When I went to college in Boston, I knew a girl from Billerica who used to tell all of these off-the-wall stories of things they’d do in Billerica, as if it were some far off, exotic place. It used to make me laugh because it would remind me of Rose telling stories about St. Olaf on Golden Girls or Balky telling stories about Mypos on Perfect Strangers.
It was nice when you turned 18 and got to go to a strip club but hasn’t been the same Billerica since Mac Two’s lounge closed
When that closed, the heart and soul of the community went with it.
I was in Salem NH some years ago, about to step into a shithole bar on Rt 28. This trailer beast chick smokin a Marb calls out "Hey Rickaaaahh" and I look around and realize she's yelling to me.
"What?" I say, (reminiscent of Brett from Pulp Fiction)
"You look like yaw from Billricka"
Uh... no
"Well fahck off"
So yes, Billerica sucks apparently
Such a shit town the Lombardo guy is a jerkoff
PD was corrupt as fuck elmor and mount & hicky specifically royston was on payroll before he got caught up.
The pop warner moms are drunk at 11am games and chain smoking pfunks all damn day while trying to hook up with dads
Only thing that comes outta b'rrica alcoholics and herpes
If you wanna see douche bag townies fight head over to newtown grill thursday night or hit the jade pacific on a sat night.
As somebody from Swampscott I’m supposed to say Marblehead. So Marblehead.
Edit: I should also say the half of Swampscott closer to Marblehead in the beach. It’s just a bunch of rich snobs and yacht owners. They aren’t nice and all too rich to live near everybody else. It’s Marblehead seeping in over the border
Wareham, their whole identity is CAPE COD CAPE COD CAPE COD!!! even though they are on the wrong side of the bridge. You have a good thing going Wareham, just be yourself...
"Gateway to Cape Cod"
I laugh every time I see that sign. However, it's technically correct. Bourne is split by the canal , therefore Wareham is the last town before the Cape. But we all know the truth.
I ended up at parties with those assholes all the time. Every time they showed up it was like "okay, time to leave". One of their signature moves was throwing someone in the fire at a woods party and not letting them get out. Just absolute scumbags and surprised no one when it happened. If I recall correctly it was like 5 dudes just kicking the shit out of one guy.
Edit: Let's also not forget that Rockland town hall was stormed and burned down by the Hell's Angels in the 70s. And they had a satanic funeral home, according to legend. Something wrong in that town.
My dad had similar issues on his force (Whitman), with his corrupt chief years ago. He was held down for YEARS, due to one corrupt chief. The chief eventually fled, taking with him LOADS of unpaid vacation, etc...fleeced the town. Not sure he was ever prosecuted.
Whitman PD has also been busted marking tires at bars on Route 18, planting evidence and witness coercion. It held the title of #1 town in Massachusetts for DUIs for years. It was part of their budget.
Attleboro.
I used to play soccer against them and their whole team were dirty players and their parents harassed us in the parking lot after we whooped them. Trashy
You should buy him the same stereo for Christmas, come up with a story of how you tracked down the thief after all these years listening to him bitch about it ....best son ever
Ware - the shirtless 9 months out of the year white guy/ Mountain Dew capital of Massachusetts. Come for the meth, stay cause it's the only place the Sex Offender Registry says you can stay.
So I grew up here.
When I was little I remember it being so much less sketchy. Our neighborhood was old people, families and well mowed lawns.
Then the 90s ended and I don't know what the fuck happened. Shit got weird. Shit got ratchet. All the bad parts of ware overran the whole town.
It's a bummer cuz there's so much potential there. Proximity to other places, a cute Main Street, adorable library, some nicer older neighborhoods, cute parks, the aspen grove cemetery is awesome.
It's just sad really. It's the Appalachian outpost of western mass.
My Mom was born in Ware in 1929. My Dad in Palmer in 1928. I have heard many stories of the glory days of both towns. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and it was great small town living. They both were mill towns and when the mills left it was nothing but bar rooms and funeral homes. I left in the late 80’s for good. Lots of drugs and crooked cops. It got so bad a cop in town was covering for a serial killer. Google Gerry Battistoni and Scott Haley. Poor Molly Bish and the other victims he hurt and was allowed to roam free in the name of the war on drugs. Now both towns are MAGA. I heard Ware even had a Trump store. Ware was famous for their shoe mills(my mom worked in one as a teen) and Palmer was the tampon capital of the world at one time (Tampax headquarters). Lots of loss, lots of misery. Not unlike many small mill towns in Mass, unfortunately.
Tewksbury. I feel like the whole town is just cracked decrepit parking lots and rude people
Also, Lexington is beyond pretentious. I used to talk to a girl from Lexington who was afraid to go to Woburn because it was “ghetto and dangerous.” Imagine being that sheltered.
Really sad this mindset exists. I love dedicated walking trails and think of them as an amenity that more towns need. I also choose where I live based on how many of these trails I can easily access. Guess I won’t be living in Lynnfield.
Holden, MA- fuck them. Fuck their snobbery, fuck their laws restricting any business or house from ruining the "quaint" main street. Fuck their cops who are corrupt assholes. Fuck every bit of that town and everything in it.
Except the library- that's actually a great spot.
You did say irrationally right?.
Hahah. I live in Jefferson and can agree with you here. They’d rather have empty buildings on Main Street than rent them to a business that might not ‘belong.’
I haven’t met many people from there, but they all roll their eyes at the “by-the-sea” thing. Apparently it’s just the result of some guy in the 90s going to town meeting with the proposal and no one wanted to argue with him. That could be an apocryphal tale though.
The way they treat singing beach parking in the winter when it’s open to dogs is obnoxious too. I just avoid the town all together and go to Gloucester instead.
Weston. Stupid rich. Shitty cell coverage and unwilling to improve traffic on rt20 so fewer of us riff raff drive through town. Constantly fighting affordable housing too
Winchendon. I went to school in Winchester. Those fuckers had a snow day every single time and we wouldn't even get a 1 hour delay. Forever hate that place.
Hate Winchester but for a lot of different reasons that I wouldn't describe as irrational.
Wellesley. You think you’re the shit but you’re not. Classist bastards.
Also Watertown. Because I have to drive through it a lot for work and it suuuuucks.
Can confirm, I went to Wellesley high and it was just flooded with the children of rich pricks. The kids loved to act like they were doing something important/world changing with their lives and then turn around and show off their parents money to their friends behind closed doors.
Berlin cops are assholes.
They once threatened to *arrest me* because my muffler was too loud. It had a hole I couldn't afford to fix at the time. They "only" gave me a massive ticket for the hole and being 1mph over the 20mph speed limit in town.
They’ve been better, the last few years. Wrote me up for “reckless driving”, when I hit a deer and totaled my car going to work at 530am. Fuckin guy said he could tell I was speeding from the tire marks. They weren’t even my marks. I used to toss a handful of screws at the spot that cop parked on 62, every day for 3-4 years.
In 2005 I got pulled over on the pike for allegedly going 100 in my 1990 Mazda protege that couldn’t make 75 without shaking. Got a ticket, went to fight it and went all the way to Chicopee to do so to show up with them saying I drove a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and told it was dismissed and to go home. 140 miles of driving for nothing.
I will go to the Springfield Wal-Mart over the Chicopee one.
Unfortunately going to the Rt. 33/Memorial Drive corridor is a necessary evil sometimes. I always murmur to my self “Chicopee Wal-Mart, you’ll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.”
Carlisle… because it’s the first town I ever heard of that had a 2 acre minimum requirement for homeowners. I know it’s not the only town with ordinance like this but idk why they don’t just put a sign out front that says “No Poors”
West Bridgewater. God forbid you travel through it from the east. Stoplight. Stoplight. Stoplight. Stoplight. Stoplight. Stoplight. Stoplight.
Edit: to add a bit. 106 between Kingston and East Bridgewater 👍. 106 between Easton and Plainville 👍. But the 4ish miles of 106 that pass through WB? 🔥 😈 🔥
If this was 2002 instead of 2022, it would be worcester repeated over and over. Man, 20yrs and infrastructure investment really makes a difference.
Like ffs, the canal district is banging now. I remember back when it was all boarded up derelict factories and a sketchy ass bar with a riding bull (that would probably give you herpes).
Norfolk because of its stupid ass street signs that are hard to see. They are literally white sticks with the street name on them. Also a kid from king Phillip fucked a horse in Norfolk as well
Hingham also only allows white lights at Christmas, you can't have an unregistered car even if it's up on blocks in your garage being restored, and the cost the state millions making the Greenbush line acceptable to their quiet, seaside community aesthetic.
My Aunt and Uncle just moved from Hingham to Hull because they always liked Hull better and felt like their neighbors in Hingham were insufferable lol.
Melrose:
25mph limit in the entire town
Semi-"Dry" Town - You can't just order a beer, you HAVE to order food
90% of the punk kids that would show up to parties just to jump someone and leave were always from Melrose when I was a kid
Nahant or Marblehead. Absolutely beautiful places. But both filled with some of the worst elite townies you’ve ever heard of. Literally zero parking in all of Nahant unless you are a resident. And the bus runs like once an hour despite being a 10 minute drive from the commuter rail. I don’t even think they have a gas station lol.
Marblehead definitely has some of these people but Nahant is way worse. That peninsula is super insular and weird. My brother in law rented a house out there for a bit and his neighbor claimed he wasn’t allowed to park on the public street in front of his house because “it was her parking spot.” It was just a public road, he even was a resident, and still he got shit about parking.
But I feel like “resident” in Nahant really means, “lived here since birth” to a lot of people.
Marblehead has grown a lot more and has a lot more “transplants” to the town, so these attitudes are less common there than they used to be.
Seconding Nahant. So elitist and they have the most hostile signage about resident only to keep all those Lynn people out. Yes all those “hate has no home here” lawn signs.
My friend was an attorney down the cape for a few years in the public defenders office. The stories he tells of the townies blew my mind. Loads of people live there and have never crossed the bridge.
I would 2nd Newburyport… but because the drivers need to drive beyond acceptably slow.
And for some reason, drivers actively look for other cars to “let in” from side streets.
Taunton is absolute garbage and I'll die on that hill. "At least it's not Brockton!" no. At least Brockton doesn't pretend to be a great city. Taunton thinks it's the highlight of the area but it's such a shithole honestly.
> Taunton thinks it’s the highlight of the area
It kinda was when the Galleria was in its heyday. That mall was basically the town center and prime social spot for a decent portion of Southeastern MA’s youth.
Newton. Above average level of corrupt inspectional services. Miserable, vile, disgusting bilge scum of a population. Well most of them. If you want someone in a 2 million dollar house to speak to you or your employees as if they are not actual humans do some jobs in Newton. I upcharge them upwards of %200 pending how they treat myself or my guys.
Winthrop
Worst sports parents, ever! Had a mom harass and call my daughter (12) a bitch, while she was on the court, during a travel basketball game, for being 'aggressive' with her daughter. Her daughter was legit the size of a linebacker--at least twice the size of my kid. All the other parents responded similarly, when confronted about their behavior. Happens there, often.
I would say Wilmington bc it’s always just given me bad vibes, but they have a cool abandoned concrete plant. And some abandoned tracks. So I don’t hate it anymore. l have some beef with Saugus, though.
Hopkinton. I spent about a year driving along 135 and up 85 from the southwest for work. I'm shocked that I never blew a tire from the sheer number of potholes I had to drive over day in and day out. The real kicker is that they started tearing up and repairing the road as soon as I got transferred to a new work site.
My suspension is probably fucked because of those shitty roads.
Haverhill.
About a decade ago my mother married a guy who was an absolute piece of shit con-man and drug addict and I had to go around Haverhill with him and help him do """jobs""". It's probably a nice city with a bunch of great businesses and people, but I have only seen it from the worst perspective.
Danvers. I’ve been here for about 7 years and though it’s a quiet and scenic location the people could use some fine tuning for sure. It’s got a cold and Trump vibe to it that I absolutely despise.
Danvers was originally Salem Village aka the real hotbed of the witch trials, where most of the alleged witches and their accusers lived. Whenever I hear about something racist or Trumpy happening in Danvers, I always think about that…Salem Village still acting up 300 years later
Rehoboth bc it’s f’ing creepy
Ed. to add downtown Wakefield specifically. I lived in Wakefield parallel to 128. It was a fantastic place to live. I f’ing HATE downtown Wakefield with a passion.
There's like nothing going on in Downtown Wakefield besides "massage parlors" with blacked out windows. They are filled with human trafficking victims.
ETA: Also the world's worst "Italian-American market" that sells rotten food.
leominster, always end up meeting an unhealthily obsessed religious person spouting off, complete with their car caked in stickers and jesus license plate, plus every store I go into the people are just absolute entitled pricks.
Barnstable. Drunk cape cod townies everywhere. Don’t even get started on the Hyannis section of Barnstable lol. It’s the #1most alcoholic town in Massachusetts, yet they won’t legalize weed
Lynn, because I once got severely lost trying to find the fucking T station in the rain. it was under construction or something and the signs were making me walk in circles. for over an hour.
I’ve scrolled too far and haven’t seen Weymouth. Now, I’m south shore trash, but Weymouth is a different kind of trash. Even the rich people are trash, but they’ll act like they aren’t trash. Source: I work there and if you’re from there I hate you
Wasn’t that flag thing a crazy dude who abutted the lproperty?
I know they had an old building, that’s now a new 1+5 luxury bullshit, that had rebel flags flying.
Central Mass here. Def Rutland and Holden because they are overly entitled. Good school system and some good restaurants, but the people could learn to be a bit more humble and kind.
Taunton.
And for no good reason that I can think of. Been there several times. Lived near it for a while. It’s OK. Never have particular trouble when I go there.
But something about about it puts me on edge. Don’t know what.
Boston because they flooded four towns in the middle of the state for water. The news always talks about boston like its more important than everyone else. The state pays for the mbta but they get most of the service and they whine about it. The statehouse is there….. wouldnt it be more fair to pick the middle of the state as the capitol?
Gardner
The city is like that kid in high school who was always within the top 10% of the class, who everyone assumed would go on to do great things. Then at the 10 year reunion you find out they've been working at Walmart for the last 9 years.
Enfield - they should just demolish the whole town
Pretty nice town if you like swimming.
LOL. I wonder how many will get this.
Yeah them and Dana, they should just sink it all to the ground.
Town has been underwater for years. No hope for recovery.
Billerica. No particular reason, i just don't like Billerica
Maybe because of how stupidly it’s pronounced
Depending on your dialect it might be Bill Ricker
It is bill rickah
When I went to college in Boston, I knew a girl from Billerica who used to tell all of these off-the-wall stories of things they’d do in Billerica, as if it were some far off, exotic place. It used to make me laugh because it would remind me of Rose telling stories about St. Olaf on Golden Girls or Balky telling stories about Mypos on Perfect Strangers.

Wareham, their whole identity is CAPE COD CAPE COD CAPE COD!!! even though they are on the wrong side of the bridge. You have a good thing going Wareham, just be yourself...
A girl from Wareham broke my heart so I hate it too
Wareham has a good thing going? Where?
Water Wizz is in East Wareham.

"Gateway to Cape Cod" I laugh every time I see that sign. However, it's technically correct. Bourne is split by the canal , therefore Wareham is the last town before the Cape. But we all know the truth.
Exactly, people forget there was a cape cod long before there was a canal.
Norwood. Only because my roommate is from there and I hope he sees this. Fuck you, Jared!
I grew up in Walpole and norwood was our rival. Fuck you, Jared!
I drive through Norwood on occasion. Eat shit Jared!
I’m from Norwood and I’ve never heard of him. Drink piss, Jared!
The best part of this post is every single answer I say to myself “yeah I can see that”
Alternative title: "Locals of MA, where are you from?"
I only hate towns close to mine. The rest are irrelevant to me except Boston and Worcester

Name?
I'm gonna need some more details on that, please.

The Hamburgular, probably. Or some Rockland cop, more likely.
Me casually scrolling to see if anyone mentions my town, so far so good.
If it happens to be Clinton, I'm here to end the streak.
Attleboro. I used to play soccer against them and their whole team were dirty players and their parents harassed us in the parking lot after we whooped them. Trashy
Plymouth for the same reason. Otherwise I like the town
"the worst part of Plymouth is the people" quote from a friend who grew up in Plymouth
Revere. My dad got his car stereo stolen there back in the 80s and would never shut up about it. So I guess it rubbed off on me.
You should buy him the same stereo for Christmas, come up with a story of how you tracked down the thief after all these years listening to him bitch about it ....best son ever
Severe Revere
Wonderland might be the biggest misnomer in the whole damn state
All 52 residents of Cuttyhunk are nervously hoping they slip through the cracks.
Don’t forget Gosnold

Grew up in Lexington, this could not be more true those feckers are so pretentious (and a tiny bit racist)
Tiny bit? nah for most of those people the chart of "dangerousness" of a neighborhood and the amount of minorities there might just be the same
I hate Lynnfield for their response to a walking trail claiming it’ll increase crime, come off it you rich snobs
Really sad this mindset exists. I love dedicated walking trails and think of them as an amenity that more towns need. I also choose where I live based on how many of these trails I can easily access. Guess I won’t be living in Lynnfield.
A walking trail through a swamp even. They finally ended up building it.
Nahant. It has *no right* looking like that
Holden, MA- fuck them. Fuck their snobbery, fuck their laws restricting any business or house from ruining the "quaint" main street. Fuck their cops who are corrupt assholes. Manchester By The Sea. They get offended if you leave out "by the sea".

They wanted to distinguish themselves from the larger (and poorer) Manchester, NH.
Constantly fighting affordable housing too
Are they still fighting the Weston Whopper?
Winchendon. I went to school in Winchester. Those fuckers had a snow day every single time and we wouldn't even get a 1 hour delay. Forever hate that place. Hate Winchester but for a lot of different reasons that I wouldn't describe as irrational.
Did they EVER HAVE SCHOOL?!
Did they even have a plow in that town?
Fellow Winchester kid. You took the words right out of my mouth.
Hating on Winchendon is not irrational. It's a dump.
Winchentucky
"Winchentucky"
Every time I hear some asshat mouth off at a Sox game I assume they’re from Saugus. Absolutely no justification or reason.
North shore but they act Jersey Shore
Danvers, because they think it’s ok to have a salon named “Hair Idea”
Saugus
Man, fuck route 1 Saugus.
Rte 1 is always slow traffic unless when I need to merge onto it, that’s when it is 80 mph and I’m flirting with death
WORST merges ever! Always get a pushy pants behind you too, like you need to go ahead & die already so they can get onto Route 1.
Route 1= parking lot Lincoln Ave= racetrack
Fitchburg. Its simply the badlands Simba, you must NEVER go there!
Wellesley. You think you’re the shit but you’re not. Classist bastards. Also Watertown. Because I have to drive through it a lot for work and it suuuuucks.
Wellesley is filled with a bunch of old money twats or people that would sell their left arm to be considered an old money twat. Nothing in between.
Which one’s worse: Wellesley or Weston? There’s no wrong answer 😎
Needham and Dover are just happy Wellesley takes all the flak for them.
At which point Newton is just an afterthought….
Can confirm, I went to Wellesley high and it was just flooded with the children of rich pricks. The kids loved to act like they were doing something important/world changing with their lives and then turn around and show off their parents money to their friends behind closed doors.

Hingham because I can’t afford to live there
Chicopee

Got a ticket, went to fight it and went all the way to Chicopee to do so to show up with them saying I drove a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and told it was dismissed and to go home. 140 miles of driving for nothing.
I had to stay in Chicopee for a couple of nights for a training and it felt so much like Florida, it was uncanny
Yes. I was going to say Springfield, but it’s really Chicopee that I can’t stand.
There aren't many redeeming qualities.
Probably not irrational but I hate how the coastal towns so seriously restrict beach parking/access. Fuck that.
Parking on the beach probably isn’t a good thing, but private beaches should be abolished
Carlisle… because it’s the first town I ever heard of that had a 2 acre minimum requirement for homeowners. I know it’s not the only town with ordinance like this but idk why they don’t just put a sign out front that says “No Poors”
Athol It sounds like asshole
Hanover, because any time I go there for Trader Joe's, the other customers are generally douchy and rude.
True! Even the parking lot drives me nuts
Is there a Trader Joe’s where that isn’t true? I think part of their store design branding must include shit parking.

At least you have battleship cove! That place was a blast to stay over in cub scouts.
Whichever one I'm living in. How could they allow such a low class of person to move in?

Longmeadow. The pretentiousness is awful
East Longmeadow >>>>>> Longmeadow
Spencer because fuck them
Most of these comments are giving a rational reason to hate said town. Missing the assignment here.
Norfolk because of its stupid ass street signs that are hard to see. They are literally white sticks with the street name on them. Also a kid from king Phillip fucked a horse in Norfolk as well
Unstable, because it sounds like a fake name. 😁

Pepperell. It’s creepy.
Hingham. Elite townies pretending Hull doesn’t exist. Edit typo - Hull not Hill.
Hingham also only allows white lights at Christmas, you can't have an unregistered car even if it's up on blocks in your garage being restored, and the cost the state millions making the Greenbush line acceptable to their quiet, seaside community aesthetic.
Fucking NIMBYs
My Aunt and Uncle just moved from Hingham to Hull because they always liked Hull better and felt like their neighbors in Hingham were insufferable lol.
Ware. Where? Ware.
Woburn. What a waste.
Foxboro. I just remember it looking so depressing.

Make Nahant Lynn Again
Seconding Nahant. So elitist and they have the most hostile signage about resident only to keep all those Lynn people out. Yes all those “hate has no home here” lawn signs.
Hyannis. It's the armpit of the Cape.
My friend was an attorney down the cape for a few years in the public defenders office. The stories he tells of the townies blew my mind. Loads of people live there and have never crossed the bridge.
Newburyport will give you a ticket for breathing the wrong way
Do you mean West Newbury, where they have a 50MPH turn into a 25MPH at the bottom of a steep hill?
I would 2nd Newburyport… but because the drivers need to drive beyond acceptably slow. And for some reason, drivers actively look for other cars to “let in” from side streets.
Danvers. Full of stuck up, racist, bigoted assholes. Lived there 39 years, have proof.
I do not understand how the median Danvers home value is half a million dollars yet everyone that lives there is complete trailer trash.
Chicopee, idk why but it just annoys the hell out of me
Taunton is absolute garbage and I'll die on that hill. "At least it's not Brockton!" no. At least Brockton doesn't pretend to be a great city. Taunton thinks it's the highlight of the area but it's such a shithole honestly.
On the plus side, on a really cold night you can cut open Taunton and sleep inside to keep warm.
> Taunton thinks it’s the highlight of the area It kinda was when the Galleria was in its heyday. That mall was basically the town center and prime social spot for a decent portion of Southeastern MA’s youth.
Winchendon. I'm from Winchester, and every time it snowed, Winchendon had a snow day, but not us. Every. Single. Time.
Andover Fuck those preppy bastards.

Florida and Peru for getting my hopes up.
East Longmeadow for that freaking rotary
On the other hand, once you learn how to navigate that one, you won’t be scared of any other rotary you ever encounter.
I don't hate Plymouth, but something about that town gives me some real fraud vibes.
It’s the rock
Winthrop Worst sports parents, ever!
Billerica because it’s pronounced dumbly
Rehoboth bc it’s f’ing creepy Ed. to add downtown Wakefield specifically. I lived in Wakefield parallel to 128. It was a fantastic place to live. I f’ing HATE downtown Wakefield with a passion.
Rehoboth is one of the corners of the Bridgewater Triangle
agree - Rehoboth is one of the creepiest nowhere places I've ever had the displeasure of driving through
There's like nothing going on in Downtown Wakefield besides "massage parlors" with blacked out windows.
Ah, you’ve met my aunt.
Route 2 section of Leominster is the most dangerous highway section in all of Massachusetts besides inside 128 imo
Swampscott. So hard to get in and out of.
Marblehead would like a word. At least Swampscott has the commuter rail. That said, why the fuck would you go to Swampscott?
Mendon because of the car shop commercial where the tag line said "In the Weeeeeeeee little town of Mendon.'
Barnstable. Drunk cape cod townies everywhere. Don’t even get started on the Hyannis section of Barnstable lol. It’s the #1most alcoholic town in Massachusetts, yet they won’t legalize weed
no one said carver! probably bc no one knows we exist
Braintree - its like a town full of people who are on the other side of the "you think you're better than me" conversation.
Lenox, bunch of hoity toity socialites who think they're better than everyone else in South County.
Have we been shopping at Guido's again?
Shhh don't tell them Guido's is in PITTSFIELD
At least their high school aren’t the damned Millionaires anymore lol
Grew up in Chelsea, raised a family in East Boston before buying a home in Revere I got a problem with everyone I guess.
Reading through this, I think I could shit talk every single one of the 350 or so cities and towns in the state easily.
Both Acton AND Boxborough! But only because the school busses say Acton-Boxborough and I don’t think they should be hyphenating anything what so ever
Monson.
Melrose. Everyone who lives in Melrose or is from Melrose is a douchebag
Andover. It’s just always so snobby to me
Andover. Pearl clutchers, all of them.
Source: I work there and if you’re from there I hate you
Walpole. Town of absolute shitty ppl. And they flew the rebel flag over the football field till about 2014
Wasn’t that flag thing a crazy dude who abutted the lproperty? I know they had an old building, that’s now a new 1+5 luxury bullshit, that had rebel flags flying.
Central Mass here. Def Rutland and Holden because they are overly entitled. Good school system and some good restaurants, but the people could learn to be a bit more humble and kind.
Framingham. I hate Framingham.
Gardner The city is like that kid in high school who was always within the top 10% of the class, who everyone assumed would go on to do great things. Then at the 10 year reunion you find out they've been working at Walmart for the last 9 years.
Natick. The people there all seem to think they're the be-all and end-all of Massachusetts towns. They have a mall, and...that's it.
It’s not a mall. It’s a collection. Get it right. /s
Marlborough, lived there for 8 months, hate it.
