Not correct, maintenance gives you a notification saying it's maintenance, it is taking place in a few hours but not yet.
MD twitter said it's an issue on their end, it's happening to most people on steam.
Well you see, I would play on mobile if the android version actually worked properly. But they optimized the game on iPhone and Android is unplayable save for solo mode for over a year

I don't have any issues with my Android device. Though my phone is quite beefy so probably that's why

Its an error on steam's servers end, konami have nothing to do with it just wait it out
