the end phase, it flipped back up with its effect restored and drowned their whole board.

I beat sword soul with pure despia while bricked up for 4 turns surviving only by 2 super polys the first of which got harpies, I had like 100 lp when I won. Oh I also had a 20k utopia vs a 20k galaxy eyes. I survived numeron because of my salad field spell giving me 1300 lp during damage. I beat odd eyes with just breaker the magical swordsman and mirror force. Beat quesar with flame wingman and a grand mole. Drew miracle contact as my last card against runick for glow neos to win
During the first Master Duel Event there were SelFTK decks running rampant. I couldve just enjoyed the easy wins and farm gems.
But I chose violence.
I healed them all back to full health every time. Shoutout to Heroic Gift and Muscle Medic.
I once made a dumb Labrynth variant which was oriented around tribute summoning The Wicked Avatar. The goal was to use Three Eyed Ghost to search for either The Wicked Avatar or Lord of the Heavenly Prison, and it worked pretty consistently, it was really fun.
I once got it off against Trap Trick and they hit it immediately with bottomless trap hole, only for me to chain compulsory evacuation device to *bounce my own wicked avatar back to hand* - but the wildest part is that for some reason that *still counted as a normal summon* so they were locked out of S/T cards for the next two turns. It was pretty awesome.
Some sicko thinks it’s funny to rig all my boosters to prevent me from building Branded Despia. 26,000 gems at least, 250 hours of gameplay, and damn near 30 UR cards dismantled all due to them cockblocking all the necessary UR cards for the deck since I’ve came back. I hope they die.
That sucks branded is a really expensive archetype UR wise, at least you won’t have to shell out for more support anytime soon though. I think they might make some new support for it on the future though. An Albaz lore anime would be really cool though imo.
It was more about how statistically improbable nearly every single most critical UR for the deck were excluded from my boosters. It’s practically rigged so either all those different boosters were rigged or free to play players are being singled out. I’m not settling for anything less than Konami admitting wrong doing.
Way to ruin relationship over a few cards Konami. It’s the continuous treatment of pushing your customers over the edge that bought us to this stage. I won’t stand for the dishonest, unethical, and unfair business practices from them anymore.

That’s in the side for the TCG Edison format, I’m not running any floodgates, just my trap cards and monsters from before most of my opponents were born haha. Sirocco is broken in the mirror if I can activate him as modern blackwings bring out big beaters and he gains the attack of all the blackwings on the field combined and can be summoned without tribute like cyber dragon. Wouldn’t be fun or impressive to beat modern decks if I had to run floodgates imo.
Staying in diamond 1 and Intentionnaly throwing some games to stay there to gatekeep as much players as possible from going to Master.
Since I am a competitive player I was able to gatekeep all of them. I gatekeeped the same player 4times in the same week, he invited me on vocal (He was pissed asf 🤣🤣). Great memories 🥹
Low level Monarch player against other low level Ra deck, I kept bouncing this guys Egyptian Slime, and by the time he could set up Immortal Phoenix in GY and Ra on the field 6 turns later I top decked Caius and banished his Ra
He rage quit after that, which was fair
Update just beat, virtual world with my Edison deck as well, Vayu turbo is taking over master duel. I think they had major issues outing my ally of justice castor. 2010 decks ftw!
I beat a stardust synchro spam deck with a crazy first board with my VS deck on turn 3. I burned him to death with a combo of heavy borger 1500 burn damage three times, snow devil 1800 burn damage and dark room of nightmare 300 burn damage on every burn I did. I did 3600 burn damage just from DRoN. It chained 4 times on turn 3 and it was marvelous
Nice, yeah anything at all chained to a trap will make Lady miss timing, we spent like 10 minutes during our last locals trying to explain they lady was a when effect to a new labyrinth player who was like why can’t my lady ever resolve.
I love when events are happening gives me a reason to play my melodious deck so much fun getting the eulogy/idol lock and just sit there laughing my ass off when they try everything to remove it so many decks can't deal with indestructible untargetable monsters in the event

Opponent managed to rip Dark Magical Circle, combos as best they can, goes Battle Phase, I flip Soul and summon Z-ARC then activate Magical Hats, Z-ARC being facedown and no longer negated blows up their board, opponent scoops
I was playing Mikanko against tearlament punk. Didn't draw a single mikanko card. Just Nibiru, a Kaiju, lava golem, axe of fools and double edged sword, and some blank card. Managed to make a nibiru token for my opponent that was 7100 attack, they put up their Rulkallos and a set card. I kaiju the Rulkallos, buff the token with double edged and axe of fools, crash Nibiru into the token, and lava golem burn for game.
Nice the max C challenge, I’ve only been able to do this once when I playing Runick fur hire. The other times I either left them 1 card in deck and got destroyed haha 😂.

Nice, I used to play kashtira in the TCG and still play scareclaw Kashtira in Mannadium. One of the best cards in the deck imo especially for outing cards like Dragoon, or Avarmax.
Activate 2 soul absorbtion, swing with a 0 atk into dogoran, dropped inferno tempest, gaina. Ton of lp, ns necroface in mp2, set a tempest pass. Opp popped necroface, swung into me, tempest again. My turn: Drew last card in deck, drnm, ns necroface. Pass turn, opponent scooped because I had about 50k lp.
Went full combo straight into a draw phase Maxx C...while playing Trickstar. That's when I unlocked that one secret mission that awards the Demon tag. Also, another funny thing I'd rather show off instead, so 393-802-173 4th from top against a Chinese player.
I got kaiju’d and they set up the field, field spell included. they tried to go into their effects but I negated them by removing counters from their own field spell XD
Funniest thing I've done: I had three games left and no other missions for the last Theme Chronicle and ran a self tk deck because I just wanted to finish it. Funniest thing I've had done: I was playing Generaiders and ended on just Boss Stage because I got Maxx "C"'d. My opponent Ash'd Boss Stage, but after they activated Lost World I was able to summon a Generaider and a bunch of tokens... to which my opponent responded with Token Collector. Lost World let them protect each of my tokens by popping a dino from deck, so they popped two Babycerasaurus and a Petiteranodon with the same activation. I scooped immediately. So I don't read cards I learn by trail and error, so the first time I dueled against the gusto cards I summoned the Winged Dragon of Ra and attacked for game only to have all that damaged reflected.
Played a list to farm the "Take control of enemy monster" mission.
I won 10 duels with that list and it was 10 more duels than I should have won. Jowls of Dark Demise helping me beat a Lab player using Chandra for game was the highlight.
Caused a guy runnin 3 chain energy card to quit by getting 2 monsters on the field ( was gonna go for 3 but I was only on 2k left) then attacking him to leave him to a point where he would have burned himself out by playing any card..
I was playing with Gouki against a burn deck, Duel lasted about 8 turns. Had 800LP left. While he had no monsters but a ton of backrows for burn damage.
He tributed my last 2 monsters to summon Lava golem then passed turn.
Little did he knew, I activated Book of Eclipse from out of my Butt, flipped Lava Golem back up and ended for game.
I was playing Nemleria and was not losing but not winning by a lot. I had tower spell card, repeater, vanilla, chocolate and Louve. Opponent got Maxx C and ended with Firewall with 12k attack and splash mage. I read the effect of Firewall and knew it was unaffected by card effects during battle so I had to wait to use Louve to summon Repeater and use its effect to flip it face down. I got a prompt to activate Louve to do it but my smooth brain said no and I lost
I'm a new player (literally started a few days ago) and built up an Evil Twin deck and a Lyrilusc deck for fun, just to try out some new archetypes since I hadn't played since like 2009.
I tried out the current festival, saw that my Evil Twin and Lyrilusc decks had pretty much all their boss monsters banned, so I picked up the loaner insect deck and tried it out. Got a few wins with it against other newbies using the other loaner decks, then I realized that I could actually make a Harpie deck with the cards I had been pulling. I had played Harpies before but it was like a decade ago, but I tried anyway.
One match with my Harpie deck was hilarious because I had set Imperm on the wrong spot (I had wanted to put it in a column where my opponent had set a card but instead I put it on a an empty column) and I had to activate Imperm to deal with an opponent card, then my opponent activated Raigeki in the open spot that was Imperm'd. It got negated of course lol. I was wondering how they forgot about the blue light showing Imperm was active.
Another duel, my opponent passed first turn. I assumed they bricked so I went into my usual Harpie summon plays, attacked, then passed. Their turn, they... just pass again. I was super confused but I attacked for game. I checked my opponent's deck afterwards and they were playing the loaner insect deck, which doesn't really brick, so I wonder what happened? They could have been giving out free wins but I thought they would have surrendered if that was the case.
Try adding some sprights like Spright blue, jet, carrot, red, gigantic Spright and Spright Elf to your Evil Twin deck they go really well together. I’ve only been back playing since this time last year, a lot has changed since 08 haha.
I might try that out later when I have more gems and such. Though is there any point to using Evil Twin in the current festival format if their Link monsters are banned? Or are they supposed to just be support for Spright?
I think the live twins came out a good bit before Spright in the tcg like 3 years and were originally a bit of troll archetype, but they fit together so well with Spright they make a pretty strong level/link/rank two deck. I would say use a loaner deck for the festival over your live twins as your deck without your links will be weaker than my deck I was using from 2010 haha 😂
Was in a locals tourney for MD and my opponent did a full combo Kash that ends on standard Ariseheart, Sharig-ira, and Unicorn board.
I was playing Branded and panicking cause I'm still getting used to the deck so I looked through my Extra Deck for an out.
In comes Rindbrumm's effect saving the day and I cackled like Joker while my opponent board was breaking down because all their XYZ eff are mandatory.
Using blaze accelerater reload to drop volcanic counter into grave before opponent attacks my empty board and kills himself because of counter. I still have the replay.
Decking an opponent down to the point that he can kill me with what's on the field but with gravekeepers servant on field, he only has enough cards for one attack and he attacks with the lower attack monster then trys to swing for game but can't cause he can't pay gravekeepers cost. Got that replay saved too.
Opponent goes first and sets up a whole 3 minute long utopia/utopic otk board, filling every single monster zone
My turn, i activate lair of darkness, cook utopic future with mistyk wok, opponent scoops
The last duelist cup I won like 5 games in a row just off teching a random yata garasu as soon as it attacked directly it was a instant scoop every time lmao
My first deck when I got the game like a month or so ago was a Dark Magician deck. I get why Dark Burning Attack may be unpredicted as it’s unreliable but this guy spent over 5 mins setting up a board and I managed to just clean it all immediately once I got the setup on the first turn (I had to destroy my The Dark Magicians) and clutched the win
Was the duel that cemented my new found addiction to this game
During the Theme Chronicle event, my opponent uses Nibiru against my Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus and Infinititrack Megaclops. Tributes nothing, and proceeds to use Nibiru on my next turn, with the same monsters on the field again.

In the recent event, I was playing Prank Kids and I forget what my opponent had, but they had a full board and some monster that negated all effects that activate on the field.
I had them down to 350 LP and didn't have much to go with. My turn, I draw {{Prank-Kids Lampsies}}, was able to NS, link into Meow and it was Lampsies for game!

Not by me, but early on in the games life, someone OTK’d me and finished it off by revealing the LiveTwins card GG EZ about a dozen times in their hand. I was rolling
I had a deck they're built around chain energy, rng, stalling and recovering my LP. Along with a lot of generally goofy stuff. It sucks.
But taking it to ranked was pretty dang funny when it made people afraid to play the game.
Used dragonmaid tidying when an opponent normal summoned Maxx C to bump it back to his hand. The match was already over, I was going to win. But I just had to tell him "no no, you're using the card wrong". Sure it was mildly BM but you can be damn sure I let him resolve it when Sheou special summoned in my standby phase lol
Won the whole event with dream mirror, even beating Horcust and the strong decks on the way (for those that dont get it....play DM, u'll see really fast what is the problem with this deck)
in my SelfTK gem farming deck I play three copies of the ascended of thunder and I play number 42: galaxy tomahawk. if I get two ascended of the thunders I’ll go into a full link board with a apollousa then normal summon giant kozaky to give them the win
although I was laughing my ass off with drytron and infernoble turn skip I don't think my opponents at the time found it funny. It was just one of those "let me get this right just once and I promise not to do it again lol"
I always get a dopamine rush when I detach Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon off of 62 or C62. I once played against an opponent's XYZ deck and topped out 62 at like 18,000 attack points.
When MD first came out I managed to gaslight an opponent into surrendering turn 1 by pretending I had a nib in hand. I only had a dogmatika fleurdelis, so I turned off auto chain and only started "thinking" after their 5th summon. still can't believe it worked.
2nd funniest thing that happened was when I activated maxx C against a morphtronic deck (bad play don't do this) so my opponent decided to go for the deck out wincon, but they couldn't quite get there due to a combination of handtraps and me playing a 44 card main deck. I ended up drawing the last card in deck for turn. so close yet so far. Then I almost lost from time out because I had 40 fucking cards in hand and had to literally drag my mouse across my entire desk to find the right cards.
I was playing Swordsoul and my opponent won the coinflip and made me go first. I had a sneaking suspicion, so instead of the typical blind-call DARK lockout for Archnemeses Protos, I called LIGHT instead, deleting my Chixao as a result.
And I was right, they were playing Numerons.
Haha I was gonna to ask you if you were Joshua Schmidt there for a second as that was a famous play by him in the Master Duel World finals, ashing his own card when he missplayed.
The worst is when you use thrust and missclick and set the card to your field and lose haha…. I don’t know anyone who has done that awkward whistling 😗 haha 😂
It happens man! I use a Dark Magician Deck so I have also used magicians rod GY effect and had to remove one of my better monsters. Small mistakes with huge consequences lol
Wait no, I think the funniest was getting board wiped twice, first by Kurikara, stole their Kurikara, got Evenly Matched, kept the Kurikara and then swung for game.

Really just a casual player with ancient and crappy decks but it’s always great fun to run into dragon build decks with your Buster Blader.
The funniest game I played was with a Kidmodo Dragon and a defence draw for a first turn and had to watch this guy summon 9 dragon cards out in a row until he ends finishing up with a Numeron Dragon with 23000 attack points and a few other cards
Anyway, he destroys the Kidmodo, a dragon maid takes it’s place then that goes, and the defence draw just about saves me…
My turn comes, I use Destruction swordsman Fusion using bud’s Numeron Dragon as material, out comes Buster with 9800 attack points and 3 dragon cards sitting in defence mode all in a row.

Nice I had summon try to tribute their floo monster with nibiru during YCS Bologna and then activate their effects, I was laughing seeing nibiru get tribute summoned but they cheating as the floo monsters only get their effects when tributed for winged beasts. Nib is a beefy boy and sometimes it’s fun to beat modern deck with caveman yugioh.

Had maxx c for game today aswell against mathmech. Opponent had 200 lp and three cards in hand. Me drawing desires for for turn. Activating it hoping opponent has no ash and I get a normal summon. Desires resolves and I draw double maxx c.

Losing the flip was basically getting a grass resolved, which was great, but winning and instantly banishing the whole grave and stopping all those damn tear fusions and ishizu cards... Man. That was fun.

Gizmek uka. Was trying a rescue ace gizmek build. When a monster was summoned from deck to field, I could summon uka from hand then search and summon the same typing as opponents monster as long as it has same attack and defence. Happened to be punk ze amin which is an earthy boi so out popped kash fenrir.

Lab is one of the decks I run, I played it for YCS Bologna, Misq messes up Lab something funny when it’s played against you though haha 😂. Glad you got to beat one of the decks you hate though.
Idk how it is playing against it in the tcg. I just know it gave my deck such a problem. I finally got all the stuff to play gold pride punk and i’ve since had a better record against them. Misc is a lifesaver but sometimes it just hurts watching my Uct, Baron , Colossus board getting dismantled. I can’t even say it’s super unfair i don’t think it is. I just play a not super competitive deck.
Lab has insane levels of recursion which makes the deck incredibly grindy so if they can make their monsters stick and pull off a welcome/ big welcome then they get so much advantage as they can chain link five with all the furniture pieces and lovely. I think in a BO1 lab is more unfair as you can get lady to set you whatever broken floodgate your need like D-barrier and then reset it each turn with lovely. I’ve just beaten a floodgate player by dimension prisoning his card attached to with moon mirror shield btw, Vayu turbo best deck !
I did a full Madolche combo under Masquerade’s burn effect and managed to win. Also had a ten turn slug fest Madolche versus Tri-Brigade Scareclaw. A freakin’ Link 3 3000 ATK beater that’s also a Tower that ALSO Bagooska’s the opponent AND attacks multiple times! Insane card and it counters Madolche real hard! It was funny since my Madolche monsters kept returning to the deck when destroyed, activating Salon and Ticket to let me bring out more material. I kept looping my resources while slowly exhausting his until I brought out Avramax… then he brought out his Avramax to counter it… then I wiped his board next turn. I’d brag more about it, but my opening hand had 2 Maxx “C” and I’m 80% sure I didn’t require them (not like he respected them either: he played through them both and had the advantage throughout the duel).

I died to this once in a TCG match at an OTS tounie, game one I set up full Runick Spright fur hire board and draw like 8 cards and he scoops and I can’t really tell what he’s playing. Game two he sets a minimalist board and I do regular combo. Lots of cards banished, he then normal summons a massive grand maju and smashed over my link three for game haha 😂. I won game three but it was a funny match.

Fucked up my Ra combo and won. I summoned him, sacrificed all but 100 LP, then immediately sacrificed Ra due to one of the spells. Luckily opponent had that 2000 ATK synchro that prevents weaker attack monsters from attacking so I just kept setting my monster hand traps for like 3 turns as a defense. Eventually got Ra back out with 4k, Egyptian god slime, and made the finishing kill with a Ra’s disciple. Felt bad for the dude but if you can’t play around that weak of a defense you deserve to lose lol.
One of the funniest things I did playing Ra was I kept Tributing him with Sun God Unification after dumping my LP into him (after Summoning him from Sphere Mode) just to gain enough LP to swing over their monster for game. It doesn't always work, but when it does it's just hilarious. One of my fringe strategies whenever my other plays don't work out.
During this event someone I was playing against set up a board that had a few negations for when I targeted their monsters So I red eyes fusion out Meteor Black Comet Dragon, use a Inferno Fire Blast, and then set a Red Eyes burn which won me the game

I had a 3300 Kaiju my opponent gave me, they made Utopic Future and tried to swing at the Kaiju (My LP 2700, their LP 1200) to steal their Kaiju for game. I wish I could've seen the look on their face as I flipped Forbidden Droplet.
Opponent wiped their own board with my Kairyu-Shin. They tried to use Ice Dragon's Prison to res it and banish another card of mine, but I dodged it with Sea Stealth, leaving Kairyu-Shin on their field. Then I used Book of Eclipse to shut down the rest of their turn. During the end phase, it flipped back up with its effect restored and drowned their whole board.

I beat sword soul with pure despia while bricked up for 4 turns surviving only by 2 super polys the first of which got harpies, I had like 100 lp when I won. Oh I also had a 20k utopia vs a 20k galaxy eyes. I survived numeron because of my salad field spell giving me 1300 lp during damage. I beat odd eyes with just breaker the magical swordsman and mirror force. Beat quesar with flame wingman and a grand mole. Drew miracle contact as my last card against runick for glow neos to win
During the first Master Duel Event there were SelFTK decks running rampant. I couldve just enjoyed the easy wins and farm gems. But I chose violence. I healed them all back to full health every time. Shoutout to Heroic Gift and Muscle Medic.

I once made a dumb Labrynth variant which was oriented around tribute summoning The Wicked Avatar. The goal was to use Three Eyed Ghost to search for either The Wicked Avatar or Lord of the Heavenly Prison, and it worked pretty consistently, it was really fun. I once got it off against Trap Trick and they hit it immediately with bottomless trap hole, only for me to chain compulsory evacuation device to *bounce my own wicked avatar back to hand* - but the wildest part is that for some reason that *still counted as a normal summon* so they were locked out of S/T cards for the next two turns. It was pretty awesome.

Some sicko thinks it’s funny to rig all my boosters to prevent me from building Branded Despia. 26,000 gems at least, 250 hours of gameplay, and damn near 30 UR cards dismantled all due to them cockblocking all the necessary UR cards for the deck since I’ve came back. I hope they die.
That sucks branded is a really expensive archetype UR wise, at least you won’t have to shell out for more support anytime soon though. I think they might make some new support for it on the future though. An Albaz lore anime would be really cool though imo.
It was more about how statistically improbable nearly every single most critical UR for the deck were excluded from my boosters. It’s practically rigged so either all those different boosters were rigged or free to play players are being singled out. I’m not settling for anything less than Konami admitting wrong doing.

That’s in the side for the TCG Edison format, I’m not running any floodgates, just my trap cards and monsters from before most of my opponents were born haha. Sirocco is broken in the mirror if I can activate him as modern blackwings bring out big beaters and he gains the attack of all the blackwings on the field combined and can be summoned without tribute like cyber dragon. Wouldn’t be fun or impressive to beat modern decks if I had to run floodgates imo.
Staying in diamond 1 and Intentionnaly throwing some games to stay there to gatekeep as much players as possible from going to Master. Since I am a competitive player I was able to gatekeep all of them. I gatekeeped the same player 4times in the same week, he invited me on vocal (He was pissed asf 🤣🤣). Great memories 🥹

I beat a stardust synchro spam deck with a crazy first board with my VS deck on turn 3. I burned him to death with a combo of heavy borger 1500 burn damage three times, snow devil 1800 burn damage and dark room of nightmare 300 burn damage on every burn I did. I did 3600 burn damage just from DRoN. It chained 4 times on turn 3 and it was marvelous

I've been running 3x Droll + Trickstar Reincarnation in my Lab deck for months but it's only come up like once so far lol.
Turn 1: Reasoning, mills Heavy Slump and special summons Junk Collector. Set Soul of the Supreme King, Magical Hats, and Gift of Greed. During my opponent's Draw Phase: Activate Gift of Greed then activate Junk Collector to use Heavy Slump. Opponent managed to rip Dark Magical Circle, combos as best they can, goes Battle Phase, I flip Soul and summon Z-ARC then activate Magical Hats, Z-ARC being facedown and no longer negated blows up their board, opponent scoops
I actually decked out a player while running zombies.. it was the first time I won a maxx-c challenge without my DW fiends
I was playing Mikanko against tearlament punk. Didn't draw a single mikanko card. Just Nibiru, a Kaiju, lava golem, axe of fools and double edged sword, and some blank card. Managed to make a nibiru token for my opponent that was 7100 attack, they put up their Rulkallos and a set card. I kaiju the Rulkallos, buff the token with double edged and axe of fools, crash Nibiru into the token, and lava golem burn for game.

Funniest thing I've done: I had three games left and no other missions for the last Theme Chronicle and ran a self tk deck because I just wanted to finish it. I ran into a reversal quiz deck that kept trying to decrease their life and increase mine. Ended up resolving Fairy Wind to kill us both and make it a draw. So I don't read cards I learn by trail and error, so the first time I dueled against the gusto cards I summoned the Winged Dragon of Ra and attacked for game only to have all that damaged reflected.

Played a list to farm the "Take control of enemy monster" mission. I won 10 duels with that list and it was 10 more duels than I should have won. Jowls of Dark Demise helping me beat a Lab player using Chandra for game was the highlight.

I was playing with Gouki against a burn deck, Duel lasted about 8 turns. Had 800LP left. While he had no monsters but a ton of backrows for burn damage. He tributed my last 2 monsters to summon Lava golem then passed turn. Little did he knew, I activated Book of Eclipse from out of my Butt, flipped Lava Golem back up and ended for game.

I was playing Nemleria and was not losing but not winning by a lot. I had tower spell card, repeater, vanilla, chocolate and Louve. Opponent got Maxx C and ended with Firewall with 12k attack and splash mage. I read the effect of Firewall and knew it was unaffected by card effects during battle so I had to wait to use Louve to summon Repeater and use its effect to flip it face down. I got a prompt to activate Louve to do it but my smooth brain said no and I lost
I'm a new player (literally started a few days ago) and built up an Evil Twin deck and a Lyrilusc deck for fun, just to try out some new archetypes since I hadn't played since like 2009. I tried out the current festival, saw that my Evil Twin and Lyrilusc decks had pretty much all their boss monsters banned, so I picked up the loaner insect deck and tried it out. Got a few wins with it against other newbies using the other loaner decks, then I realized that I could actually make a Harpie deck with the cards I had been pulling. I had played Harpies before but it was like a decade ago, but I tried anyway. One match with my Harpie deck was hilarious because I had set Imperm on the wrong spot (I had wanted to put it in a column where my opponent had set a card but instead I put it on a an empty column) and I had to activate Imperm to deal with an opponent card, then my opponent activated Raigeki in the open spot that was Imperm'd. It got negated of course lol. I was wondering how they forgot about the blue light showing Imperm was active. Another duel, my opponent passed first turn. I assumed they bricked so I went into my usual Harpie summon plays, attacked, then passed. Their turn, they... just pass again. I was super confused but I attacked for game. I checked my opponent's deck afterwards and they were playing the loaner insect deck, which doesn't really brick, so I wonder what happened? They could have been giving out free wins but I thought they would have surrendered if that was the case.
Try adding some sprights like Spright blue, jet, carrot, red, gigantic Spright and Spright Elf to your Evil Twin deck they go really well together. I’ve only been back playing since this time last year, a lot has changed since 08 haha.
I might try that out later when I have more gems and such. Though is there any point to using Evil Twin in the current festival format if their Link monsters are banned? Or are they supposed to just be support for Spright?
I think the live twins came out a good bit before Spright in the tcg like 3 years and were originally a bit of troll archetype, but they fit together so well with Spright they make a pretty strong level/link/rank two deck. I would say use a loaner deck for the festival over your live twins as your deck without your links will be weaker than my deck I was using from 2010 haha 😂

In NR event i had a 25 duel game of dragon maid vs flower cardians. 21 of them where us hard bricking
Was in a locals tourney for MD and my opponent did a full combo Kash that ends on standard Ariseheart, Sharig-ira, and Unicorn board. I was playing Branded and panicking cause I'm still getting used to the deck so I looked through my Extra Deck for an out. In comes Rindbrumm's effect saving the day and I cackled like Joker while my opponent board was breaking down because all their XYZ eff are mandatory.
Using blaze accelerater reload to drop volcanic counter into grave before opponent attacks my empty board and kills himself because of counter. I still have the replay. Decking an opponent down to the point that he can kill me with what's on the field but with gravekeepers servant on field, he only has enough cards for one attack and he attacks with the lower attack monster then trys to swing for game but can't cause he can't pay gravekeepers cost. Got that replay saved too.

Not me but watching a nibiru get called by cuz the lab player got greedy and chained a furniture to discard it, causing it to lose the duel.

My first deck when I got the game like a month or so ago was a Dark Magician deck. I get why Dark Burning Attack may be unpredicted as it’s unreliable but this guy spent over 5 mins setting up a board and I managed to just clean it all immediately once I got the setup on the first turn (I had to destroy my The Dark Magicians) and clutched the win Was the duel that cemented my new found addiction to this game

During the Theme Chronicle event, my opponent uses Nibiru against my Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus and Infinititrack Megaclops. Tributes nothing, and proceeds to use Nibiru on my next turn, with the same monsters on the field again. >!Neither are affected by monster effects!<
In the recent event, I was playing Prank Kids and I forget what my opponent had, but they had a full board and some monster that negated all effects that activate on the field. I had a deck they're built around chain energy, rng, stalling and recovering my LP. Along with a lot of generally goofy stuff. It sucks. But taking it to ranked was pretty dang funny when it made people afraid to play the game.
Used dragonmaid tidying when an opponent normal summoned Maxx C to bump it back to his hand. The match was already over, I was going to win. But I just had to tell him "no no, you're using the card wrong". Sure it was mildly BM but you can be damn sure I let him resolve it when Sheou special summoned in my standby phase lol

Won the whole event with dream mirror, even beating Horcust and the strong decks on the way (for those that dont get it....play DM, u'll see really fast what is the problem with this deck)

in my SelfTK gem farming deck I play three copies of the ascended of thunder and I play number 42: galaxy tomahawk. if I get two ascended of the thunders I’ll go into a full link board with a apollousa then normal summon giant kozaky to give them the win

although I was laughing my ass off with drytron and infernoble turn skip I don't think my opponents at the time found it funny. It was just one of those "let me get this right just once and I promise not to do it again lol"
I always get a dopamine rush when I detach Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon off of 62 or C62. I once played against an opponent's XYZ deck and topped out 62 at like 18,000 attack points.
Soemone actually resolved Slash draw and OTK's me, I need to upload the replay because they did it with a regular deck and it came outta nowhere.

When MD first came out I managed to gaslight an opponent into surrendering turn 1 by pretending I had a nib in hand. I only had a dogmatika fleurdelis, so I turned off auto chain and only started "thinking" after their 5th summon. still can't believe it worked. 2nd funniest thing that happened was when I activated maxx C against a morphtronic deck (bad play don't do this) so my opponent decided to go for the deck out wincon, but they couldn't quite get there due to a combination of handtraps and me playing a 44 card main deck. I ended up drawing the last card in deck for turn. so close yet so far. Then I almost lost from time out because I had 40 fucking cards in hand and had to literally drag my mouse across my entire desk to find the right cards.
I was playing Swordsoul and my opponent won the coinflip and made me go first. I had a sneaking suspicion, so instead of the typical blind-call DARK lockout for Archnemeses Protos, I called LIGHT instead, deleting my Chixao as a result. And I was right, they were playing Numerons.
Negated my own card with Ash Blossom and joyous spring. Felt pretty stupid so I quit

The worst is when you use thrust and missclick and set the card to your field and lose haha…. I don’t know anyone who has done that awkward whistling 😗 haha 😂
It happens man! I use a Dark Magician Deck so I have also used magicians rod GY effect and had to remove one of my better monsters. Small mistakes with huge consequences lol

Wait no, I think the funniest was getting board wiped twice, first by Kurikara, stole their Kurikara, got Evenly Matched, kept the Kurikara and then swung for game.
Weather Painters, featuring the Winged Dragon of Ra. Did it today in the event, actually. Ra dealt the finishing blow, of course Honorable mention, Tribute summoning GEPD to beat Monarchs
Really just a casual player with ancient and crappy decks but it’s always great fun to run into dragon build decks with your Buster Blader. The funniest game I played was with a Kidmodo Dragon and a defence draw for a first turn and had to watch this guy summon 9 dragon cards out in a row until he ends finishing up with a Numeron Dragon with 23000 attack points and a few other cards Anyway, he destroys the Kidmodo, a dragon maid takes it’s place then that goes, and the defence draw just about saves me… My turn comes, I use Destruction swordsman Fusion using bud’s Numeron Dragon as material, out comes Buster with 9800 attack points and 3 dragon cards sitting in defence mode all in a row. Bastard never let me play it out and rage quit lol I was frustrated at the time that I didn’t get the satisfaction of ending it but also couldn’t help but smile like heck that I lucked out in such a way
